My adapter is toast but my laptop still powers up as it normally would, so hopefully a new adapter will be the only thing that'll need immediate replacing.

So no art until I can get my hands on a new adapter.


After I do get my new adapter, I should really start saving up for a new laptop, considering the shape my old Durabook is currently in.

-I could only get it to run windows XP
-screen appears to have a desaturated beige/yellow tint
-constantly hits temperatures of 68-70°C (154-158°F) on a daily basis
-the screen occasionally flickers
-sizable chunks are missing from it's outer shell
-SD slot and disc tray are busted
-left button either triple/quadruple clicks or not at all
-battery life is 10-15 minutes (on lowest power settings)
-the power jack is often temperamental
-the noise the laptop fan makes could rival my xbox360


Hopefully I can save up enough to get a new laptop within a year or two, or at the very least before my Durabook calls it quits for good (I have 50 gigs worth of unfinished art that still needs to be moved to a safer location in the meantime).
