Hello everyone. I am 
Ashkay; newly appointed admin here on 
Halo-Furs. I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity and am pleasantly surprised how quickly I was accepted to be an admin. I have a great deal of love for the Halo franchise and will do my best to help out 
LykenZealot here on Halo-Furs. I am also grateful for the chance this will afford me to interact with people in the fandom that share in a love of one of my favorite game franchises.
Well, now that I've introduced myself, here's a little about me. I'm male living in Florida, USA. My 'sona is a blue furred, winged fox. I've been an active member in the fandom for only around two years now, but I love it. My favorite Halo Campaign is Halo 2. Favorite multiplayer is Reach. And my favorite soundtrack is a tie between ODST and Wars. I've been a fan of Halo since around the launch of Halo 3 and I've been active in the Xbox Live community since late in the first year of Reach. I love the games and the universe. have to admit my favorite parts are in the literature. I love the way they flesh out the story and canon. They bring a whole new depth to the characters. If you haven't already, I recommend you start reading the novels.
The excellent writing of Eric Nylund and Karen Travis ect among other things have helped inspire me to write my own book. I'm going into my third year of working on it and I've recently reached 100,000 words. It's an original Sci-fi/Horror novel with my fursona as the main character. If you want to know more about it, look at the journal entries I've made on my own profile.
Last, my plans for the future are to Enlist in the US Army and enter the aviation field before getting a chit into the Warrant Officer flight program as well as publishing my series of novels. I'm still unsure what I will go to collage for. But if things go my way, I might not have to at all. XD
