My suggestion is just to really well them as an auction which ends 48 hours after the last bid. Stops bid sniping shit that way.

Increasing quality or adding things can be good also based on how much is bid, incentives sudden bids to higher amounts quickly.

Beyond that make sure to pop up a picture as a scapegoat as a reminder when it's close to ebding, it will show up in the browse section which can often get you investors easily.
