I do everything free hand, whats this I hear about being able to lay down lines and then manipulate them, curve them without all this jagged shit. Id be very interested!

I assume you are referring to vector drawing. If you use Adobe Illustrator I believe it uses vectors for the standard, as opposed to raster images when you use Photoshop/sai/etc.
