Moles are big around here it seems
so my latest piece, which involved an inflated mole, has already become the 4th most faved piece in my collection thus far, sitting at 118 favs, and that took me by surprise, I wouldn't have expected such a simple piece to jive so well with so many people.
for the record, I do pay attention to my faves, not simply the numbers but who faves it. I'm not out to get the highest number of faves, I just like to see what sort of people enjoyed what I posted, and if they're someone I haven't seen before, I like to visit their own page and see what they have, as well as what their fave gallery is. you can learn a lot about someone based on what images they fave.
nevertheless, I like to compare a piece's fav count to everything else I have to see how it measures up, what sort of stuff seems popular and what isn't. this doesn't effect my choice in what to draw next, it's just more for curiosity.
With that said, I'm genuinely curious as to what you all liked most about that inflated mole piece.
Was it simply the fact it was an inflated mole? i mean artwork of moles is kinda rare as it is, with inflation art being even rarer. so I could see there being an unsatiated niche interest for such a thing.
Or was it the body shape? I mean a fair number of people that faved seemed to primarily be interested in weight gain more than inflation, and I wondered if the overall shape itself was what appealed to them, regardless of the air inflation context?
or could it just be something else? I'd like to hear it.

Like, I love moles and them being inflated given that kind of thing is rather rare.
I think ya hit a pretty good mixture of those two for me ouo
I got the bruses from here: https://www.sketchbook.com/blog/old.....tch-brush-set/
I'm thinking about making my own set to get around that issue, I've also tried some screen toning brushes but haven't been too satisfied with the results.
