Here's another review for you all to read.
I'm gonna review the PS3 game Siren: Blood Curse, enjoy.
Story: The game takes place in 2007 and it takes place, like the first game, in the eerie village Hanuda. It follows a group of americans from a TV show about paranormal things in the world and also an american student who got a mysterious letter telling him to go to Hanuda. But when the TV group comes to Hanuda, they bare witness to an unholy ritual where a mysterious group of people kill one young girl, but then the american student, whose name is Howard Wright, rushes in and manages to knock back the man that was just about to kill another girl. But as Howard manages to get away, he is chased by a demented cop that tries to shoot him, Howard manages to "kill" him, but he then rises up again and tries to strangle Howards. Howard manages to shove the crazy cop off a cliff and he is impaled on a sharp rock. But as Howard gets away from the area, an eerie siren echoes through the area and now the true horror begins for Howard and the others....
The story is basicly like the first game's story, but with americans. But they still manage to keep that special Siren feeling about it and I give the story 9/10.
Graphics: The graphics in the game are really awesome, from the facial expressions of the characters to the lingering darkness are incredible. There are a lot of good things to be said about the graphics, but sometimes it can be a little too dark to see anything even when you have a flashlight. The game is quite bloody too, the Shibitos covered in blood and even entire rooms covered in blood.
9/10 for the graphics.
Gameplay: The gameplay haven't changed it all, expect that the Six-Axis motion feature on the PS3, you still have to either sneak by Shibitos or knock them out with whatever objects that you find. The Sightjacking has been improved though, now you can lock onto a Shibito or whatever you have jacked and move, now that is a great thing. The Archive objects are still in the game and provide a lot of backstory to what happend before the game.
10/10 for the gameplay.
Audio: The audio in the game is really really eerie, from the insane laughter of the Shibitos to the creepy music that plays, it will really make you look over your shoulder at times.
10/10 for the audio.
We all know that remakes of some games have ended up being complete failures or successes, and in Siren: Blood Curse's case, it is a mighty success
I give this game a 10/10, this is a really great game for the gamers that like being scared or just like hearing about mysterious events.
I highly recommend this game if you have a PS3, either go to the PSN store and buy the game there or go to your local game store and buy the Blu-Ray edition that includes a Behind the Scene video exclusive to the Blu-Ray disc.
