Happy (late) New year, and a little rant

So the good stuff first, Happy New year everyone! I'm late to it as per usual, sorry...
And now the rant...
Star Wars has always been amazing to me. But my favorite thing in the whole thing was Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 made for the ps2. When I heard about the new one from EA years ago, I was excited to see a 3rd installment to the game, and it looked amazing too! But then I played it, and... wow, so much was missing! It wasn't a remaster, I can't even call it a reboot, it should be considered its own series. And now Star Wars Battlefront 2, with promises to be more like the classic ones, still a disappointment, but actually worse. The graphics are movie like yes, which I love. But the game... classes are back and that's it. There's new guns, but you need 100 kills just to unlock the first for any class! Even worse, this "Battlepoints" system, literally giving those MLG pros an enormous advantage, leading to one side having a full squad of heros, the leaving the noobs and beginners to rot. The best way to put the Battlefront series would be to think of the movies; Before Disney, they were great. After Disney, they looked amazing but told a shit story, and turned out odd... One joke I remember between me and my pal Enorad, the New Order is the Empire doing Nazi cosplay. Hell, there was a super Nazi esc scene in episode 7! And in the begging, a storm trooper was shot and as he died he ran his hand on another's helmet, leaving behind... Blood? Wtf how?! Their lasers, that burn the flesh and prevent bleeding! Eck, the whole thing with the movies is a perfect example for the battlefront games.... EA, just remaster the original games! I swear you'll make more money then any dramatized, microtranzaction filled, loot drop money sucking game could ever make.
Ugh... I need to go shrink myself by some pair of paws to calm down now...
