prison or $6000+ fine for "zabivaka" /boycott fifa 2018
7 years ago
Sewing workshop worker in Kazan, russia, became a victim of police provocation. One man (undercover police) came to workshop and ordered 3 mascots of "zabivaka". She asked that man permission to use that trademark, and he confirmed. Than, after completion of the order, upon transaction, sewing worker was charged in unauthorised use of "intellectual property" and faces a fine of $6000+ or even prison

Once again, everything related to this championship leading only to lawlessness, human rights violations, and even blood.
Don't support it, boycott this trash!

Oh my God! She is charged YEARS worth of fines! :( For all the good news that comes through to the US about Russia, I am disheartened by this. It seems harsh to go looking for people to push into trouble. (Granted, I think the US would do something similar without blinking based on how litigious we are. It's frustrating.)

OP
And that's only one particular example of violations of principles of human rights and so. Especially now with all this footbal, people come here and see only "Potemkin's village" (mock-up, imitation of normal life)
