FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What payments do you accept?
I have a paypal, venmo and zelle account to accept payments. I can also take payments in person at shows and cons with a Square card reader.
What programs do you use?
I typically do all my drawing in Clip Studio Paint, sometimes do my coloring there or I'll use Photoshop CC.
What brushes do you use?
I use the basic EX brushes in CSP and use Kyle Webster brushes in PS.
What tablet do you use?
I work on a Lenovo Yoga 720.
What traditional material do you use?
Here's a list of what I typically use.
Ink: Holbein or FW
Watercolor: Reeves
Gouache: Reeves
Pens & Markers: Microns, Copic Sketch Markers
Brushes: Windsor & Newton series 7 kolinsky sable, Escoda synthetic sable
Gold: Liquid Leaf
Papers: Strathmore bristol or watercolor paper
Do you stream?
No. Sadly, I lack the bandwidth needed to stream in good quality and the strain on my PC is too much with my file sizes and makes my programs lag.
Will you draw [x person/character]?
If I'm not already planning to, probably not unless I'm commissioned to draw them.
Do you do tattoo commissions?
It depends on the subject, as with all of my designs. I've designed my own tattoos. I won't do anything with text or any subjects that I'm uncomfortable with, so there would be some discussion before I agree to it. But I will if I like or am comfortable with it.
Do you accept comic commissions?
Yes! But I won't write your script for you.
Do you do adult commissions?
No explicits, but I do accept lewds.
Do you draw [x fetish] if it's clean?
That depends on the fetish. Things like inflation or hyper make me uncomfortable so I wouldn't draw those, but some I would, so you would need to ask before I can agree to it. I always discuss commissions before I agree to them just in case I'm not comfortable with the subject matter.
Why is your post schedule so wild?
I'm a parent with a small baby and an adult with responsibilities and disabilites. Sometimes I just don't have time or I'm in too much pain because of joint swelling. I may also be working on manuscripts, pitches, or contracted work that I'm not allowed to post yet. Also, my daughter throws a horrendous fit when I don't let her play with my laptop or supplies.
Why are your prices so high?!
I charge professional rates. I deserve to be paid a proper amount for my work just as much as any artist. These prices aren't decided arbitrarily. I understand not everyone can afford them, but saving is a possibility and I can't undercut myself or other artists by charging inappropriately low. Traditional commissions are higher because they have the added cost of materials and anything used for business or promotional purposes have commercial fees and licensing fees attached.
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design with a degree in sequential art (vis. storytelling) but I'm going back to school next year for a degree in fiction writing at Southern New Hampshire.
Where are you from?/Where do you live?
I'm from Alabama and currently live there but I'm moving to Okinawa, Japan soon.
Can we be friends?
Absolutely! I'm always looking for friends, especially those I can learn from. You can add me on Skype or Discord, but I don't do video calls as I usually don't have time.
Do you accept trades?
Sometimes, yes. I do trades in exchange for gift cards or art trades but only if I have the time. I can't work for free all the time, I'm sorry. I wish I could.
