Hey guys! Long journal here with lots of info for folks waiting on commissions! (TLDR version at the bottom)

Wow! Heck thank ya'll so much!!! I managed to fill up on commissions for now! And I will now be closed for work until I catch up on my backlog! I can't even express how happy I am to have the stress and anxiety of being able to fix my car off my shoulders, as well as the financial security to get by the next week or so while I get my plans in motion.

Currently it's still gonna take me some time to finish up all the work I have, possibly a bit longer than I've said/quoted in the past. I deeply apologize if I've given out bad deadlines in the past, I'm hella ambitious when I make my plans and random shit keeps getting in the way (i.e. things taking longer than expected and my lack of accounting for the occasional slow day due to bouts of depression, or just ultimately needing a day to clear my head because I cant be creative 24/7)

I know a good few folks aren't happy about the wait and I'm hoping those of you can be a bit more patient because I truly wanna fix my mistakes here. Not trying to make excuses but the last year has been rather rough, particularly emotionally for me even though I have a hard time expressing that side. As of now I'm taking the best course of action to correct all that. The majority of ya'll have been wonderfully patient and understanding. I thank ya'll so much! I see ya'lls comments even if I don't reply and it means a ton to me. And as of now my list will only get shorter.

Sorry for those of ya'll that missed out this time! Hopefully I'll be able to knock all this out as quickly as I idealize so that I can get back on track and actually take commissions properly without a wait.

My goals right now are to focus on getting my car in good shape over the next few days, as well as wrap up the stuff thats already in-progress. It's nothing major for my car, but it is a lot of small things that all added up quickly that need to be taken care of before I start using it for Uber and stuff. (i.e I definitely need to have oil and transmission fluid changed, new windshield wipers, emissions done and tags and license renewed as well as get it cleaned really well)

As for the month of August, I'll be wrapping up the work I've already started, and then jump on my next round of sketches around the middle of next week. My goals are to knock out commissions in batches by the month I've taken them. At this time I honestly can't say how long things are going to take or give out a good deadline because I'm not sure how doing a side job is going to effect how much time I'm gonna be able to put into art. Needless to say I am gonna bust my ass working as hard as I can to keep up and meet my personal deadlines the best I can.

TLDR Version: I'm closed for commissions until I finish all the work I have in my list. It may take a couple months to do so (and apologies if it takes longer than expected), but my list will only get shorter from here on out. In the meantime I'm fixing up my car with the money from the recent commissions and starting Uber and another side gig to cover my finances while I catch up on my backlog and fix the mistakes I've made the past year.
