so along side medical transcription, my mother has also been pursuing this opportunity at a publishing franchise that makes magazines for wealthy neighborhoods, if she could be come part of the franchise then she’d be in the role of gathering advertisers and stories for a magazine made for a specific neighborhood.
well, she got in! and now all she needs to do is attend a 3 day training session down in Chicago. we estimated that the whole trip should cost around $500 so I’ll be doing everything in my power to help her raise the money for it by or before the 24th of this month. This is a really big deal because this opportunity could be our key to long term financial stability!
I myself have also been doing well in terms of jobs, I’ve transferred to a different facility in pursuit of a full time position, right now I am still part time but I do also have the option to work extra hours in that facility as well. plus peek season is finally coming around, this is basically the busiest time of the year for us as everyone is buying and shipping christmas presents in advanced, which means huge volume and longer hours for us!
I’m still planning on doing some more art packs, in fact I’m thinking about making my next set consist of a variety of werewolves, if the 109 faves on the preview image is anything to go by, I’d imagine that a lot of people would be up for that sort of thing.

That job your mom's going for sounds too good to be true. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
I implore you, at very least, research as much as you can about this job opportunity before either of you put any money into it. Check glassdoor.com, search for any news stories. Adding "reddit" as a search term can help you find individual question/answer threads from non-sponsored sources. Just please, don't jump into something like this unaware.
it... is N2 Publishing, and she did look at glassdoor and found mostly positive reviews about it. doing a google search myself shows that while the search brings up some bad reviews on glassdoor, looking at glassdoor itself shows a lot of 4-5 star reviews, though most of the details are obscured till I log into it.
I'll do more research but I genuinely hope they aren't a scam. mother is pretty enthusiastic about it and talking her out of it while whe're still very much in a dangerous financial situation is going to be tough.
Seeing this is a welcome change.
