I honestly recommend wacom a lot, but that's also because I've had THE WORST trouble with Huion (which applies to the screen tablet that you don't want)

But in all honesty, wacom's done me sooo good. I haven't had any mid range priced tablets though, only the wacom bamboo and the big boys.
In this case a new huion will probably do you just as well !

I would love to be able to afford a wacom tablet; honestly I will probably get one in a couple more years once I make consistent money.

I know my sister has a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet that has lasted her like 7 years XD But I don't think that you can get those anymore unfortunately.

Huion Inspiroy WH1409 V2 if you dont want a screen tablet, other I use a Kamnvas pro 13 and I love the stupid thing x3 faster shipping On Amazon an better prices then actually gettn them from Huion however.

We have a Wacom intuos, large size. It's very good!

I've been using the Huion 1060Plus since I started, and it's pretty good for a cheap boi! I bought it from a friend, so I'm not sure about the price, but I think it was about $80+ on Amazon.
