Apologies for my art
I guess this will go without saying. I apologize if my "art" isn't as flashy or as good as some of the other folks here. I am truly trying to get better with each one. I am a furry superhero peril "artist". The subject matter will be of some type of peril and defeat. It can be a bit messy, yes. The way I put it is that I like to see the heroes defeated by the villains. That doesn't mean that they don't come out on top from time to time but that is not my focus. So if bondage, defeats, peril, and that sort of thing is not your interest, then, please just move along. I am sorry that my art isn't as good as some of the others, and I will strive to get better. But I will not pay for someone to give me advice on how to get better.
To those who have been supportive, thanks. Also, I am sorry if it not going as fast as possible. I know I still have a few outstanding pieces to get done, just need to get more time and certain things accomplished.
Thank you

You're okay.
IT IS NOT JUST PLAYING WITH A DOLL AND SNAPPING A PICTURE!
There is involved in this:
costume design- not to mention putting all the pieces together and making sure it all fits and looks/works right
location / environment design (either researching existing locations or creating your own)
finding the right poses and setting them up with the proper camera angles,
lighting (color brightness source...)
and other weather effects if any.
(is this starting to sound like a real photo shoot yet?)
Did I mention often times for each of these you have to either make yourself, purchase something close to what you are looking for, or find someone else and pay them to create some of these aspects for you?
All this is prep work before even putting the pieces together and snapping a picture, which could take massive amounts of time in its self
depending on the complexity of the scene, and number of characters (especially if they are not other SL people and you are doing it all the characters on your own.) Taking several pictures and working the camera could take a great deal of time as well.
Finally editing and putting all the pieces and pictures together to make the final product.
Sorry for the rant but people need to understand what it is and how it costs time and (sometimes money) to do this and treat those that do this kind of artwork with more respect and not like 3rd rate paparazzi. Do not apologize for needing to take time to create the great pieces that you do. You deserve the same courtesy and respect for time to create these pieces that traditional and digital artists expect to have.
