Boy, this has escalated quickly, hasn't it? Two weeks ago it was something we had mild concern about, but now I'm going to be working from home until at least April 6th, and quite possibly beyond then.
We've seen a lot of cons get cancelled and a lot of artists we know and love find their major sources of income (whether from art they sell at cons or tips from bartending at their second job) gone for an indefinite amount of time. It could be April... it could be June. We don't know yet. But a lot of artists are opening all sorts of commissions at discounted prices. So if you're still getting paid, see if you can find a way to throw a few bucks their way. You'll get some art, and they'll get money to help keep a roof over their heads. It's a win win. And you don't even have to get within six feet of anyone!

Where else can you have lunch with a rocket engineer from NASA, Dr. Who, Rainbow Dash, a Vulcan, a Jedi, and a gryphon, and no one thinks this the least bit odd?
I really hope things clear up before Anthrocon, but we'll find out. Nothing we can do but do our part to keep this from getting out of control.
