Life Update - Patreon goes well, Commissions are slow.

Hi everyone. :)
I wanted to post a quick update on how everything's going on my end. :)
For those wanting the summery:
- Patreon / Subscribe Star are going well. All things considered.
- Commissions are closed and slow until my cash-flow runs into the positive.
Patreon / Subscribe Star:
The increasing support has been a consistent and encouraging climb! The advertising on Fur Affinity and e621 also helped a lot!
For context, I quit my full time job in January and I've been hard at work on developing games. The experience itself of developing a game mostly on my own has been great, people have been really enjoying playing ticklish Tessa and I've really enjoyed polishing it up!
All this encouraging progress is having to unfortunately coincide with the covid pandemic.
The pandemic definitely has stunted the rate of growth as I've seen a lot of exit surveys on my Patreon that they had unsubscribe due to covid and finances. This is totally understandable and I support their prioritization. :) Ultimately supporting me making games is a luxury item.
Subscribe Star is slowly picking up steam as well, which is great to see!
All this considered I'm still really happy with the growing level of support. :) It remains to be seen where the "Ceiling" of support is and it might come soon or it might come years from now. There's no way to know until it's reached.
Taking my current living expenses into account, I "Should" be absolute minimum cashflow positive when I reach a $3k a month support figure. So we're 2/3rd's of the way there until I stop stressing about finances.
Commissions, and why they're so rare at the moment.
For right now the reason they're rare has everything to do with my Cashflow. Commission work can be a lot of fun but it's not in my best interests to focus so much time on them right now. When I work out how much per hour I earn from them it ends up being around $10-20 per hour of work. Which in the long term won't provide a stable future. If you look to successful artists and creators in any fandom they first focus on making fun and interesting content with personalized commissions being a side gig.
So in my mind commissions will continue to be a side-gig and help pay for luxury items like games.
My priority right now is growing the crowdfunding platforms and giving those Patrons good value.
Once I'm earning positive cash-flow with Patreon and Subscribe Star, I can slowly open up for more commission work.
For the time being though, please assume I'm closed for commissions. :) The few that you see come out once every few weeks are usually connected to friends or trusted associates. Or a commission I've owed.
Also, please also don't insist on asking via Discord if I'm open.
Fur Affinity is THE place to get a commission from me when I open up for them. So keep your eyes peeled.
Thanks everyone!

Yea it's a fun game and honestly it's so very polished with many detail and love put into it.
Understandable, it's all very hard on everyone everywhere. Plus other certain events that people have.
Have a good day and stay healthy and safe.
Keep being awesome
