Update - Telegram Channel, Commission Changes, Etc.
I guess I've been accidentally very regular about updating here every three months?? Hi again everyone~
So! I've been working away at that book, and new commission types, slowly getting better with animated stuff as promised. I've also been taking on commissions again, but I've been much more controlled about how I do them.
For the time being, I'm going to be doing commissions four slots at a time - eventually five slots when I finish the big poster commission I'm currently working on. This means wait times are massively reduced once you're on the queue! But it also means it's not as simple as just pm'ing me whenever you need something - it's just too hectic for me to keep track of that much work at once these days. :P
I open on Telegram first before I open here, just because it's easy to quickly update whenever a slot is taken - if you guys want first notice for when I do open for commissions, pop on in! I also post WIPs, finished commissions, and other exciting things I'm working on there. https://t.me/PhoenixofStarlight_Artwork
I'm also working out the info for some price changes soon - this is primarily to accommodate for the new style options I've opened up, but it's also because I've been keeping track of my hours and seeing what things I'm making minimum wage on vs. what commissions I'm making like..... 4$ an hour on. o^o' Per usual, if you've already talked to me about wanting a commission of a certain type, price changes won't take affect for you until after you've gotten what you were wanting at that original price.
I think the only last thing to mention is that, cue confetti, I'm almost done with my professional training?? I've been in art school, and now under mentorship for almost four years total. I'm currently taking the "last class" I need to take, according to said mentor. Though I'll probably continue to attend classes for fun, this is the last semester I'm spending as an art student. At the end of this semester, my priorities are going to shift from 'student in school' to 'professional at work,' and that's.... a weird but refreshing thought. Soon, this is going to be a full time job for me. And I think the best part is that... I think I might be ready.
