What will happen to their IPs like Ice age and Rio?

OP
Disney will own the rights to them.

yes but If they should get new films would 20th Century Animation make them or Will Walt Disney Animation do it?

OP
Maybe there should be a Coco/Ferdinand crossover. And Walt Disney Animation Studios or Pixar could take over the future animation for the "Ferdinand" characters.

well the problem is Coco takes place in Mexico and Ferdinand takes Place in Spain besides I don't see Disney relocating Ferdinand or other Blue Sky IPs to Pixar plus all of Blue Sky's films were also made by their Parent 20th Century Animation so my best guess would be they could be remaining with 20th Century Animation but without the NY-CT Based Studio

OP
Maybe 20th Century Animation should make a Ferdinand TV series on Disney+, without Blue Sky Studios and the computer animation would be done by a different animation studio.

and about Dr. Seuss Horton hear a Who and the Peanuts Movies those 2 movies are based off Non-Disney Properties so should Disney sell those 2 movies or keep them?

OP
Disney should keep them. If Disney sold "Horton Hears A Who!" and "The Peanuts Movie" to a different studio, 20th Century Animation would lose "Horton Hears A Who!" and "The Peanuts Movie".

well true but Horton Hears a Who Kinda fits in with Universal and The Peanuts Movie kinda fits in with Lionsgate though... plus like I said those 2 franchises are not owned by Disney

Yeah, I heard about it. That's really sad for the founders of Blue Sky studios. But hey, Robots and Ferdinand were still my favroites.

OP
I believe that the coronavirus pandemic is responsible for the closure of Blue Sky Studios. But at least we're getting a spin-off to "Ice Age" on Disney+ called "Ice Age: The Adventures Of Buck Wild".
