A few months ago, I promised you here that after a long hiatus I would be more active, and draw more cool stuff. Unfortunately, I struggled too much with chronic fatigue and other problems to keep that promise to this day. ^^'

And sadly, I'm afraid things are not going to get better in the nearest future. Yesterday, I lost one of my closest friends. A fur I've absolutely never thought that I'd ever lose. We had very good contact for a long time, understood each other perfectly, supported each other whenever we had some problems.

We planned to meet at New Year's Eve amd spend this time together. Talked about it since the summer. Agreed that if plans change, we'll inform each other earlier. Even back in October I knew our plan is still here and we will have fun together.

A week ago he decided to cancel our plans and said he doesn't want me to come over anymore. I tried to explain some things as I believed some misunderstanding happened and convince him we can still have fun as planned, but it didn't help.
And yesterday, when I told him there's still some narrow window of time to change mind and chill together, he decided to outright block me and cut all contact. :/

I'm in a very bad state mentally now. I feel like if even the closest friends start running away from me, if I hurt people THAT much even though I never wanted, it means I'm just really useless and I don't deserve anyone. or anything. :/ I'm afraid my life is slowly losing its purpose because life without friends doesn't make sense. And I feel like everything is falling apart, and slowly heading to an end.

So I'm really not in the mood right now to draw, or to do anything honestly. I'm not sure when, or if, I'll be in that mood back. I'm so sorry.

But I still hope you have an amazing time at your New Year's parties, fluffies ^.^ And I wish you all a very Happy New Year! :3

Actually I had plans for the New Years too. But a few days ago, a fur who wanted to spend it together with me (we were thinking about it since summer), sadly changed his plans and told me he doesn't want me to come anymore, and haven't even responded to my last message. :/ I still don't really understand why.

I'm in a serious need to escape an abusive household, which is wrecking me mentally at least since May, despite my several years-long effort to make everything okay and my forgiving of bad things from the past (yeah, it goes on a bit longer than since May in the grand scheme).
Until recently it was just almost daily fights with yeling and namecaling over realy trivial things, right now threats of beating me up are involved. Not sure what will come next.

If you live in Poland or even elsewhere in Europe, and could take me for at least a few weeks or a month so I'd be in a safer, friendlier environment, or you know someone who could, or you could ask people if they could, I'd be very grateful for help.
I'd help paying bills/food, I'd immediately start looking for a job, and I'd leave whenever this person asked me to leave. I just really need to change the environment I'm in, even if for a short time.

Sorry for bothering you, I just really can hardly stand it any more.

Hi all furballs!

As you probably noticed, it was quite a looong time I have been uploading new drawings very rarely, if at all ^^'

Unfortunately, the pandemic, and not only all the not-always-wise restrictions and requirements that came with it but the overall pessimistic atmosphere during these years, has hit me very hard. It finally ended - soon after the nearby war started, which brought new fears and worries. But the feeling of isolation and lack of sense amd purpose remained ^^'

It was a very depressive period in my life, that started even a bit earlier but went worse the last couple of years.
I was also struggling with health-related anxiety, that was started by a couple of wrong diagnoses and baseless warnings made by stupid doctors a few times during these years (everything turned out to be OK so don't worry ^^). But I finally mostly overcame it somehow, step by step, around last year :3
I also mostly got rid of the... depressive mood (not sure if I should call it legit "depression"), though it still comes back at me sometimes ^^''''

And after this long hard time, I want to finally come back to drawing and stuff.

TBH, I actually planned to make this comeback last year ^^''
The Halloween YCH I made was planned by me to be the starting point of this comeback, and I wanted to draw a lot of new stuff in 2024. But then...
in January, my grandma went to hospital with serious gallbladder issues.
In February, one close fur friend had an important medical exam and I worried about them REALLY much (they were OK tho, thankfully).
In March and May, I had 2 funerals in my family, one of them I couldn't attend :/ Which ruined my mood for a long time.
In June, my grandma finally had her gallbladder problem fixed, but my aunt and uncle (who helped me a lot and whom I love), had serious exams too. One of them related to a lung cancer uncle had a couple of years ago and they initially thought it returned :/
I was also attacked by a dog (no bites thankfully) and even more aggressively by its owner, and ended a long good friendship with one fur over this topic. :(

...and because of all of this, I just had no mood nor energy for drawing all these months, almost all the time :/ July was calmer and happier, but I was so exhausted that I had no energy for anything else than sitting and watching EURO2024 matches on TV drinking beer, or lying on my bed listening to music. Trying to relax.

And after I took some rest and planned to draw and upload something in August, I got that news about Babyfur and Age Regression artists getting banned on FA. So I was not sure if I shouldn't boycott FA and move to InkBunny - but as I didn't notice any removed arts in my own gallery, I decided to wait a bit and figure out if it was a serious decisiom by admins, or some "rogue admin"/"report troll" issue. I uploaded a babyfur YCH and no bans happened so for a while I've put that decision on hold (though I still believe 100% it happened to other artists and I think it was extremely wrong).

And then, this October I looked back at the same time but a year earlier, and I got incredibly sad when I realized that of all my drawing plans for this year, I completed almost nothing :(

I planned a Dragon Year art for the Chinese New Year, I planned some support art for Palestine, I planned some anniversary fanarts about Lion King or Pulp Fiction or Woodstock 69. I know I still can draw all of this, but it won't be as relevant as it would be this year :/
I planned a lot of new Nordic-themed, sexy vixen-themed, or babyfur-themed arts because I knew you liked them - and some brand new stuff. And I failed, just because I was so incredibly TIRED. :/

I feel I failed and disappointed not only myself but most importantly YOU, my followers who like my art. :( And I apologize for that. I shouldn't let all these events - though they're sad - hit me so hard that I couldn't focus on drawing at all. My hiatus was already long enough a year ago, and after giving you hope by these YCHs I shouldn't abandon you THAT much for the entire next year just because of my personal problems. I owe you more as an artist and I should do better. I'm sorry.

I'm ready to at least try to move on, though. I want to make up for all that lost time.

I know there was quite a handful (pawful?) of you furs who commissioned me during these few years, and I have never done the commissions sadly ^^' I still feel bad about it.
Remind me please of your commissions here, just by writing a comment - you can also send me a note if you prefer. Because sometimes you commissioned me a long time ago, you'll most likely need to remind me what you wanted me to draw for you - all the action, expressions, scenery, clothing etc. ^^' And send me the reference arts for characters you want me to draw.

You won't need to pay me for the commissions again if you don't want - time passed, everyone's financial situation might change, and above all I just failed you by not drawing it in time.
If you WANT to send me $$$ - I won't try to stop you, you know my PayPal. But it's YOUR decision :3 I just want to draw what you wanted me to draw, because I feel bad for delaying it for so long.

I hope that I can overcome the sadness and that this time, my comeback will be a little more successful. I hope I will be able to finally finish all the old commissions, and to properly do the new ones too. And to give you joy with some new stuff as well.

OK. As I'm from Poland, I feel I should say something because this war is happening in a neighboring country. And I feel I have slightly different view on it than you will hear from most Poles.

So.

I DON'T HATE RUSSIANS.

And NO, there will be no "BUT" after this full stop. I don't hate Russians. Just like I don't hate Ukrainians. If you have a problem with it, you are free to unwatch me, or cut all contact with me, or call me names.

And the problem is, that probably A LOT of people actually have a problem with it right now.

Moreover: I am NEUTRAL about this conflict. And I completely refuse to support ANY side, and again - if you have a problem with it, go away. I don't need enthusiasts of hate, divide and war among my fans and followers.

Honestly, I think we (no, not me, WE. You too.) still know too little about this armed conflict right now, to form any informed opinion about it. There's just too much propaganda, from BOTH sides.

Obviously - the damage is real, the casualties (especially among civilians, what is awful!) are real, the flow of refugees into Poland is real. But also a lot of things turned out to be not real at all. The 13 guys from the Snake Island didn't die, the "Ghost of Kyiv" didn't shoot down a fantasticadillion Russian planes, the Zaporizhia power plant was not going to explode.
One day our state TV showed a video game clip as a legit war footage. Ok, it was funny. Another day they shared, without any verification, a fake news about Poland giving Ukrainians a lot of military aircrafts, and also our airports to attack Russia from. And that was just dangerous.

But those of us, who were skeptical about some of these stories, got called "Russian trolls", "Putin's fans", accused of spreading misinformation. Yeah it's surely us who spread misinfo, while 99.9% of Twitter is busy sharing fairytales about 13 martyrs from Snake Island without spending even one milisecond on research and verification. ;p Gimme a break.

(There's also this annoying "warning" circulating everywhere that "a lot of antivaxxer accounts turned into pro-Russian accounts!". What else are they supposed to do, after YOU switched overnight from calling people speaking against ineffective restrictions and mandates "antivaxxers" to calling people neutral about the Ukraine war "Russian trolls"?...)

There's also another issue that I feel I should mention. Something about refugees.

Actually I'm full of sympathy for the refugees and I FULLY support helping them. I even think, that there should be even MORE refugees coming to Poland and other countries.

Those who are coming now + the Ukrainian men.

Unfortunately, the latter cannot do it - at least legally. Because this absolute CLOWN Zelensky, and this ridiculous government, banned all men aged 18-60 from leaving the country.
(Speaking about Zelensky - he will probably soon start to tell us that two-headed dragons are flying over Kyiv, just to convince NATO to fully engage in the war. What would be basically a start of WW3, so I hope they're not stupid enough to do it.)

And it rubs me the VERY wrong way, that little we hear from the feminist movement about sexism and discrimination now. Too few women in some company's executive board is a scandal, but literally forcing men to fight in a WAR and die is okay, I guess.

Also - what about the men whose religion forbids them from fighting in a war? Ukraine has one of the biggest Jehovah's Witness populations in Europe. I bet some Buddhists or Hare Krishna folks are also present here, as we have them in Poland too. Are they just forced to stay and either throw their beliefs down the shitter and take the arms, or die?... And it is okay?... I guess minorities lives don't matter now. Good to know.

And I swear I'm on the edge of switching to pro-Russian side, when I see videos of some absolute MORONS from Ukrainian army, publicly shaming men they caught trying to escape Ukraine. Posting their photos and addresses online, giving them flowers for Women's Day. This is not a behavior of a soldier, this is behavior of a worthless scavenger fauna and these are certainly not people whom I wish to survive and return safely to their homes. I wish them f**king NOTHING.

(TBH, here in Poland I would only expect the primary school pupils to behave in such an immature, stupid, bully-ish way. Seems like the Chernobyl catastrophe caused a lot of brain developmental problems in these areas :D)

And yes, I know there's a BIG chance Russian army would behave similarly. But I'm constantly being told here in Poland that Russians are "less civilized" than Ukrainians who can do no wrong (on some popular forums they're even called an "inferior race" - and nobody cares, these posts get upvoted like there's no tomorrow), so forgive me my "high" expectations. :p

I already don't really support sanctions. Most of them only affect ordinary Russians, marginalizing and ostracizing them. Whatever Putin wants to do, he will not be stopped by EA kicking out Russian teams from their FIFA games, a cat show banning Russian cats, or some dumb petition to remove Russian flag emoji. If anything, he will just use it to show once again in the Russian TV that "the big evil West just hates Russia".
And those which don't, are half-assed, with as many exemptions as you can put into them. Well, it's not like there's another way tbh - the EU made itself too dependent on Russian gas and oil to separate from Russia completely. There are some pipeline projects, but you don't build a pipeline in one week.

Also, there's one more reason for me to be neutral. We don't really know why this unexpected invasion happened.
Putin may be just a crazy old man who decided to go full savage just to be remembered as some great modern tzar who could fuck up entire planet.

But there are also these rumors about bio-weapon labs. If it's true, then it's actually good they got destroyed. I'm pretty sure I don't want several little Wuhans just outside my country's border, and I actually couldn't care less if Ukraine wanted to have them. :p Bioweapons are a danger to ENTIRE humanity.

There's also this "Nazi" stuff Putin talks a lot about. And... well, sadly it's partially true. I'm obviously SURE neo-nazis are as much a fringe group in Ukraine as everywhere else, but I think this problem might be a little bigger in Ukraine than here in Poland.

Here in PL, what neo-nazis do now is mostly organizing some niche RAC concerts at obscure clubs in some small towns near Wrocław xD In UA, there are entire neo-nazi paramilitary groups like Azov Brigade. And political parties (with little support tho) openly glorifying for example UPA units or SS Galizien (a Nazi Germany-collaborating organizations during the WW2).
My grandpa fought these UPA guys during the war. Luckily, they were far worse at fighting a grown man than at killing babies with pitchforks and axes. "Heroes", my ASS.

Also the fact is that for 7-8 years the people in these Donbas separatist-controlled zones weren't treated by Ukrainian government very nicely. Sometimes these Azov guys were involved in it too. I know it from a woman who actually lived there.

Also the fact is that in BOTH Russia and Ukraine the corruption is rampant. It's not like one country is corrupt hell and another is a paradise where only saints live.

Also the fact is that in BOTH countries the military service is compulsory only for men. Which I strongly oppose.

Also the fact is that BOTH Putin and Zelensky are members of WEF. Which I strongly dislike.

So it's not as black-and-white as it seems imho.

To those who want to tell me: "but you wouldn't be neutral if the war was in YOUR country!!1":

Huh. Actually nope. Even if PL is attacked, I will NOT fight. :p

First and foremost - I have too many furry friends in Russia. And as long as there's even 0.0000000001% risk I might kill one if them during this stupid war, I'm NOT gonna shoot at anyone. Sorry - friendship > some imaginary lines on a map for me.

I know I may go to prison for objecting - but I don't care. Happened to a lot of pacifists - religious like JWs or buddhists, or non-religious like hippies during Vietnam War or anticommunists in communist Poland. Can happen to me too. Shit happens.

If our stupid politicians want to take part in this war SO much, they all are free to go and fight themselves.

Just like all the ppl in PL (and sometimes abroad) I thought I knew, who were extremely anti-war all their life but lately turned into f**king warhawks overnight. And are parroting now exactly the same what neocons say when talking about Israel. That Israel which is bombing Syria now, btw.

As I said before - I'm NEUTRAL on this conflict. I wish my country was too - it obviously isn't. But it's not my fault.
I may send money to charities helping civilians in the warzone - for sure. But I'm not gonna DIE, especially for a cause I don't believe in.
Some Polish politicians, like those who called for restrictions against the unvaccinated or who continue to destroy Polish businesses with more and more taxes and complicated regulations they don't fully understand themselves, are a bigger enemy to me than any poor conscripted Russian chap - who probably doesn't want to fight just like me. I don't want to do anything to defend these politicians. I don't care about their safety.

This is not my war. And NEVER will be. Whatever my country's government will decide.

And also feel free to call me a "Russian troll", a "comrade" etc as much as you want. Couldn't care less.

I was pretty busy the January 1st and 2nd, so there was no update from me. But now I have a bit more free time, so I want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR TO Y'ALL! :3

I hope the new year 2022 will bring you (and me!) a lot of joy, all - or at least most - of your dreams will come true, and you'll make some new friends or at least not lose the old ones (I lost a lot unfortunately - though not by them dying...).

This year, I also want to wish you one more thing.

I wish you all that 2022 will be a year without authoritarianism. Without discrimination, without segregation, without brutality, without politicians and big corporations grabbing more and more power and control over YOU, without blatant propaganda and fearmongering.

All of the above unfortunately started happening more and more frequently in 2021.

People are being divided into classes over some medical decisions which should always be a private matter, and those who make the "wrong" decision are being called murderers, "selfish sociopaths", "plague rats", "bioterrorists" or worse, discriminated against, fired from their jobs, harrassed, their concerns (often justified) are being ridiculed.
People's businesses and livelihoods are being destroyed by harmful and ineffective measures, big corporations are being given more and more power and exemptions from any legal responsibility for the potential bad effects of their products.
Globalist billionaire elites from WEF, completely detached from average people's reality, start thinking about how to use the epidemic as a tool to transform the society into tightly controlled, dystopian nightmares we've only seen before in Orwell's and Huxley's fiction books.
Scientists (some of them honored by Nobel Prize or having articles published in Nature or Lancet) who present an opinion even slightly different from the mainstream fear-driven narrative, are being called flat-earthers, silenced, cancelled and threatened.
And people protesting against all of this are being arrested, beaten, and sadly also killed by the police.

And the VERY political parties and their voters/supporters, who should - given their history - stand always on the side of worker's rights, freedom of conscience, privacy, equality and ACTUAL SCIENCE, and against state/police brutality, globalism, corporations getting a blind eye turned on their dirty games, and discrimination, actually seem to cheer for all these atrocities. Some of them do it as a form of virtue signalling - but they actually probably don't know what the word "virtue" means.

Shit which is going on in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy and some other countries where so-called leaders decided to value "safety" (though, let's be honest, rather power and huge money than safety ;) over freedom, reason, human rights and civil liberties, is not good.
I'm lucky enough to live in one of the countries where the government is capable of using their brains (at least in this matter ;). Swedes, Norwegians, Bosniaks and Americans - in some states like Florida or SD - are too. But we all should always remember about the folks in these parts of the world which, once pretty cool places to live, are now becoming some authoritarian hellholes. These folks start to fight back tho, and we should support them in their fight - because the authoritarians drunk with power will never stop grabbing more of it if people won't say "STOP!" at some point (or "ARRÊT", for Quebecers ;).

As a Pole, I know something about dividing people into übermenschen and untermenschen.
Two members of my family were prisoners of Dachau. They probably haven't survived the war, and they didn't land in Dachau for their race or ethnicity. They did for something that was "their own choice", as it's now being said about the unvaccinated. One of them has been bringing food to the Jews from the ghetto and get caught, another one - you may laugh at this one - named his dog Hitler shortly before the war, and someone noticed him calling it and denounced him.

Even if they were imprisoned or killed for ethnicity though, remember - Holocaust started with claims and public warnings that Jews spread typhus. It was not "Jews bad" from the beginning, it was initially all about "public health and safety".
And I'm angry infinitely more at people who don't see the parallels between early stages of this genocide and what is happening right now, than at those who see them and warn about what might happen next (among them, some Jews who survived the Holocaust can be seen and heard too).

Division, discrimination and abuse of power NEVER, NEVER, NEVER ends up well. Period.
The one done by slave owners and segregationalists in the US ended up in a great tragedy,
the one done by nazis and fascists in Europe ended up in a great tragedy,
the one done by communists in China or Soviet Union ended up in a great tragedy,
the one done by tribal suprematists and Interahamwe in Rwanda ended up in a great tragedy,
...and the one done by corporate globalists and celebrity "experts" will also end up in a great tragedy. Let's maybe this ONE f***ing time learn a little from human history, and not repeat the same mistakes once again.

Okay.

This issue gained quite huge attention across the fandom, especially the babyfur community. So, as partially a member of this community, I feel I need to make some statement about it, especially given that my view slightly differs from most folks here say.

First of all - child abuse, including sexual one, is absolutely unacceptable kind of behavior. It is a crime - and a serious and horrible one. Unfortunately, I know something about it too and believe me I wish I didn't.

Every victim of such a crime has a right to seek justice. The problem is, recently here on FA and Twitter I saw a lot of people who certainly don't look for justice. Only thing they look for is a vent for their pure rage and hatred.

Regardless if MalyMilo did it or not, all these comments wishing him to be raped, beaten, tortured or killed in prison are just ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Spamming his profile with hateful comments doesn't help anyone, neither the commenters nor the kids he might (or might not) abused. The only purpose it serves is dehumanizing him and making the spammers feel virtuous and morally superior. Which is not always the case, I dare to say.

I know I may make a lot of enemies with this statement now. But I don't really care at this point. I just can't stand this angry mob mentality and I find it hard to not fight for certain values I believe in.
If we fight against police brutality, but the next second we wish prisoners to get raped, tortured or killed by inmates (which, let's be honest, are not saints as well) in prison just because they are imprisoned for a crime we despise more, something is not right in my opinion.

And also, if French prison system in any way resembles a modern one, it is not gonna happen - so I would recommend cooling down the emotions. Even here in the wild-eastern largely populist Poland, sexual offenders are kept in separate prison areas for their safety. And for a good reason.

Wrongful convictions exist. And ANYONE can be wrongfully convicted and imprisoned (or executed, in some backward countries) for ANY CRIME, any day. Including me, including you, including those guys spamming about their revenge fantasies now. Think about it, guys.

And tbh, this all comes without really ANYONE of us having access to any solid evidence. I didn't see Milo committing the crime he was accused of, and I assume no one of you saw it happening neither. All we have is a couple of articles in French newspapers.

Yes, they say he pleaded guilty. But did he so because he did it, or because he know almost nobody was going to believe it was not him, and just wanted to get lower sentence for being innocent?...
Let's be honest, situations where the accusation alone was enough for people to destroy someone's life and career happened before, and not long ago. The "MeToo" movement often showed us that no evidence is needed nowadays, the cancel culture crowd screams "trust the victim!" and it's all that matters.

The victim here is a two-year old boy. We don't have more information about this case than his words. And I would say that the only two persons who know if what he told is truth, is MalyMilo and this boy himself.

I'm not saying he didn't commit this crime. What I'm saying that every case, where the only evidence we have is a kid's statement, gives me huge McMartin Preschool trials vibes. And a healthy amount of doubt might be not the dumbest thing to have.

And even if he did it - he is still a human being, for hell's sake. Period.

I also don't agree with FA removing all his artwork from his profile site. A website about art should be only about art - regardless of what said person does in their IRL life. Lewis Carroll had pedophile tendencies too - but he was still a brilliant writer and talented mathematician and we don't ban "Alice in Wonderland" from bookstores and libraries nor his mathematical discoveries from being taught. Michael Jackson was accused of pretty nasty things too, but we don't ban his music. We should separate artist's private life and their art.
What FA did, smells to me a bit like just a virtue signalling, and purely marketing movement to please the enraged folks here.

Finally, as a babyfur - I don't buy this "people like him give us a bad name" argument, which I believe makes a lot of people feel they need to wish him death publicly to show everyone that babyfurs hate pedophilia.
Most people who call us pedophiles do so just because they hate our hobby. They will call us this name no matter if we call Milo out or not. They just FEEL we are like that, and no amount of facts will change their mind - they just don't care about them as these facts go against their feelings.

I was called a pedophile numerous times, and only because I happen to be a babyfur - especially by members of Polish furry community (which is sadly largely a toxic conservative cesspool, though it's not something you would really see if you are just a guest at a furry con in PL and everybody is nice to you because you are a foreigner), but certainly not only. And I'm not the only babyfur who experienced that.

And it's not gonna stop just because now every babyfur and their grandma would start to harass one user and wish him death.

As you maybe noticed, I've not uploaded a lot of stuff recent months ^^'

If you're worrying about me, I want to calm you - I'm alive xD I'm also perfectly fine. :3

My absence was caused by two things. First one was me being quite busy with my job, through the pre-Christmas season.
Second - and more serious - one was a terrible bug in my smartphone which I use for taking photos of my artwork. It made the smartphone showing me error messages every time I tried to take second photo - I could take only one, if I din't like it I had to close the photo app and reopen it (or - sometimes - even restart the phone!) to take the next one. It was so irritating and tiring, that I just gave up with drawing for several months x3 And I couldn't even run my traditional Christmas YCH too because of that :(

Yesterday I got a cheap new phone as a temporary replacement of my current one, which makes quite good photos - so finally I can get back to drawing! And I plan to do looots of drawings this year :D

...and I even drew something today, somehow related to certain small trip I made recently ;3  rhadmor probably knows what I mean :D

As you maybe noticed, I began to submit beach-themed babyfur artworks similar to those I submitted in October.

That's not because I have no new ideas - hell NO! :D

That's just because I decided to improve them a little, as I realised the previous versions are IMHO a bit too crappy for such a great theme - the shadows looked not good enough for me, the sand was too pink, and the sea had slopes sometimes :D So I did some re-coloring, re-shadowing and similar stuff. And I wanted to show everyone the better ones ^^

(And - last but not least - putting these pics now in March matches better with time of the year when my fursona actually spends her holidays on the beach XD)

I consider this year not the really bad one. A lot of bad things happened in the world, but there were also positives. Maybe I failed to achieve all my goals, but at the other hand - I achieved some of them too. Hope at least some of your plans also came true this year :)

But even if this year would have been the greatest of all - it still could be better! :D So I wish you - and me too - the New 2017 Year being even better than this ending one. And every next year better than previous one too. :3

For a long time I avoided speaking about politics, but now things are going a little too far.

You might have seen some news about Poland on TV. Yesterday we had massive protests against limiting press freedom and breaking law by the ruling party (voting on next year's budget was moved to another room - what is illegal - because a lot of MPs protested against plans to limit journalists' access to parliament building).

But IMHO it's not the worst thing that government does something illegally - it's nothing new in Poland, previous government refused to rise income tax threshold and signed ACTA despite Constitutional Court's opinions ;3

The worst thing is, how harmful ideas this government is able to push through illegally.

Today, on December 17th, I took part in a protest against Polish government's plans regarding "Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence". They want to cancel ratification of this act by Poland, believing that laws against domestic violence are attacking Polish tradition and culture. And believing that this act promotes "gender ideology" - whatever it can be.

If things will go this way and nobody will stop government from doing such evil, Poland will become a place where domestic violence is considered an internal issue of every family, because "children are parents' property blah blah blah", where you can force your child to undergo "correctional therapy" for being gay, or even - like in e.g. Idaho - where you can refuse medical treatment to your child because of your religious reasons, and nobody will give a fuck.
(In fact, the last thing already began - our public TV invited anti-vaccination activists to one of their programmes, to let them spreading their unscientific, ignorant views on vaccines and encouraging parents to dodge public immunisation programs.)

There's maybe less acceptance for violence against women, but still - there are situations when harrassed women are shunned by their conservative faimilies for seeking rescue from their abusive husbands, and have no money to find new home for them and their kids - especially in smaller towns. They need complex social, psychological and lawyer's help - and repealing the act may make providing them such help harder.

And this is not first - and probably not last - thing this government can destroy until next elections.
Earlier, they tried to ban abortion even in case of rape or danger to women's health, but massive protests kept them from doing this.
Later, they changed the assembly law - now, the demonstrations orgainsed by the government and the church will have higher priority to be registered. This time, protests didn't help - just as protests against support in EP for CETA, which is dangerous to our agriculture and food market.

Now, they are speaking about planning to limit access to porn sites. With strict enough interpretation of what "porn site" means, it may turn out that me and other Polish furry artists will have to officially ask our ISP for access to FA.
And lots of ruling party members and supporters speak in favor of returning to compulsory military service for males. To "make men the real men", of course.
As in favor of law banning "homosexual propaganda", similar to the Russian law, too.

Will our protests help in any of the new cases? NOBODY knows. But it doesn't mean we shouldn't try :)
