Hey everyone! It’s been sooooo long since i’ve updated on here and not for not wanting to or that i’d abandon my FA page, not at all.

The last year since I went back to working my day job again regressed my creative pursuits more than I thought would ever happen. At the time I went back in June 2023, I still had Megaplex committed to so I kept going. However, post Megaplex everything went to shit. My hrs are Noon - 8/9pm M-F. It’s customer service but desk work cause I still do digital design but I’m doing a lot of answering email orders and working up quotes for clients (I work in printing). However, they have us standing in 1 spot for 8hrs a day. Answering phones constantly. It’s a loooot. While I enjoy it still and love all of my coworkers, it’s incredibly draining on my social battery. When I get home, I simply don’t want to exist anywhere else, which has lead me to step back from everything I kept up with online (socials, streaming, discord, telegram). All I found myself doing was either reading, playing comfy farm sim games, or doom scrolling tiktok. My creativity was burnt out and I felt constant guilt for not putting more time into working on owed art.

Jan 2024 I found a new burst of life and I’ve been diligently plugging away at my comm queue despite being slower than I’d like. Thankfully I’m seeing the end of it now which means I plan to embrace mistakes, throw my perfectionism out the window, and get back to studying and improving my art. I’ve been doing a lot more background painting in my comms and I really want to improve that along side developing my style. I’ve invested in some online art courses for digital painting and I’m eager to get down to practicing and taking that knowledge to put towards future commission offerings as well as my own personal projects (which has Orias all over it lol).

With that info, you’ll be seeing uploads from me of my back log of art I’ve done over the last year steadily show up in your submissions. I do hope you give them a fav or even a comment. I love hearing from you all and knowing my art is reaching you fills me with joy and helps me fight past the exhaustion and burnout from my day job so pursue creativity no matter the hrs i’m left with in the day.

For any Washington state furs here, I’ll actually be in the Seattle area this October 1st - 8th as my wife and I will be up looking around at potential places we would like to move to by Fall 2025. 🥰 We plan on spending a good chunk of time at the Slightly Furry Taproom at 851 Rainier Ave S in Seattle, WA. We’ll update times when we’ll be there exactly when it’s closer, but if you have the time and want to say hi, I’d love to meet you! Hey everyone!

Wanted to give you all a big important update. I wish it was good news but sadly it isn't.

On June 2nd, my husband lost his job, and my being able to do art full-time came to an end. I can't sustain all of the bills on my art and streaming income alone, and we need health insurance through a job (cause buying health insurance as a freelancer is terrible and wicked expensive for shit coverage).

So, I thankfully was able to talk to my old boss and he got me a full-time M-F job doing networking with some graphic design work as needed. Aside from the 8hrs of standing, the less creative design work I have to do I'm actually ok with considering being creative all day and coming home to be creative and draw really burned me out. So, this should be a decent middle ground to where I can still draw and not be so tired.

Now what does that mean? It means my time to draw has been drastically cut. I've closed my patreon, and won't be opening new comms until my entire comm queue is clear. Hi everyone. So, things have been really bad recently. I started art full-time in March. Things were great, but then things in the news started to spiral and really hurt my mental health. I fought past it to get to Megaplex, which was great, but leading up to it was rough trying to make merch around comms, and then sales were low. Following Megaplex, my car battery died, and then I got a surprise bill from the IRS (that they fucked up on). Instead of opening more comms and adding to my queue, I tried making merch for Final Fantasy XIV. There was a lot of interest, but that interest didn't produce results (much of which I blame the twitter algorithm being terrible for artists). I can't open more comms until I get through more of my queue.

So, I hate to ask, but I'm desperate right now. Anything you might be able to spare would be a huge help.

I'm working hard on trying to get myself over this hump. I have ADHD so streaming helps me focus, but recently I've been engaging with chat too much, so I'm going to stream without a mic to help me focus on drawing. If I don't stream, my ADHD is even worse, and what should take me 2 hours, takes me 4-5hrs. I am seeing a therapist right now (finally), and do have a referral to see a Psychiatrist in hopes of getting on meds, but right now, I have to fight against it.

Once I'm in a better position, I'll go back to my pngtuber and mic. But for now, I need to do what I can to get past this.
