the protests and riots going on in this country has broken my heart. every day i already worry for my partner and our family. the amount of senseless murder of black people the past however many years has exploded into a demand for change. too many black men and women have died due to police brutality and their racism that has infected this country, especially once our racist president was elected and has rallied white supremacists against the black men and women of america...

all lives can't matter until black lives matter.

if you can't understand why black lives matter, a great example is if a house is on fire, you don't worry for the other houses that aren't on fire. you don't hose down those houses unaffected, and treat all houses as equal in a fire if they are not burning. this is what ppl don't understand about the blm movement--- white ppl try to make it about them and "all lives matter!" but they miss the point.

black lives matter. george floyd was murdered by a cop crushing his neck over a "counterfeit" bill whether or not that's true, no one deserves to be killed for it. but its clear this country doesnt feel that black lives matter. wait, no, not just this country-- the entire world is affected by the ripple effect here as a result of his murder. even places like the uk, japan and canada are now facing an eruption of demand for change in protests and riots. there are ppl complaining about the looting and riots without acknowledging there are white supremacists, and especially among those, the /COPS/ setting up peaceful protesters and inciting violence and crime first. there is very clear evidence of this fact, not so much in the media but on social media such as instagram and twitter where censorship doesn't exist. you may find yourself asking, why not protest peacefully? but they HAVE and they DID, like taking a knee, and still being brutalized. people are being shot at for raising their hands peacefully, asking to not be shot. cops are selectively abusing black ppl in these protests, ignoring the white men with guns. it's the racists making the movement look bad. cops are placing bricks to lure people into being arrested. they are posing for pictures in "solidarity" and then teargassing people immediately after the photo ops. it's performative and they don't care about everyone equally.

do not come at me and tell me looting is more important than a man's life that was taken, either. you are missing the point. property can be replaced and rebuilt, but the lives lost are gone forever and can't be brought back. the police do not protect us like you think they do. they are not here to protect lives, but to uphold the law. their responses of violence is a sign they cannot handle the looting problem like you think they can. the point is, we don't need police to protect us or keep us safe because they don't do it equally for everyone anyways.
and for my fellow white ppl... use your whiteness to help black ppl in these times. use your platforms to spread awareness. if you see a black person be confronted and in danger with a racist, whether they're just that or a racist cop--- stand up for them, and make sure you help when you can. we cannot deny our white privilege, we will never not have the upper hand, the advantage, of being white. but what we can do with it is help others that need it. where do you start? talk to your racist family and friends and open up the conversation, let them know what's right and wrong. remind them this is murder, that the countless lives taken even before george floyd was murder. do not be silent. do not be neutral. there is no neutrality in the conversation of racism. you are either racist or anti-racist in your actions. being silent and neutral is in favor of the oppressor, in favor of these murders.

do not make the black lives matter movement and all of the lives lost about you and your whiteness. it is not about us!!!! let black ppl speak. let them do what they need to. let them feel heard. and help them.

amplify black voices... spread awareness... because enough is enough.

hi everyone! so after that hiatus, damn- that move took a toll on every part of my soul lol.. and then we got hella delayed by things that were out of my control for repairs such as the electric.. but hey, here we are! we have our house now! and i have my computer desk set up and my computer all set up! yay!!!! we are currently in the middle of a random bathroom remodel thanks to rotted flooring which it was a miracle our original steel tub did not sink and fall through the crawlspace :'D but its coming out super super nice and aaahhhh!!!

SO ANYWAYS- that's where i've been and what i've been up to. i've seldom drawn on my tablet but nothing super substantial however any and all doodles and draws were posted to my patreon when possible, though it wasnt much content, the stressors of moving and having people all over the house to do repairs hasnt been an ideal situation from which to work home from. plus the office and the desks and computers were just set up in august due to the electricity issues, so i really had no choice but to wait anyways.

BUT, SPEAKING OF PATREON... i have a pretty damn large backlog to make up over there! i hadnt posted any content unable to for FOUR MONTHS !!!! thats a really long fucking time!!! so my plan is to use the pledges made and use them as commission vouchers so that patrons dont lose out on their pledges, because it was so super sweet for them to continue supporting me even when i had zero things to show due to the stress of the move and everything that came after. i cant express how grateful i am that my patrons have stuck by me, so i want to make it up to them and i feel going "so this is how much you've given me total for those four months, you can get art with those pledges" is the best way to show my thanks and make sure everyone gets what they deserve! so, i have a list to be working on that stuff and then hopefully when all of that is taken care of, i can resume things as normal aka opening commissions once again when my queue is fully depleted. yay!

ideally, i would like to get through these in october. i have a small 2 day vacation on the 22nd and 23rd to disneyland so i would really REALLY love to get most, if not all of it done before then, and leave the rest of the time after the 2 day vacation to work on commissions... or so that's the plan anyways, and we still have lots going on with house repair still, but that's my goal and i would really like to stick to it. it's going to be hard getting back into the swing of things, but i hope you'll all be patient with me as i continue to figure out how to go about all of this backlog.

i will however not be taking on any additional work until all is done and out of the way- unless should an emergency rise or something, but i will do my best to make sure the things i have to do arent going to be put off for much longer.

hi everyone! i feel like i gotta write something, because lately i've been getting a lot of questions in note about them, and i feel like i gotta lay down some ground rules about commissions and how they are done now.

i'd like to keep this on my front pages at all times, but idk it might get pushed down but i'll try to keep it visible at the very least. so!

i've been getting a lot of notes about commissions like when am i opening and etc and i just gotta nip these questions as whole in the bud i think, because i don't like them and i don't like having to repeat myself and what is written on my profile here in the first place about commissioning openings which people seem to be ignoring every time i get a note.

i am not open for commission here, except when i choose to open slots via journal or something like an auction through submission.

please do not note me about commission openings because i CANNOT tell you when i am opening them! and i will explain why.

as you all know, patreon is literally my main source of income and anything else i do on the side is just when i have the motivation and energy to make some extra money or if i have to because of an emergency etc. i have a handful of extremely dedicated and generous supporters that i must work for on a monthly basis. without them i would have very little stability and would need to be opening commissions here like crazy but the fact is whenever i have i don't even get a lot of interest IMMEDIATELY anyways which is what i depend on. and i need that stability in my current life. my patrons will ALWAYS come first, they will ALWAYS have priority over the public for anything but ESPECIALLY commissions.

if you want a commission, you will have to consider pledging and supporting me on patreon for your best shot! or wait patiently for slots opening here, but mind you, that ONLY happens if NO patrons are interested, and it's very rare that i don't fill up the few slots i open for them and so rarely do slots open here anymore because i get what i need from them. and that's my main concern going forward, and this is likely how it will be.

i would like to change that, but i'm already so busy with patreon and producing content while also taking some time for myself so i don't get burned out or overworked and especially now because of my health that matters even more! i find myself getting really tired and the free time i have from patreon is often spent sleeping or doing things to relax, and maybe a few collabs to keep money afloat if i get too low.

the fact is, i can't tell anyone not a patron about commission openings because that would be EXTREMELY unfair to put other people first and not them. they are the ones supporting me monthly, and it's only fair to give them that priority. if you want the same treatment, for the benefits they have, you have to be a patron, or you need to be patient and stop asking me when i'm opening commissions and keep your eyes peeled for openings.

i have a telegram channel (previously discord which i stopped using-) for patrons only and i often announce things like streams and commission openings! so if you're subscribed to that channel you will know as soon as everyone else does- i also post them on the main site as well but the channel is more convenient for me personally... people pledging more will of course get more priority but they don't always go for commissions so you still have a great chance! and if you are seriously interested i can always put you on a waitlist if you'll be patient with me! i'm very willing to work things out for my patrons! : )

plus if you're a patron and pledging a certain amount, as thanks for pledging, you get discounts on commissions and pay less depending on your patronage every time you get a commission! it depends on the commission type, as well as the amount you're pledging but you'd be paying less due to your support per month!

the only thing being is you have to be pledging a month fully before asking for commissions, because i don't want people supporting me for commissions only. the commissions are a thank you for being a long time supporter, they are a bonus for your support, they are not for you to take advantage of and run off from patreon when you get one as a one time thing. that's my least favorite thing ever and i'm determined to prevent that from happening! it's very rude, especially when i need to make time as it is for stuff like that as well.

hi everyone! aahh i dunno how to even say what i wanna write, but i've been gone the past week except for social media.. and even then that wasn't really something i spent my time involving myself in :')

but for anyone who remembers my health issues about my arthritis and specifically my swollen finger i've finally found what's been happening with my body, but it took a week to really process the lab results and what the doctors told me, and it was kind of rough and full of really high emotions. i couldn't work under the stress of what i'd been told and this is why, specifically that one auction for the sticker sheet got removed, because i couldn't take on more work when i was feeling already so behind on things i already owed even in the face of an emergency.

a week ago, give or take- i was diagnosed with lupus, which is autoimmune and chronic and lifelong pretty much. it hit really hard but i think i'm finally okay again enough to come back and get to work and stuff. the break i took was really needed since it was hard to accept and i was feeling really upset and scared for my future and lack of "control" over my health. but, looking back at every symptom ive had even from years ago, it really does explain a lot of things, even simply down to certain behaviors and things ive felt as well as my mental health and everything too. it's relieving, at least, to have somewhat of an answer even if the diagnosis isn't very clear at all in terms of the how's and why's.

i've been prescribed medication to suppress my immune system and aspirin to prevent clots and stroke and stuff, and so far the only thing the lupus has been affecting, as far as anyone knows, is my joints causing the arthritis. otherwise, for the most part, i think i'm okay and caught the diagnosis in time to prevent any destruction to my body any further.

that being said, im not really too excited about suppressing my immune system and being more susceptible to sickness and everything but i'm doing whatever i can to take care of myself, which includes seeing the right doctors to make sure i stay healthy and will continue to be okay.

anyways, i wanted to let you guys know since ive been kinda... silent about myself for a while, and its really for no other reason other than ive been trying to work out things with my health and i finally have a direction to go in, which is great news, even if a bit hard to swallow and cope with. but i believe i'll be able to get through it. and also ive been pretty busy and focused on providing content for my patreon solely as my main income but i'm hoping to do more art for the public soon too as there are some changes coming with my health, so more plans are being thought up.

well i figured out i was ace earlier than i knew my sexuality, like i knew i just didnt have an interest in it. and proceeded to think i was broken for years because i didnt want to do it... but then i realized i was gay when i had no male friends and only found comfort in women????????????? like ALL my friends were girls every single one and the only bf i had i realized i didnt like him in the way i liked my girl friends. ............. yeah. and then i found out i was GRAY ACE because i could have sex with my partners if they wanted (and i have desire to) bc of that strong connection, but otherwise im p repulsed and wish i was a blank doll down there. i only found out my comfort in being non binary about 2 years ago and i've been way happier about who i am as a person and with my identity and such!!!!!
