I'm a cat of few words.

Ok... finally some uploads coming
Posted 18 years agoOh man, it's been waaaay too long that I've left this sit here. Time for some uploads I think. Now I'll warn you in advance that anything visual I upload here won't be my work but will be gifts or commissions I've had done - I'm just not that great with a pen (or tablet as the case may be) so I gladly defer to the experts for that. Anyway, I'm uploading a few of my favourite works of those I've received, so far featuring my lioness and myself - hope you like 'em half as much as I do! :X)
Brief Introduction
Posted 19 years agoWell, according to my userpage I joined this little community roughly three and a half months ago, and so it's probably about time I cleared my throat and introduced myself somewhat, in case there are some curious cats (or any other species) out there. Though being 1:35 am in my corner of the jungle, this will be a relatively short hello! :X)
Moving on... to quote my current profile, "I'm an anthro Sumatran tiger with a mix of black and blue stripes, a love of nature, an upbeat outlook, and a major thing for my lioness lifemate Jess (or Honey). I'm in my 'third life' at present - old enough to know what I like, and young enough to enjoy it all." I guess that's the summary version, but over the next few journal entries I'll try to explain myself and fill in some of the blanks, share a bit about my life and its goings-on, outline the nuances of the world my jungle exists in, and maybe use this space to growl a little if needs be (or even purr if the mood takes me!). Whether fact or fantasy, I'll do my best to keep it interesting regardless!
I've had a few artworks of myself (and my mate) commissioned in the past - not adept personally in the visual arts - and will endeavour to publish them here for your enjoyment presently. My website - though neglected for an abominable stretch now - does contain a few of my older writings, and hopefully I'll be fairly swift to include them (and some more recent ones) here also.
Enough for now, as sleep is beginning to overtake me... a state not uncommon in cats, big or small! *yawn* Sleep well, one and all, and I'll chat again soon... :X)
(ps. The voice in my head says: Hey there! I'm the human part of AliCat, and every now and then I may seize the chance to interject between the tiger's ramblings. Yeah, we think alike often, but every now and then I might have something to say for myself. Anyway, nice to meet you too and catch you later!)
