After finishing my writing commission, I am reopening them for this year with some slight changes and with slots to take, first come first serve! Look at the information below!

• Every commission will be a Short Story. They have a base price of $40 up front. Every hundred words added after 1k words cost $5, and the word count can be set when the commission is offered with that total. Meaning if you want a 1,700 word story, that's $75 up front.

• The first draft will be presented upon completion. If the buyer wants scenes added, the price will be $5 for every hundred words added as a second payment. If the 1,600 word story becomes 2,100 after the scenes are added, then the price for those additions are $25.

• After the long process of my previous commission taking all year, I will be instilling a maximum word count of 4,000 words.

• The restrictions on what I won't write are scat, diapers, babyplay, cubs, rape/nonconsensual sex, (dubcon or roleplay is acceptable). Anything you're curious about being restricted or accepted, just ask.

Getting some attention lately thanks to  dannydukehazard and his gift art (thanks again, by the way). Now I have a handful of new watchers to address, one of which to my surprise being  tamatitheninetailedfox. Boy, I'm moving up in the world, sleeping with the right people.

WHERE YA BEEN?
But I'd first like to explain the radio silence. Nothing serious aside from work, occasionally having a creative block, getting a creative streak, and making some film work, which is my main passion. I have a YouTube channel for that stuff, by the way.

SO NOW WHAT?
I am reconsidering reopening the slots for writing commissions officially, so stay tuned for when I update the rates. Been wanting to get back into writing furry stuff for this page and others. This is a good opportunity to rush back into the groove, because for the past year or so, I've been working on stuff of my own. Short stories, film reviews for a website, setting up a blog, even planing to get work started on a novella, the loftiest of goals for a writer! The availability of that last one is up in the air, but I'd love to make it accessible for just about everyone at some point.

It's been another long while, but I'm getting back into the groove of working, writing and junk. Just never got much of the time or drive during my annual winter depression slump, but I won't let that stop me now. It's spring, sun's shining, birds chirping and life is getting easier, so expect more stories and other works to come out soon.

I even took the time to get started on a project I've been thinking about for a while. For the past few months or so, I was bouncing around the idea of doing film analysis videos of some sort, before deciding on a series that profiles lesser known or flatout obscure films. Last month, after several days of some taxing editing, which is some of the best I've done, the debut episode is now live and for you guys to watch.

I don't know if anyone cares or not, or if they're even on the site but I recently got an account to Letterboxd which is basically like Goodreads for movies. It's IMDb with a better interface and a more diverse and less insane public. You won't find much of anyone trying so hard to boost the ratings of their favorite movies, mainly because it's not as big and majorly available as IMDb, but you do get plenty of good insights from reviews and discussions from film lovers, film students, professors and critics alike.

Also as a brief update, at this moment I'm not occupied at all. I have plenty free time on me until the middle of October when I begin working again. The schedule will be a definite shift though as I won't be working a whole weekend every weekend, so that gives more time to work on things.

Right now, I'm both working on a quick short story to tide everyone over (hint: it's a return to Sherwood Forest), and I'm prepping for NaNoWriMo which I really hope I actually complete this time. This is gonna be a helluva challenge.

...and let me just say that after all that fucking hype, and people who just won't stop singing its praises, I won’t let Disney’s reputation cloud my judgement to any bias. This movie gets a truly, unadulterated, well-deserved

No, honestly. This is a great movie.

This is easily the smartest family movie since The Lego Movie, and Disney's most high quality work since Lilo & Stitch. It's very well-written, the animation is top-notch (as usual), the story was engaging, and surprisingly tense and dark. The voice acting was great, especially from Gennifer Goodwin as Judy. There’s one scene that she sold to the point where I was thinking the bunny should get an Oscar.

The messages and themes are the standout of the movie, although I think critics gave it too much cred for the prejudice message. From the way they talk about it, you'd think they were openly having literal Black Panthers marching in it, like in the comic Blacksad, but it was a heavy message, referencing profiling and microaggressions in a way that basically said "Hey, don't think like this." Subtle but head-on enough to draw familiarity and get the point they’re making.

The very little flaws I have just go towards often convoluted plot, mostly the big climax, which is pulled off well, but lacks, well, climax. I won't spoil it, but if you see it, and you totally should, you'll pick up on it.

To sum it up, Zootopia is one of the better animated movies in recent years. It's funny, heartwarming, deep, engaging and more clever than it lets on. It puts Disney back on the track it's been teetering around on for the past few years. It actually makes me mad at all these nakedly cynical kids movies coming out. (God, Trolls is going to be dogshit. Secret Lives of Pets too, that generic looking thing.)

Watch it. Watch it twice, like I just might. You’ll love it. I hope.

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to write stories of Judy and Nick fucking. Maybe Chief Bogo and Clawhauser. Or those two newscasters. Or Gazelle getting a train run on her by the tigers. Or some joke story about sloth sex.

I'm gonna make Zootopia porn, and you're gonna like it. That's the point.

I have my first workshop coming up in the morning. It's on how film can be used as a medium for activism, and its history as an activist platform.

Am I nervous? Hell yes. My main anxiety is being interesting for 45 minutes. That's quite the accomplishment to tackle when all I have prepared is flash cards with bullet points and no script.

I better sleep on this, and hopefully the fear washes over.
