Accidentally ended up putting my cintiq's pen in my satchel a few days back...and after continuing to grab the damn thing on accident, left it in my work locker.

I know not many people have noticed but I took a little hiatus to cope with some recent tragedies that I am still working on coping with.

Last week, October 21st, I lost my dog Bailey to some sort of neurological problem that we had no idea about. She started acting like she was in pain and after taking her to the vet, it was diagnosed as a lumbar muscle pull. She was prescribed some medication and issued to be on bed rest for a few weeks to heal. In one week, one stupid week, we had to end up putting her down because she went into such massive and violent seizures that they caused her to go blind. She was extremely anemic, and there was fluid building in her abdomen which both the emergency vet and her normal vet couldn't figure out what was going on. None of her symptoms were meshing together to give a solid answer, but seeing as she couldn't even drink water on her own without help, and after she went into such violent seizures that she began to choke on her tongue..it was insane.
The emergency vet said she was in a critical state when we got her in that her body was just shutting down, and that she was to be dosed with twice as much anti-seizure drugs that it wasn't even enough to keep her from going into them. So we just held onto her for hours on the floor of the emergency vet room and when I was ready, I gave the go ahead. I hung onto her until her last moment. She was a dog unlike any other I had ever had. Not only was she a cuddle bug, she was extremely attached to me and it made me feel good knowing someone was always excited to see me.
We decided to get her cremated and now her ashes reside above our heads on our headboard, so at least we and her pups are all together when we go to sleep. I am thankful I have two parts of her to help ease the pain, but we can't even squeeze one of her toys to hear the squeaker inside without bursting into tears. Bailey was only three years old. And she was too young, too vibrant and too good for this to have happened to her.

Exactly one week after losing her, I got into a car wreck. My wife was in the vehicle with me and because some fuck wad decided to do an illegal turn, he smashed into my driver side and totaled my Journey. we had pulled off the highway due to it getting backed up and decided to get back on a different way to avoid the traffic. The driver was crossing two lanes of left turn only for my northbound traffic when he gunned it and hit me as I was passing by. I had the right of way, and his neglect to see me coming resulted in the accident. He tried to tell the police that I was speeding, when I full well remember checking my speed at 35 MPH. I was coming up on a red light and was braking when he hit. And I didn't see him until the strike.

Luckily, the turn he was doing was illegal, for just reasons, and he was issued the ticket. Im still sore, and so is my wife, but we are unharmed. But holy hell...I was angry....I just lost my dog, and then I lost my car.

My dad was able to loan me his PT Cruiser (which as you know, I used to have one myself) under the condition I pay for the tires to be replaced. I got them replaced and now I am hoping this whole ordeal is a blessing in disguise to get me out of continuing to pay over $530 bucks a month in car payments.

Time will only tell.

It still lives. I thought a power outage fried the power supply but after leaving it alone for a long ass time, it booted back up without a problem.

I'm wondering if I should switch it as my main drawing computer, but with PS CC 2019 acting kinda laggy on it, I am not sure.

Had a medical emergency two weeks ago where an ambulance was called to my work to check out my heart and such and the week I got back, the HR group handed my boss a 24hr notice to get a drug screen done...He didn't give it to me till three days later...

So I was fired for 'involuntarily refusing a drug screen' for a medical purpose. A Medical purpose.




If anyone sees a purpose for my life, I would love for you to tell me.
