So much...
Posted 3 months agoWell now, as usual I waited for far too long to update on my life.
Still on HRT - Estradiol, Spiro and now also Progesterone. Slowly becoming my true self.
Some of my worries were .... justified. Had another come to pass that I hadn't even expected either - I had to say goodbye to Asta (my Mate of, at the time, nine years) and watch as she moved on so very quickly. Even now it is painful to look back ... made worse by what I now see without the lens of being Mates.
Finally in a proper house ... for how long, I do not know but I am so tired of moving around. so tired of places like this serving only as a taunt, a taste and then yanked away again ....
I just ...

Another Update
Posted 3 years agoBit late for a Mid Year update but still ... In three months time it will be a year since I started the HRT, correcting an imbalance I have had all of my life. In this time I have slowly opened back up to people and even more slowly started to get out a bit again (the Pandemic really fucked that up for me on top of my own issues). I've not been able to do much in the way of wardrobe addition/replacement since the last entry - outside of undergarments anyway. You can see some of the little I have acquired in my pictures and I do apologize that on one of two of these that you can clearly see the Estrodiol Patch I was using, I have since swapped back to pills and may well retake those images at a later time.
There's a lot more going on (some that I won't get into here): New friends, new additions to my Fur Family, more people I have grown incredibly close to, places I have explored in VR ... I sit here and smile at most of this with the tiniest tinge of sadness at a few events lately. a few shakeups as well that have me somewhat worried.
But as always, I keep on keeping on.
To all of those on here that know me beyond this page/site: Thank you for being here for me.

New Year
Posted 3 years agoSo - 32022! A lot has happened in the last year, not all of which I'll likely ever be laying out here but I felt it was time for another Journal/Update so ...
HRT is going very well, I am a lot happier than I've been in some time! To more readily reflect my real self I have been practicing the use of a more "neutral" vocal tone (so not quite Masculine yet not quite Feminine). The hardest part really is actually remembering to use the new tone, that has gotten easier though.
So far each of my friends and family (even immediate blood family) have been so very supportive of all of this, a few even going so far as to exclaim that it was about time this happened!
That's really it for now - I have no idea what this year holds but at the least I am going into it as ME.

Three Month Update
Posted 4 years agoSo, carrying on from my last Journal in August: Now on hormones to eventually have my physical body match who I really am. Blood Sugar management's going well as well.
Wardrobe expansion's reminded me why I don't often go clothes shopping to begin with - this's not been "cheap" by any means and has thus far only yielded warmer weather clothing with a few items that'll help a tiny bit for the colder weather coming. Colder weather clothing/outerwear? I'm finding that's even more expensive than the skirt, few tops, undergarments and leggings I have bought thus far!
I've gone through and updated the majority of my social media information to reflect what's transpired thus far and thankfully my closest friends and my family have been incredibly supportive and encouraging! I realize just how lucky that makes me and really wish more people had such support.

Lots going on

Lost an old and dear friend at the end of last year. My second love, someone I will miss dearly.
Was put on Blood Sugar regulating meds over the last year. That's been "fun".
After much thought I have come to a realization that has been a rather long time in the making: My body, presentation and such does not match who I really am. I am a Male leaning Androgyne - this means that going forward, I will be (and already started to) looking to expand my wardrobe to include things like skirts, crop tops and such while looking at my options for having my outward self match the inner self, in this case that will require an alteration to my upper half. I do have a Mate and - as I think I noted in my Bio - we are in an Open/Poly relationship. I've spent the time between 2012 and that last entry moving around, trying (and failing) to get into various things (streamer comes to mind) and only in the last three years or so managing to get out to a major Con (FWA 2018).
A friend/roomie is helping me get a reference sheet done to match my current self - so much has changed since some of you last saw/interacted with me (those from 2012 or so) that you'd likely have a WTF reaction on that now.
I do still RP and am slowly getting back into Multiplayer games again, focusing more on MMOs and such (ESO at the moment) though for the more social aspects your best bets for contacting me will be things like Telegram or Discord, perhaps Second Life.
Have a good one folks and don't be shy about poking me elsewhere ... I just need to know who you are when ya do poke as I do not generally answer/accept absolutely random messages/requests.

Posted 6 years agoGads I just realized that in all of the time since my last journal entry the only things I have done with my FA page have been minor information edits, contact information updates and (just now) a bio edit.
I see that much has changed with FA and am less than happy with at least one of these changes: The removal of a dedicated Name field that allows one to have an account name that is distinct from the name they go by or their "given" name.
A lot has changed since my last posted journal: I no longer live in Columbus - I am in Akron now - and Ami and I parted ways amicably. I've changed how I handle some information being put out there and as noted earlier I have cleaned up my Bio a fair bit.
I make no promises on this but I will attempt to keep my friends on here in the loop. Friends? My contact information is listed ya know!

Even those he has loved eventually fade away. Despite this, those he allows in close can see yet another side to him: Friendly to some, passionate to those that have touched his heart. He holds dear, the loyalties he has formed with his friends and those closer - often going so far as to befriend people who do not get along with each other and acting as a kind of mediator when they are near each other. He does not pass judgment easily on those he has met - the few whom he views as truly bad/foul/evil have always done something to truly merit such treatment, because of this he can be friendly to those others may not wish him to be around.
Being a Folf primarily, he is capable of loving more than one person and this often makes for trouble for him. He will gladly suffer this trouble as long as he is able to - no matter what the parties involved want him to do. This is another reason for the loneliness he often feels as in the end, few can bear to subject themselves to the notion that he is capable of loving more than one person.
His desires can often get the better of him, causing yet more trouble as he does not care what one's morals are - as long as they do not conflict too greatly with his own.

Posted 13 years agoDo you miss the pre-1.8 terrain generation? Want to have Skylands in SSP?
There's a stand alone "mod" for that.
More World Types v 1.5 by kurtss.
Downloaded and tested with the "gargamel" seed.
Genuine 1.7.3 era terrain with the 1.0+ era biomes.
Install as you would a non-modloader mod, make a new world, go into seed/generator screen and select "Beta", then either enter a seed or leave blank.

Random thoughts, New Year's and beyond.
Posted 13 years agoI am not one to write journals, fill out surveys, respond to memes or any of that. I write up a journal if I have something to say, if I need to clear my mind of thoughts, if I found something truly noteworthy ....
Needless to say, some of them never even see the light of day as I erase them before ever posting them.
This time however ....
We'll start with New Year's Eve: I am looking forward to it. Quite a great deal ... and it isn't just because I'll be spending it with furry friends and those I hold dear. Yes, that's an important reason .... However what I am about to say will make me sound like the most selfish Folf in the world .... and frankly, I don't give a damn.
I'll be able to get out of the house and actually do something FUN. The fur meets I have been to so far (few and far between) and Casey's party ... Those were all things I jumped at for the same reason, not just meeting new furs.
I don't get out much - be it by choice or by design (it varies depending on the situation). As a result, I end up getting very cranky, confrontational ... I generally turn into a first rate asshole until I either get out and do something fun ... or have a bit of "fun" here (if you catch my meaning).
I look forward to the next year and view it as a chance to correct some of this ... as well as to correct my own shortcomings - believe me, they are many and have either cost me a great deal or have ended up harming my friendships (and more) in ways that I may never be able to fix.
But -allows a small smile to grace his gray furred muzzle- I will still try.
With that bit out of the way ....
Why does this happen?
Boredom, combined with the stress of raising a kit and a few issues I will not bother to air here (psychological, that is all you need to know).
I used to be able to vent most of it out in various ways. Indeed, I suppose one could say that some of those methods of venting or otherwise relaxing led up to my current state of boredom.
You see. I am a gamer, a Role Player, a writer, an amateur poet .... I play WoW to vent off aggression.
I used to Role Play as both a way to vent off most everything else and to give me a way to write what came to my mind.
These days? That vent is all but closed off. All I can do is sit around and let my muse taunt me with new ideas.
My poetry? Blocked up. By what, I don't know. I have so much I want to write ... and cannot.
I have a Second Life account and use it to help me visualize my character ideas, perhaps even finding the right setting for them before snapping a shot and moving on.
My old haven for text RP may as well be dead as a Dodo - It went to the shitter years ago and the last person I RPed with hasn't even been on ... let alone interested in such things anymore.
Second Life? F-List? Other venues? Don't make me laugh!
I have found ONE place in SL that manages to provide a modicum of relief.
But even THAT has its restrictions!
-sighs heavily and just flops down- Yes, I have a lot to work on in the future and I am by NO MEANS trying to excuse myself with this ranting post ....
I just .... wish I had an outlet again. I tried looking again tonight ... to no avail as there aren't many places which can be called "free form" anymore. Add to it, the fact that so few seem to be interested AT ALL unless the ENTIRE plot consists of the characters finding new and creative ways to screw their brains out!
I'm not opposed to XXX play .... But to make that the entire "plot"?!
Ah well ... I'll end here and wish everyone a Happy Yule as well as a Happy New Year. You're not likely to see another journal from me prior to 2012.
I wish you all luck in sorting out your own shortcomings and personal failures.

King's Island fur meet.
Posted 14 years agoThe King's Island meet was my first met and I gotta say .... I loved it. Met a lot of furs, had some fun, got my arms burnt pretty good, met some new friends -grins-.
