I've got a fair amount of debt starting to pIle up that I can't quite handle. Mostly medical and car. Now on top of that I had and car accident this evening that might put me further in the hole.

Like, I feel like no one cares about writing and stories compared to artwork. Really grates on me. Like, this is my talent, but it goes unwanted and unappreciated because people don't like to read?

If I wrote a story, and it took me 2-3 hours, it would get far less attention than a picture that takes the same amount of time to draw.

Anyone else a fan of this genre? Games like the Final Fantasy series, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Warrior, etc.

I'm thinking of investing in RPG Maker and making my own JRPG game. I'm not entirely sure if this is something I should pursue, since it costs a good amount (Like $70-80 base) and I don't want to spend that much money on a whim.
