Life update
Posted 4 years agoSo it's only been 10 years since I updated this thing and to be honest, not much has happened.
I got fit, met a wonderful woman, sprained my ankle, gave up running, got fat, bought a house, got married, grew a beard, swapped job roles, had a kid, got a bit fitter and older.
Now I'm just enjoying life. Friends have come and gone over the years, but I'm thankful for everyone in it.

At the hotel, or the bar, or hunting for food, or running.

The Sydfurs, the ex-Sydfurs, fun peeps I've met previously ^^
Who are you hoping to meet?
All the peeps I haven't seen for aaaaages and meet some new, interesting people too.
What time do you get up/go to bed?
Get up early, bed late. 6-2-1 rule........ 6 is sooo overrated.
What's the best way to get a hold of you?
Heliograph. Mobile, if you need it, you've already got it. Or maybe not, I've changed numbers recently, so ask me ^^. Randomly ask people. Yell out "Free Scotch".
Do you do free art?
I am REALLY not a fan of this concept, people take advantage of artists that do this. I'll do fan art/requests for people who make a positive impact on the community, but not for random people running around going "Draw my brown fox". Anyways, back down off my soapbox.
Do you do trades?
I have been known to on occasions. Friends only usually. Otherwise if you pour a LOT of booze into me, and convince me it a good idea, that's your best chance. WARNING I'm a very, VERY slow artist and will drink you under the table, attempt this at your own risk ^^
Are you selling anything at MiDFur?
Nope, no one would buy my rubbish.
What do you look like?
I'm a short-arse, fairly scrawny, glasses and shaggy blonde hair. I haven't got a conbadge yet because I've only been in the fandom for 7 years but you should be able to spot me scurrying about, pulling peoples legs.
Do you have a fursuit?
Nope.
Hugs?
If I know you then probably. If I don't, then don't be offended if I say no.
Can I talk to you?
Of course, at anytime ^^. I'm friendly but pretty shy.
Can I look in your sketchbook?
Sure, but you'll have to ask me, I don't flash it around.

I'll keep this quick:-
I've been focusing on other things this year mainly my running.
Tomorrow I'll start going through the hundreds of deviations and journals etc.

3 Months Later....and my epic FAP.
Posted 17 years agoHello peeps, well FA is back up and running and so am I!!!
A very strange thing happened to me a month and a bit ago. I got home from work, sat down, and went 'Jesus fecking christ I need to draw'. But unlike other times, it hasn't left just as fast. After a three year absence THE MOJO"S BACK BABY YEAH! With the return of the urge, so has inspiration. Ideas have been pouring out of me faster than I can get them down on paper. Ever since I've been sketching like back in '04, nothing good but plenty of it. Some of it will be polished up with a bit of luck. So yeah, artist block can go bite my arse!
The 'actual' running has been going ok too. The City2Surf is on Sunday and I'm pumped! Pumped but not ready. Woo
ENIGMA'S EPIC FAN ARTZ PROJECT
I've been in the fandom for 6ish years and have met an absolutely great group of peoples. There's also another group of people who I haven't met, but have influenced me through their art, comments, general existence etc. There's people who need to be thanked for the enjoyment they've added to my life for organising events, having a chat, making me laugh, making me cringe :P, everything. Furs who sacrifice a small portion of their enjoyment to the benefit of the community. I get annoyed because I can't put my thoughts into words here, I've been trying to say this for awhile. The furs who organise meets, run forums, host websites, draw artz, transport peeps, help out at events, or generally put something back instead of just constantly taking, earn major respect from me. So I've made a list and am drawing fan arts to show my appreciation to these people who, in varying ways, have made the fandom a better place.
Currently there are 52 names on the list, which will be done in randomerical order, with the peeps I've promised stuff for, up first ^^

Posted 17 years agoG'day guys and gals (wait....theres no wimmins on the internet)
Thought it was about time I updated this thing, it's been a couple of months. Sorry to ya'll for the complete lack of replies, comments and activity, the interwebs has been a bit too much for me to handle of late.
I haven’t been real good the last few months and I can't work out why. Most days I have no energy or motivation to do anything, chronic apathy. By the time I get home, I crash out on the lounge and watch a movie. These are mixed up with the occasional day of manic activity, where I'm practically bouncing off the walls. One good thing is that I've been sleeping normally now.
But today's one of the good days so I'm going to be making hay whilst the sun shines, so to speak.
In the last two weeks work has improved from 'hate' to 'dislike'. Sitting in my top draw is my letter of resignation and an application for a Canadian working visa. Unfortunately I lack the sufficient balls to hand them both in. My best mate has said iron balls, and is over there right now, touring around and living out of the back of a Dodge getaway van. We’ll see how my plans go in November before I make up my mind. I’ve been watching too much of Ewan McGreggor’s ‘Long Way Round’ and ‘Long Way Down’ and badly want to do something similar. I’ve been toying with the idea of hitch-hiking my way down to Midfur later this year, just to make it an interesting trip.
Training has been sporadic at best, with the weather being a convenient excuse. I’ve been maintaining but not doing enough sessions. The first event (8km) is in a couple of weeks (eep) so I’d better get back into it eh. I don’t think I’ll be doing the half marathon in October lol.

Welcome to my new art dump. This will be the place for all my old artwork, and as I do it, the new stuff too. Its not too bad to have somewhere to put the more adult stuff, but I still prefer dA. Oh wells, it was about time I shut down my old Yahoo group which I'd been using as my dumping ground.
