Hello! It's been a long time since I made a journal! I don't have a lot to say, I have been working through some rough things but I think things are going up from here~ I've been kinda reclusive too so I am going to try and be a bit more outgoing, and more proactive in responding to comments, and things like that! I hope things are looking bright for you too if you are reading this :3 (or even if you aren't!)

Some (but not all) of this has been said before, but I think this is a bit more of an organized explanation~

The differences between anthro bliz and feral bliz aren’t just physical. It would be most accurate to say anthro bliz is more suited towards physical activity and general magic, while feral bliz is better at ‘focused’ magic.

Anthro bliz doesn’t have very good endurance but can sprint very quickly, and is decently strong. They have good magic skill and cast magic by writing symbols in the air with their paw. They don’t really have any restrictions, aside from the fact that they need to be able to write the symbols. They could probably cast a spell anyway without the symbol by concentrating really hard, but it would give them a headache and wouldn’t work for very powerful spells. Switching forms, however, is the only non-weak spell that anthro bliz does not need a symbol to cast.

Feral bliz has pretty much no physical skills, not only due to having a feral body, but also from being very fat. However, bliz's magical skill is heightened a bit while in feral form - not only is their magic slightly more powerful but they also can form the symbol in the air by just thinking, and it won't give them a headache like it would in anthro form. If a spell is very powerful, they may have to use a surface and paws for support, but they still wouldn't have to write - they would place their paws against a surface and focus, and a symbol would appear on the surface nearby, ready for spell use. Unfortunately, feral bliz also has a lot of restrictions on magic. To use any magic that isn't extremely weak, feral bliz has to be upright and have a clear mind (or focus for hours and hours). For example (keeping in mind that switching forms counts as a moderately powerful spell), feral bliz can't switch forms here ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8561529/ ) because they are on their back and can't flip over, nor can they switch here ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9023801/ ) because their mind is focused on wanting to eat the cookies. Because of those restrictions, combined with their physique, doing something like dragging bliz on their back by the footpaws ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8485258/ ) is a pretty easy way to make them helpless.

Bliz is typically in anthro form when studying magic (such as reading books, trying out new spells that aren’t particularly powerful) and in feral form when experimenting with magic (casting new, powerful spells or modifying existing spells in ways that may make them more powerful).

*bonusfact* Bliz really loves food and overeats regardless of form - anthro bliz just has the metabolism to avoid getting fat from it (and feral bliz doesn’t). Bliz found a weight loss spell at one point that helped out in feral form in the past, but it lost its effect after repeated use; now bliz has resigned themself to just being fat as a feral, and has started using it to their advantage by being a comfy pillow for friends.

I am curious, when it comes to gender-neutral pronouns (like singular they, s/he, hir, etc.), which ones are you most familiar with or comfortable using? Are there any you particularly dislike? What do you use when referring to someone/something of a gender you don't know?

I have had some thoughts going about my head for awhile about my character, bliz, so I thought I would write down a few. Someone then encouraged me to post them on FA. Here are some things you may not know about bliz (though things are always subject to change):

- Bliz calls himself a bunny but he's actually a bunny/canine hybrid who is primarily bunny. There's a few ways this shows, such as his canine-like face (no bunny nose or whiskers) and feral bliz being the size of a large dog rather than the size of a bunny.

- Bliz's normal form is anthro but can shift between anthro and feral at will - they are the same character. However, they have some notable physical differences. For example, while anthro bliz is male, feral bliz is actually genderless; he still calls himself male for simplicity, but calling him female would be equally accurate and he doesn't mind.

- Bliz is an omnivore and his favorite food is pizza. He also really loves sweets, especially cake. He eats often, and bliz's metabolism is significantly lower when in feral form, which is why feral bliz is fat and anthro bliz isn't. He doesn't particularly mind this since it makes him pillow-like and he loves cuddling with people.

- Bliz knows a small amount of magic, but hasn't studied it in detail so his knowledge of spells is rather limited. He is capable of researching more spells if he puts his mind to it, but he rarely ever does. Bliz's method of spellcasting is writing a symbol in the air with his paw, said symbol matching a particular spell, which will then cast the spell. He also knows how to write scrolls; these can be inscribed with a symbol of a spell that bliz already knows and then given to another person, who can then use the scroll in order to cast the spell once, regardless of that person's magical knowledge. Some example spells that bliz knows are the ability to make snow shoot outwards from his paw, similar to how a snowblower shoots snow, and an anti-magic spell that can temporarily disable someone's ability to use magic.

I have been having a lot of fun working on mutations (custom gamemodes) for L4D2. I'm considering making a post on the DC forums that includes information on all of the DC mutations (so far just mine, tai's and jason's), a download link, and how to host games to play them with each other, and also allow DCers to request mutations if they have an idea for a gamemode but don't know how to make it.

Would anyone be interested or should I not bother?

1) You get points for how happy you are when you go to sleep.

2) It's not a competition. Just try to get as many points as you can.

3) Bonus points for giving other people points!

So if you know me, there's a good chance you know  taikamiya. And if you know Tai, you probably know about his journal (this one: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2233912/ ). I didn't think I'd be the type of person to do it but after some talking with Tai he's convinced me. You can ask me whatever you'll want and I'll give an honest answer (but if it's something I think is too embarassing or something such as that, I'm not replying to this journal; I'll tell you the answer via other means).

I have a new group of friends (DC) so I figure this is a good opportunity for them to get to know me better! And non-DC people too.

I guess I will write my first journal about what happened today.

So, I went to the clinic today to get some medicine or something since I've been really sick lately. They said I probably had the flu and gave me a few medicines to take. I got home and started taking medicine, only to notice this on one of the boxes:

"Take 1 or 2 pills"

1 or 2? Is it whichever I feel like? Should I flip a coin? Ask my magic 8 ball? I don't know. (I took 1)

Also my nasal spray smells like flowers. It was a pleasant surprise.
