Hey everyone,
I'm very excited to announce that I will be known going forward under the artist name SparrowCry!
I'm in the process of moving my stuff over to my new FA account  SparrowCry, so please excuse the lack of content over there! This account will remain open, but it was not working for me per say for my artist name and not that memorable. bluephoenix387 was what I created on DA, and didn't really open myself up as a furry artist. Now that things are changing and I'm gaining more confidence to offer my art to the world, I wanted a new name, hence, new account!

I'm lacking a lot of content on there, and that's due to time loss! I'm super busy at work with our move and downsizing that I am exhausted when I get home. I'm also knee deep in prepping for Furnal Equinox! I don't know why I stress myself out over things, but that happens.

So I hope you will join me at my new site as this one may be a lot more quite and more activity is going to be happening there!

I forgot how happy I feel after buying more of my favourite markers! They cost more than three bucks each, but this is a late Christmas present I bought for myself. I haven't bought art supplies in awhile. I'm preparing for Furnal as I will be getting a vendor table this year hopefully.

FE's theme is Arcade this year, but I hope it extends to other forms of video games as the classics of NES and SNES and other home consoles were not necessarily arcade by first thought. I'm also considering XBox360 arcade games in the mix. Lol my husband will be coming with me and he wants a Castle Crashers badge. :) I'm super excited for this year!!

Last year I went alone to absorb it all in and just take time for myself. While I fully intend to do that this year, and I did meet some wonderful new people, I'll have company this time to share the fun with.

I'll also be changing my fur name soon as this one isn't really working for me anymore, what with my fursona not even being a phoenix. *lol* but more on that soon.

My gallbladder surgery went well, but something I didn't celebrate over, just an icky thing to do to stop other icky pains. Thanks for well wishes!

Worth it in the end to not stay up all night in pain a lot of times.

It's drawing and seeing great furry art. My life is not a picnic right now, one could say it is a challenge to function. Frig, I only know I get through because if Him, but there are moments I don't know how I do it.
I hate mobile internet. That's all I have and it stinks. Using one finger to type when I can keyboard 100 words a minute should speak volumes of my pain and hatred of auto correct/fill. I have no real solution either , it has been this way for awhile and has to be until the unforeseen future. Boo!
What a wet blanket I am in this post!

Hello!
I'm back for a moment in my journey into the wilderness. My internet situation is not desirable by most, but at least I have some opportunities to still lurk and will be posting opportunities for commissions and new art. Hopefully soon, but I'm not sure. I am good though for doing deals, but the posting of things may take some time. *sigh*

I have finished some new pieces, including some with a hedgehog, a jackal and various furry femmes. Some originals may be up for grabs on furbuy soon. I'm looking to get started taking commissions via PayPal.
If I can ever figure it out properly for accepting payments.

I got my husky head and I love it, however we'll only be together for a short time, not sure when I'll be letting go, but eventually.

I hope everyone is safe and happy. That bit of knowledge would be comforting. My life has been turned inside out, but hey, "just keep swimming" or in Snowy's case, just keep flying.

I thought I would never own at such a beautiful fursuit head for a decent price (fursuit wise). This reminds me of Beetlecat's work level (who's stuff I ADORE, but can never afford). I love it so much and I don't even have it in my hands yet. I've never really had a fursuit enchant me as this one. I don't even have any husky characters! See what I mean though by it's impossible to have a single fursona! I have characters! This guy's character will come out in time.

The reason I wanted him so badly is, 1) I wanted a semi-realistic/toony looking dog fursuit head that was slightly gruff/angry looking, but could be sweet and 2) I want a dog fursuit for my Mom's last day of work.

So, number 1 was granted! He's absolutely goregous! I've never, ever seen a fursuit head with resin eyes that look like this for a husky! It's brilliant how well suited they are and capture the husky intense stare. And oh do I need that stare!

Main reason I want this (2), is because I want to be my mother's guard dog on the last day she will ever be working before she retires. I want that day to be one of the best days of her life! Most don't know my Mom and how amazing she is. She is one of the kindest, sweetest and generous people I know! When it comes to her work journey, none of it has been spared her dedication and strong work ethic. I know that's where I get my own from. She's one of the hardest working people I know and courteous no matter how awful some customers can be. I want her to enjoy her more than deserved retirement send off!

In the past, my mother has dressed up in costume for her family members on special occasions. Best example is she dressed up as a knight for my aunt's 40th birthday and spent the day at her office to welcome her to the "middle ages". My aunt didn't know it was her.

So, for the last day of my mom's career, I want to guard her as her own personal body guard. No one will bother her! No customers shall snarl at her, or I will! Hence the need for a badass face! I will dress up in a black suit, done some sun glasses at first, and be in full partial suit (mask, tail, hands, paws **maybe, I may opt for mens footwear). I will follow her everywhere. I also intend to get some more people in on this at her store to present her with some highlights of her awesomeness and I will throw her the biggest bash ever! She works in a large open retail store and the owners know me so they'll be cool with this, and I'm going to set it all up in advance with them to get permission. This fursuit won't scare any kids. :P

If any of you have any awesome ideas simple or large I could do that day or for celebrating retirement please let me know!

I'm not sure if she will know it is me, but I am not going to talk, but I will try my absolute BEST not to let on. .

This mask is perfect for what I need in June, as I have plans to guard my mom on the last day of her work life. Those eyes pierce and transfix you so much and the mouth moving is a bonus. Perfect guard dog! :)

Last night was not fun! I spent several hours in the emergency room after accidentally ingesting peanut oil on some baked sunflower seeds.
Lesson learned, I will now check the label of everything I eat!!!
