List of Changes

With preparing to return I have made a few changed to my account, these include the following:
1. 2016 & 2017 Galleries have been removed and 2018-2021 has been fully reorganized. Any adoptables that were not sold from those years have been retired and deleted. You can now only see my older work on my legacy account, which will soon be delinked from the main page. It will only serve as an archive for myself going forward.
2. I will be rewriting my TOS and it will be linked to every post as well as posted on my main page going forward. I have decided that its time that I define what I will and will not do, and I will start strictly enforcing the TOS once it is posted. Please be on the lookout for this change if you are interested in commissioning me in the future.
3. I will be reworking my trello so that it is less scattered and makes more sense to both you and me. Currently, it's a bit all over the place and there are some outdated projects and it has not been updated in a LONG time. I plan on updating all projects progress soon with pictures if possible then starting to use it to keep track of things again.
4. I plan to go back soon and re-do a lot of my YCH examples as well as post those that never got posted. I have an unknown number of purchased YCH bases that I just never got around to posting for whatever reason, so be on the lookout for new YCHs.
5. Finally I MAY make new mascot characters for this account since my general aesthetic has pivoted since I started making adoptable here. I am still deciding on this currently, but if I do I will likely be selling Aster and Astrid as a pair, so be on the look out for that if they were characters you liked. They would of course come with all of the art I have used as YCH examples without the price over them. I don't know what I would price them at right now but I will let you all know what I decide.

Posted 5 years agoSo after my last journal, I kinda went on a three-month hiatus for all commissions.
I took some time off from base art and just learned a bit about my personal style.
And over this time I've realized that I can do a lot more than I thought I could.
I've been in such a rut for the last few months that I convinced myself that I was not as good as I really was.
I've been trying to go easier on myself and give myself some more personal projects where I can really shine.
I really feel like this has helped my mentality about my art.
With this said, I also really want to get back to making art for you all.
Last year I stopped making art midway through the year for you all and never really picked it back up consistently.
And for that I'm sorry.
Starting today I'm going to try to be more active here again and do better to fill commission orders.
The change may be slow at first. I'm still trying to work without my old tablet and I'm still not in the best home environment.
But I can't just sit around and do nothing until I move again. I've got to practice.

Posted 6 years agoI'm sorry for the lack of new commission types and adoptables lately.
I've been very burnt out ever since I moved into this new apartment.
My living situation is not exactly great right now.
Mentally I'm in the worst state of my life, I'm not going to lie to ya'll it's pretty bad.
I'm on anxiety meds for it but Idk if it's really helping right now.
Plus the tablet that I used with the computer went out a while back so my only way of doing commissions right now is to send them to my iPad and do them there.
It's not exactly a great way to do commissions because some bases don't even open on the iPad which leaves me to do some of the work on both systems.
Its just...alot right now.
And I'm really sorry I've been so inactive these last few months.
I've been more depressed now than I've ever been in my entire life.
I may take a hiatus once I finish the two commissions I have left.
Idk how long it will be or if I will even come back this year.
But something has to change soon or it'll break me.
I'm working on getting another job outside the home to get me out of the toxicity of the living situation I'm in.
Being here 24/7 has become bad for my mental health.
But it also means I'll have less time for commissions because I'll be working two jobs.
Idk what to do anymore. No move seems like the right move. I'm just so burnt out. And tired. And stressed.

Posted 6 years agoWhat A Stroke of luck yall.
Bad luck that is.
I just fixed my god damn tablet and now the pen is broken.
It literally snapped in half in my hand this morning.
Ugh.
So they are $60 and now I need a new one before I can continue commissions.
WHY CANT ART SUPPLIES BE MORE DURABLE DAMN IT.
Excuse me while I cry $60 tears.
I'm going to try to get enough commissions today to go buy one tonight and then come home and do commissions all day tomorrow. ;;
I still have lots of adoptables and YCHs for sale if anyone wants to help.
