Hoof, hi hello, I'm alive.
Posted 4 years agoSo yeah, I'm alive. I'm more active on twitter than here. I've got some WIPS and whatnot on there. It's been a hell of a year. Health issues (non-life threatening, more quality of life issue), expresso depresso, social seclusion from anxiety, power and computer issues. It's been a wild ride.
After getting insurance and getting back on my meds, I'm starting to feel better and more myself. I'm regularly seeing a specialist PT for my health related issue. It's not life threatening or anything, just effects my mobility and self esteem, but progress is going much better than any of us expected and I'm excited to see where I will be in a couple of months. I'm slowly becoming more social again and enjoying being around people. My friends, I missed you guys. I love you and I'm back. ♥
Now down to the art. I've done a few things here and there that are incomplete, depression hasn't really given me the drive of creativity. That coupled with our power issues and recent computer problems, I haven't wanted to test the limits of what I'm capable of doing. When Tropical Storm Elsa came through earlier this year, it shorted something out on our circuit and we started having daily, almost hourly breaker trips in our rooms. For the longest time we couldn't figure out what was causing it. It's starting to look like it might have been our network gateway. We recently just had our equipment upgraded and have not had a single issue since. The last trip we had took out one of my hard drives. I started crashing and getting a super long windows loading time after restarts. We thought it was my motherboard or PSU, so we replaced them. Nope, not that. The hard drive was failing so I frustratingly backed up the data I had on it on one of my newest hard drives, which was a pain because the damn thing would fall in and out of recognition. But I managed and ripped the damn thing out of my system. She's been purring ever since.
So, where does this leave me now? I've got a few in the works YCHs that I've had some pretty good reactions from friends on the WIPs. I'm excited to show you all them soon. I've got some minor background details to finish up. I've got some personal projects I've been working on here and there. I'll probably do a few rounds of YCHs and slowly start releasing limited slot commissions.
What kind of YCH content would you all be interested in seeing? So far I have a SFW pokemon half body YCH and a shibari themed set just needing final touches.
When can you all expect these? Ehhh, soon ™. I'm still cautious about our power, nothing kills my drive more than losing progression on a piece because of a breaker flip. So far it's been good but I don't want to jump right in and fuck myself over. That annnnd, Endwalker comes out next month and I won't be working on anything until I finish the MSQ. >.>
As mentioned before, you can find me more active on Twitter. Any kind of WIPs and progress you'll find there, along with my incoherent ramblings about GPOSERS, FFXIV and other random things I'm excited about. Short form updates will show up there as well.

Summer update
Posted 6 years ago Well that wasn't intended. I'm still working on my prices and I have a few personal projects I'm in the middle of hashing out. Hopefully you'll all see those soon!
Just running in to delays lately. I haven't had much time to think let alone sit down and draw. Hubby's family has come to visit from out of country and will be here until a few days after my birthday. We've been out spending time with them. Hopefully I'll get some time this week to sit down and work on some things.

I will be opening in-stream commissions at a roughly 25% discount on full bodies, half bodies, and busts. In-streams will be wing-it style commissions. Streams will be Saturdays starting 7PM EST/6PM CST.
Life Update:
I passed my exam! I am officially credentialed! While job searching, I've decided to open commissions for the time being to help bring in a little bit of cash flow to help with family finances.
My current goal is to help supplement the money we just had to spend on a new set of tires. Around $400. On top of that expense, my husband's family from out of country will be visiting mid-July. It'd be nice to have some extra spending money while being out and about with them.

~ What I will draw (What I am comfortable with) ~
* Anthro
* Wings
* Simple clothing
* Artistic nudity
~ What I might draw (Little experience/can not assure outcome) ~
* Humans
* Feral
* Large/overweight/super muscular characters
* Complex outfits
* Weapons/Military
* NSFW/sexual themes
* Some fetishes (Bondage, BDSM, impact play)
* Fan characters (Pokemon/Digimon/Trademark parody characters ect)
~ What I WILL NOT draw ~
* Extreme fetishes (scat, watersports, inflation, feralXanthro, cub, hyper/macro, torture, diapers, tentacle)
* Gore
* Offensive topics (racism, political, religion, hate)
* Registered trademark characters
~ Payment ~
* All prices are USD.
* Paypal is the only accepted form of payment.
* A paypal assigned email is required to receive an invoice for your commission.
* Once an invoice has been sent, you will have 24 hours to pay.
* Payment is due upfront unless stated otherwise during correspondence.
* Payment plans are available for standard commissions totaling $150 or more on a weekly or biweekly basis.
* Artwork will not be started until payment due is completely received.
~ Contact ~
* FA notes are the preferred method of contact. Contact may also be made through Discord or Twitter.
* Reasonable communication is required. If unforeseen circumstances prevent the timely completion of your commission, I will contact you as soon as possible.
* Unreasonable communication, lack of communication, and harassment on the commissioner's part may result in a cancellation of the commission. (SEE REFUNDS BELOW)
~ Services ~
* You must be 18 years of age or older to order a commission.
* NSFW/Nude multi-character pieces and single character gifts MUST have the secondary party's explicit permission for their use of character.
* I reserve the right to accept or decline any commission as I may see fit. If I am not confident in my abilities to complete the commission to the best of my abilities, the commission may be declined.
* You must have a visual representation of your character via reference. Completed artworks may be accepted if they are accurate to your character and are flat colors. Shaded works of art are not accepted due to the lack of accuracy in color representation.
* Text descriptions may be accepted with a "mood board" style reference including a color pallet and will incur a convenience fee. Text descriptions must also be relevant to the appearance of the character. History, personality quirks, and role-play logs are not accepted.
* All information regarding your commission must be discussed prior to any work being accepted. This is to ensure all details desired from the commissioner are present in the commission.
* You will receive a sketch WIP for approval with half-body and full-body commissions. Following WIPs will be available at the request of the commissioner. However, additional WIPs are for the sole purpose of demonstrating the progress of the piece, not for approval purposes.
* Commissions may be streamed through Picarto.tv or Twitch.tv. If you wish for your commission not to be streamed, please indicate this in your commission correspondence.
* Resolution is dependent on the elements of the commission. Max resolution is 4000x4000.
* Upon completion, you will receive a watermarked version for public uploads and an unwatermarked version for your personal use.
~ Alterations / Edits / Changes ~
* Once the sketch has been approved, you are allowed two alterations within the lining/inking phase.
* Alterations will incur no fee if it is an element discussed prior that I have misunderstood or neglected to include in the finished commission.
* Alterations within the color and shading phases may incur a convenience fee depending on the complexity of the request.
* Character, pose, or theme changes may be accepted if the piece has not been started or prior to the sketch approval.
* You may not alter or edit the commissioned work without prior approval. This includes: coloring sketches or line commissions, adding to the completed work, or completing unfinished/canceled work - by other artists or the commissioner themselves.
~ Refunds ~
* Promotional artwork (fixed commissions for a reason/sales/YCHs) are not eligible for refunds unless determined by the artist.
* Full refunds on standard commissions will only be issued if work on the piece has not began.
* Partial refunds on standard commissions may be available under certain circumstances, only after being discussed with the commissioner.
* Refund amounts on commissions canceled by the artist will be at the artist's discretion depending on the amount of time spent on the commission and the reason for the cancellation.
* If you are entirely unhappy with your piece, please contact me for a resolution before issuing a request for a refund. I am not unreasonable and will try to accommodate the needs of the commissioner.
* Commissioners who force a refund through PayPal’s chargeback system without communication will be blacklisted from commissioning the artist in the future.
~ Rights ~
* I, the artist, retain the rights to the completed artwork. Including the rights of: printing, editing, and advertisement.
* You, the commissioner, retain the rights to your character. Artwork of your character will never be redistributed or resold for ownership of another person.
* The artwork of your character may be used in promotional advertisements towards the artist.
* The artwork created will be uploaded to the artist’s galleries and social media. You may choose to remain anonymous within the post. Private commissions may be considered but may incur a privacy fee depending on the circumstances.
* You may reupload unaltered versions of your completed artwork to your own gallery given the appropriate credit for the artwork is provided.
* You may not remove the artist signature or watermark when uploading the artwork to galleries, social media or other programs that will display artwork.
* You may crop artwork for the use of icons/profile pictures as long as no further alteration is done.
* You may not print, resell, edit, or use the artwork for commercial means unless discussed prior with the artist.
* You may not resell the artwork for more than the price paid for the initial commission.
~ Privacy ~
* Your personal and billing information will never be used by the artist outside of the intended purposes of billing and financial requirements. Your information will never be sold or disclosed to third-party entities.
These terms may adapt and be changed at any time to fit the needs of the artist

Updates
Posted 6 years ago I'm alive and going through the motions. Artwork is going to be a little slow in the next couple of weeks. I go in for my certification exam on the 6th for my RHIT cert. Fingers crossed! But, this means I need to put away all the fun things like drawing and gaming as I study crunch in these final days.
I have a few sketches lined up and ideas I want to play with all ready and waiting for when I'm done!
Also, starting after the 6th, 
mandapandalov3 and I will be doing weekly Saturday streams. We're working on time frames and schedules currently but they will more than likely start around 6-7 EST every Saturday. Stay tuned for freebie announcements and chances for in stream commissions!
After everything is settled and I've sat for the exam, I will probably start opening some PWYW wing-its with a minimum of $10. Money is a little tight at the moment so anything I can try to do would really help us out.

Posted 6 years agoSo, after years of off and on drawing and being incredibly unsatisfied with my work, I've finally decided to buckle down and focus on practicing and improving. With the help and guidance of some really awesome friends, I'm in a place where I'm actually proud of the work I'm producing. It's not perfect, but it's better than anything I've ever done before. I'm starting to understand techniques and building my own skills. It's exciting!
If you have any tips of the trade you like to share, please! Share! I love hearing how other people have successfully improved their skills.

* Commissions
I'm just not at a point where I'm comfortable taking commissions. My turn around time is very slow and I don't think my art is to the level worthy of money. When I get a little more comfortable and if there is interest, I may reconsider in the future.
* Trades and requests
I do take them on my own terms. It depends on the character and how comfortable I am with the complexity. But, like commissions, my turnaround time on this is long. I can't promise how long a wait will be. I like a challenge, though! Having a pool of characters to draw that are not my own helps me practice. I guess just toss me a note and we can discuss it if you're interested in something!
