So I am offering a temporary 25% sale on my Comic commissions to celebrate finally figuring out cell shading.

$10 per partial body panel (up to two characters) +5 for shading +5 per extra character (3 and up)

Hey guys,

So I am feeling a little discouraged with the Patreon thing. I was really excited to see my monthly pledges increase so suddenly but after payments went through this month and it appears I only have a couple of real pledgers and I am feeling a little discouraged.
It seems a lot of the people that have pledged 30$ a month are empty accounts with fake payment information (I had my suspicions after seeing that for some reason people were only going for the most expensive tier).

On paper it seemed I had reached my goal for 2 pages a month but now its looking like I may be no where close.
I am considering dropping these apparent fake accounts but I was interested in your feedback, has anyone out there have much experience with Patreon and have you noticed this as a thing? Are these probably fake accounts (with no information in their accounts and following only me) or was there some sort of glitch with Patreon this month?

I will try to accomplish my goal of two pages a month, but with the small amount I am actually making with Patreon I may have to use my time in other areas to have enough money to pay bills. These comic pages take a lot of hours to put together. :(

I have been doing a lot of reading about Patreon and I think I am going to adopt a similar method a lot of others are using to prevent thefts, that being that I will individually email out rewards and prizes to those Patreons who's payments go through at the end of the month.
This will leave my Patreon feed a little empty but I will still post all of my public content on there, such as the smaller resolution pages, sketches and WIPs.

Anyway I would be very interested to hear your experiences with Patreon both as pledgers and creators and any advice you can give me to avoid these problems I appear to be having.

And also huge huge kudos to those pledgers who are real and are supporting me, you guys are awesome! <3 <3 <3

I attempted to email the pledgers who appeared to have empty accounts and none of the emails went through, so they have been removed from my Patreon. This has brought me down below my goal as such I'm afraid I will only be able to complete one comic page per month, I will still be sharing WIPs, sketches and other fun art on my Patreon.

Hey Lovelies,

We made it back to the West Coast, had a lovely time, made it all the way to the Atlantic and I got to dip my toes in the ocean there and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic. Got lots of visits with friends and made lots of new ones, had some crazy adventures like observing a massive nesting colony of Northern Gannets, seeing lightning strike less then a kilometer away with thunder cracking louder then I've ever heard, watching meteor showers in the huge skies of the prairies and believe it or not the Northern Lights in the hills near the Chilcotin Plateau. We checked out the old cities like Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City and drank world class wine in the Okanagan.
Our 22 year old Nissian car made the whole trip without one breakdown or speeding ticket, and my mate and I didn't even kill each other on those long 14 hour drives in a small car without air conditioning.

Overall it was a great trip and so cool to finally travel all the way across the country I have grown up in. Sorry I didn't get a chance to put up any art, I ended up not really have access to a computer, so it will be going up over the next couple days. I am also sorting out my price list and will have that back up soon and will be opening for commissions. :) If you're interested in some art give me a shout.

I will also be continuing my comic, thank you so much to everyone that has pledged so far. Things should start getting steamy this fall ;)

Hey Darlings,

Just wanted to let you all know I am going to be away for a while, my mate and I are leaving tomorrow on a month and a half trip across Canada. I have a few recently finished commissions I will be uploading when I have a chance but my internet will be limited so you may not hear back from me if you leave comments or notes for a while.

Hey guys, so I've decided to try a new style for commission, Digital coloured sketches, here are a couple examples:

I am temporarily offering them for $25-35 for one character $20-25 per additional character(prices based on character complexity), $10 for a simple background, $25 for a detailed background.

I'm only offering 5 spots at this price, at which point I will be adding the style to my usual commissions in place of my hybrid digital pictures since I don't really like how that style is working out.

With these commissions I will update you with a WIP when the sketch portion is done and you have up to 3 opportunity's for changes after which I will color it digitally and send you the final copy. This copy I will only allow revisions on if I have made a mistake that was made clear in the references or description.

So I was playing with my water colors again and I really enjoy them. I've decided for the month of march I am going to do a challenge of uploading a water colour sketch every day. My last picture of the series will be uploaded on April 1 (no joke ;p ). I am hoping this challenge will help me improve my water colour skills since it is a medium I just love to work in and also to see if I am up to the challenge of doing art every single day :)

The way I am going to work these is you send me the details of what you would like(preferably via email the.dysfunctional.mule@gmail.com): how many characters, character references, desired poses, anything else you can think of that I would need to know to give you exactly what you want. these commission can be clean, or adult. :)
Once I have confirmed your commission please send payment via paypal or interac and then I will get sketching and painting! Please be quick sending payment, since I need to do a picture a day to meet my goal and if I don't receive your payment and fill all my other days then I may not be able to do your commission, at least as part of this challenge.
Since these are quick commissions I will not be sending WIPs, once I have finished the commission I will send you the finished copy and post it to FA. This is why it is super important to send me all the details, I want you to get exactly what you are looking for and I can't offer refunds of pictures I have completed.

I am not currently offering to ship these commissions, if you would really really like your commission sent to you please let me know and I we can work something out.

Whether or not I get commission to fill every day I am going to be doing some sort of picture every day, I think this will be a lot of fun :)

So I am back from europe and broke so commissions are totally open again, anything your interested in let me know, I will draw just about anything. :)

With the majority of my commission I will complete a rough sketch before payment, which you will be allowed to request modifications up to 4 times. Once you are satisfied with your commission you send payment and then I finish the commission up however we have agreed on, updating you throughout the process and allowing you to request changes. You are allowed to request changes up to 6 times during this process.
You also have the option of having your commission sent to you for 5$ USD within North America and 8$ USD for outside North America. for digital work this means the original hard copy sketch as I dont have a high quality printer.

most commissions are done on 8.5"x11" paper and you will be emailed an internet version in .png format, and high-rez version of the commission in .png format (the high-rez version for printing personal copies of the commission).

you are welcome to post your commission where ever you choose and can use it for any non commercial means (such as role playing websites or something) so long as you dont modify the picture so my signature is not visible. If there is some use you are not sure about please email me, I promise not to bite. :)
