My little brothers start school in a few weeks, one of them starting kindergarten (!!!) and I’m the one paying to buy their school supplies. My goal is to get at least 40$ to use on the both of them.

People on Tumblr just infuriate me sometimes. Never thought I would grow to despise people who are into feminism, LGBT+ rights, MLP: FiM, or TMNT so quickly.

Seriously *rubs face* if you're going to be a complete and utter fuckwit about asexuality, do me a favor and just unwatch me. I'm not having ace-phobes around me.

On other news, hit a BIT of an art block. I'm trying to think of anthro stuff to draw, so just bear with me for a bit. Gotten too far into politics again, and I tend not to draw if that happens, because I'm not about to make my FA page a place for political rants.

I think I'm going to brush up by making egg adoptables now. I had some cute designs I wanted to try out. I THINK I might sell them too, but I don't know...

FA really need to have an option where I can stop getting updates from peoples' journals. (Is there? Am I missing it somewhere? Because I'd really like to do so right now.)

All it's doing is convincing me that people on FA are horrible horrible people, and I really don't want to think that, because I LIKE to have a positive outlook on people, and be able to appreciate their art without it being tainted by the fact I got curious and read up on some really ignorant opinion they spouted off.

Sorry fellows, just for the record, I'm a bit hyper right now, so my brain's going a bit quicker than it should be.

SO I tend to be pretty horrible of sticking with fursonas. Usually go back to dingos or jackals, BUT mine doesn't seem to reflect dingos very much...so either A. I will design her to appear more to be a dingo or B. I will make up a new fursona ~entirely~.

I don't know yet. Still doodling ideas. I like birds, might do a bird, but I like hybrids, so might do a hybrid.

Either way, unsure yet, and this has been a pointless journal entry. Ta~

Drawing is stress relief for me, and normally? I'd be 100% okay with drawing people freebies. (Because hey, I like to draw for people.) But right now I need to fall back to drawing to keep myself calm and not worry about doing this for other people.

Also, do you think it'd be fair to start selling designs? Especially unique ones that aren't just carbon copies of the same pose, sort of deal? Just want to take soundings, I suppose. (Like, if I was, what do you think a fair price would be, considering my level of art?)

Try to keep my personal thoughts to myself here, but ugh.

Attempting to explain to someone about the whole idea of privilege is really, really frustrating, especially if they don't want to take it seriously.

*has a gigantic headache from it all* For someone who strives to recognize their privilege every day, it's very annoying to hear, "LOL I HAVE WHITE PRIVILEGE, U GAIZ, I'M SO MEAN." Especially from a friend. (Who then follows it with tall privilege and women privilege, which just makes me want to go 8| and smack them for it.)

And for those wondering, the 'women privilege' a woman can have, is when she's FAAB and identifies as female for the rest of her life. It's called cissexual privilege.

It's just...ugh. I don't know. I tend to take things like this pretty seriously, and there's days when it rather hurts when someone makes fun of something you try to keep in mind all the fucking time. It'd be like...I dunno, me as an atheist mocking someone who believed in God/Jesus Christ. You know what I mean?

I dunno. Just irritated with this. :/ One of the days when I wish I wasn't such an activist.

Trying to draw. Failing so hard.

I've been rereading the Redwall series, lately. Working on Mossflower right now, and unfortunately I'll have to stop there because my library doesn't have all of the books. I've read Taggerung, High Rhulain, Mossflower, Marlfox, Salamandastron, Mariel of Redwall, The Long Patrol, Doomwyte, Rakkety Tam, aaaand Triss.

PHWEW.

Read them within two weeks or so. *scratches chin* Not up to my usual speed...

I could have SWORN there was a love interest for Martin though, in Mossflower. :/ It's been forever since I read that one, but I thought there was some Rose character...ugh. Can't remember.

I'm going to start collecting the books again, since stupid 15-year-old me sold all but Taggerung and High Rhulain.

A friend got me back into Redwall. I am super sad that Brian Jacques died, but :C at least I got some fun out of his books.

Working on a few RP characters for that though. Uploaded Isra and Tarek, but I'm thinking of a few otter characters, maybe a mouse or so...dunno yet.
