Hey ny'all I know I've been bad at posting my finished work publicly I've been so busy it just slips my mind. But if it interests anyone at all I just wanted to share that I now have a secondary location I'll be posting NSFW artwork to! For a while I've always kept it exclusive to FA as I've kinda been shy about it for a long time since I'm afraid of people knowing the kinks I like to draw for but I've had such a positive experience at the past few Night Markets I've sold at that I want to try to put my stuff out there more publicly.
I will continue to post NSFW stuff here as well, FA will always be my main platform for both types of artwork and I won't be separating this acct just because it gives me a headache managing multiple accounts ;w;. But if you're interested in following a secondary source of my artwork it's there!

Posted 5 months agoHey all I'm currently drowning in bills with no sign of land. My self employment taxes are way more than I expected, I was bullied into a lot of medical procedures I didn't need by doctors with expensive co-pays, I need to afford the travel to some cons I've been accepted into so I can afford to pay off said bills.
All that being said, I can't afford to run an Etsy sale like I usually do since TFF is so close and it's my only saving grace right now.
I'm offering a few slots of flat colored comms for 30% off what they normally are, I'm not sure how many slots I'll be offering. I guess I'll just decide when I feel is enough.

Patreon Rework - New Rewards

I'm re-structuring my rewards tiers as the sticker club idea I had was burning me out between all of the other work I need to get done in a month. So if the sticker club wasn't your cup of tea, the new rewards tiers might be, perchance...
Going forward my Patreon will be used mostly to share full-rez merch artwork, which will not be posted anywhere else. This includes stickers, pins, and designs for upcoming merchandise I have planned like charms, and whatever other wacky little merch idea I get in my head. (I have a pretty large variety I want to do :'D )
Rewards tiers will include;
-The ability to request Pokemon as a part of my ongoing challenge to draw a sticker for the entire Pokedex
-Custom doodles (at highest tier)
-Merch discounts, pre-orders on manu'd merch (ex. charms) with a patron discount
-I may later create an even higher tier than I already have to include custom designs of merch in my orders, featuring your OCs or otherwise. But I'll have to work out the logistics of it first due to manu MOQ.
Most of these rewards are available even at the 1$ a month tier! So if you would like to support me in my new Patreon rework, I'd appreciate it a lot!

Commission tiers are changing!
Posted a year agoI'm probably not going to be in a rush to update my commission graphic as I mostly really only take commissions at cons anymore but it will come eventually
This rule will come into effect today but probably won't reflect until my upcoming table at TFS.
Commissions will now be split into flat colored pieces and fully shaded pieces, rather than me solely offering fully shaded pieces. The current commission prices I have will going forward be the price for a flat colored drawing; shaded pieces will be 20-30$ more expensive depending on the tier (Closer to 20$ for a headshot, closer to 30$ for a fullbody, etc.)
My shading style has evolved pretty drastically over the course of this year and it now takes me an entire work day to fully shade a piece now, sometimes multiple days if a character is wearing clothing. It's very time consuming and slows down my commission queue over all, so hopefully doing it like this I will feel more fairly compensated for the time that goes into shading and also allow people who don't care too much about if their commission is shaded to receive their piece much faster.

Was wondering if anyone here used something like trello to publicly show off their commission queue? The alternatives I'm finding via google don't make it super clear what I'm singing up for/if it'll work for commission purposes

Posted a year agoHelex went into surgery today and everything went well! I was able to afford more than half the bill and my roommate was able to put the rest on credit.
Unfortunately things aren’t completly over as the vet brought up a couple of concerning things, and they said he’s going through something called feline teeth resorption? So it’s likely he will need to get more teeth removed in the future but now that I know it’s a thing and it’s not an immediate this needs to happen now I can plan financially for it.

I'm still leaving up my donation links until the surgery is done (Right now we're estimating Tuesday at the latest) but the situation has mmmostly stabilized? Our normal vet gave us painkillers to tide him over until the surgery, and he's eating again but he'll only eat broth. We have about half of the estimated 1k$ surgery bill raised between me draining my savings account and donations.
I put my entire Etsy store on 40% off to try to fundraise some more. The sale will last for two weeks so I can also try to recover some money from this event - like I said I pretty much had to drain all of my bank accounts. The only thing not on discount is my new charms and the sticker books.

Okay I was trying to gently get donations as much as I could but this has turned into something much more dire and I need the money by Monday.
Tl;dr Helex is now not eating anything we try to offer him, his tooth is extremely inflamed and rotten looking and we had to rush him to the emergency vet. Our normal vet never told us that they only see dental surgeries on specific days of the week so they have to refer us to another vet that’s 40 minutes away and can’t see us until Monday. Not only the long drive but my roommate has to leave work early/possibly call out to even drive us there because of their working hours only being 9-5 (our normal vet is 24 hours)
I’m giving in and just getting on my knees and begging because I don’t know what else to do anymore, please give, share, anything, I’m terrified for his life at this point.

Kitty Needs Surgery - Buy my merch? ;w;

I don't like begging for donations it makes me feel weird but yea Uh. I came home from AnthroExpo to find out my cat needs to get a tooth pulled, it's abscessed and not getting better with medication. Thankfully the money I made from this weekend will cover a majority of the bill but I'm still about 500$ short since the vet also wants to do a blood panel and x ray before he goes in for surgery because he's 9 years old.
So just plugging my merch to try to get some help with it :( Again I don't like begging for donations at least doing this you're actually getting something for your money yanno.

AnthroExpo! Just A Week Away!
Posted a year agoHey all just a little announcement that I am vending at AnthroExpo's artist alley this year!! I probably should've announced it sooner but it just crossed my mind :'D
That being said this will be my last working week of the month! I'm going to be spending the 3 days before my departure next week packing and doing my final prep work. If you'll be at the con - come see me!! I'll be at Artist Alley table N and the Night Market table 7b ! I'll be having some Furcon/possibly AnEx exclusive items at the Night Market. I'm testing the waters marketing more adult artwork and may not do it again depending on how things go.

VEGAS AREA FOLLOWERS! Donate blood, get art
Posted a year agoThe situation is still unfolding and I will be making a more organized donation incentive thing if any online donation stuff pops up but; there was a shooting at the University of Las Vegas, both my sister and one of my cousins attends that school and my sister very narrowly escaped being involved. My family is fine but it’s still very harrowing and I want to try to help in whatever way I can from hundreds of miles away.
If any of my followers are in the Las Vegas area, they are asking for people to donate blood. If you message me any proof that you’ve donated blood in the Vegas area I’ll draw something for you in return.
I’m keeping an eye out for if any sort of fundraiser or medical bills thing goes up and I’ll make something more formal if I find any but as this happened about an hour ago this is the most I can find right now.

Posted 2 years agoI'm actually out of commissions to work on and I'm getting kind of scared of running out of work to do since my whole commission cycle kind of relies on me having commissions in progress to post to advertise myself so uhh; offering some discount slots to try to tide me over?

Thinking of using Patreon's new shop for retired designs?
Posted 2 years agoThought I've been having but I'm not sure how I would make it work since the shop is meant for digital media sales.
But I have to retire my original designs for stickers pretty frequently since they very rarely become decent sellers, at most I'll make 1-3 sales through a course of many months and I'll just retire the design and replace it with fanart bc that is the way of the world...
But I thought it could be a cool perk for Patreon! Doing it that way I could just print one copy for anyone interested and send it off and I don't think Patreon charges listing fees just a fee when the listing sells, so it wouldn't be of much risk for me having to pay a bunch of money up front for nothing.
Retired designs have already been an option for the sticker club members to pick for their monthly packages but it's hard to organize them into one space so I'm not sure people are aware this is a thing I offer.
Anyway let me know what u all might think of this? I think I can have the Patreon shop open to the general public and not just subscribers

I was suggested this site by a viewer on stream the other day and I'm trying it out! My prints have been con-exclusives for a while since I don't really want to figure out the logistics of shipping them and making sure they don't get bent up in the mail but now they are not!! And I also have some art pieces on inprnt that I want to make into prints but I can't really justify at the moment since they're original pieces which are always more of a gamble than my fanart.
Will be listing some more stuff up on there in the coming days!

The Sorcerer (Etsy) Has Harmed Me Once More
Posted 2 years agoSome miscellaneous merch shop updates since Etsy is being a bastard again
The new eevee charms had to be relisted because most of them got flagged as “unavailable in your region”, I contacted support to be told they’re mature content and they’ve been flagged. It took two more support tickets to figure out how on earth pokemon keychains are adult content and once I got on a phone it has actually hit not just those ones but 25 of my listings.
According to other Etsy artists this is apparenly due to them implementing some sort of broken AI filtering system and it’s just the tumblr anything slightly skin toned is porn fiasco all over again.
Anyway this is why that matters to you all;
Etsy won’t tell me what listings I have flagged. I don’t get an email about it or anything. If anyone in the US runs into trying to buy something and gets the “not available in your region” message please contact me so I can try to dispute it.
I have been told by other sellers this is a glitch and it might be fixed but I don’t trust Etsy. I am thinking about opening something like a bigcartel store front to possibly list up anything that Etsy false flags and refuses to fix? It’s really hard to drive traffic to those kind of websites though and it’s a monthly fee so I’m not sure yet.
