The Kings Court shall be held in the grounds of the Amora Riverwalk Hotel, Melbourne Australia, and will celebrate the joining of the kingdoms of man, into the Seventh Realm.
His Grace calls all of his loyal subjects to celebrate Anthropomorphic animals and furry fandom from all corners of the realm, with homage payable dependant on the height of your nobility, and loyalty to his Grace the King.
Please note that His Grace will adorn upon his loyal followers who pay their tributes before July 1st, a gift. Once the gift is decided on by His Grace and the remaining Lords of the Land, a Raven will be sent to the 7 corners of the realm with an announcement of His Grace's kindness.

The minions in the events team have been working long and hard to provide you with an exceptional event, bringing you some familiar favourites, as well as a few new additions to our schedule this year

We are also thrilled to announce that the “That Time of Night Show” Variety Show will be making a return this year. After the huge success of last year’s variety show, we are bringing it back with new games, awesome guests, plus the inclusion of a TALENT SHOW as a part of the whole variety show, and a Special musical performance that will be released on iTunes after the convention.
Ever wondered how the creative genius behind
ByCats4Cats does it? This is your chance to join the incredibly talented (and very tall) 
Snapcat for an up close and personal look into the building and design process of one of the most well known fursuit making teams in the world!!!
EZWolf, known for his work as the Director behind furry movie “Bitter Lake” will be joining us to share stories from inside his wonderful and manic world of video production and Cooling Systems. This panel will be super cool!! (Get it?)
Do you like cars? Want to talk about cars? Want to get to know more about cars? Have no idea about cars but want to be apart of an entertaining and informative discussion?
There is so much more to ConFurgence than just panels and workshops, and we are making use of our event spaces this year to open up areas for people wanting to play card and table top games throughout the weekend. The bar will be open from 5pm onwards in the venue, and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be available at an affordable price on site. Make the most to enjoy your opportunity to meet one of the largest gathering of flurries from around the world, Australia has ever seen at ConFurgence this year.
we’re looking for some more community involvement in panels this year and we’d like to open a few things up to the community. We have an array of events and panels that we’d like to run, but we thought it might be good to open up a few suggestions for events to the community, as you can see there are 2 one hour slots and 1 one and a half hour slot that we’re opening up for suggestions.
At this stage, we are also sad to announce that due to personal matters beyond the control of both ConFurgence, and the Guests, Clockwork Creatures Studios have had to pull out of attending this coming event. Not to fear though, they will be coming out for ConFurgence 2016: Gods Of Olympus

Some awesome tips to get the most out of ConFurgence 2014!
Posted 12 years agoConFurgence 2014: Egyptian Nights is here, guest arrivals have begun, hotels are bracing themselves and the MCEC is ready!
In the lead up to the convention we thought we'd give you a few tips to get your convention experience underway.
Tip #1 where is ConFurgence: level 2 of the convention centre, the simplest route is to head towards the Hilton southwharf, enter the MCC and head up one set of escalators.
Tip #2 identification: when checking in at the registration desk, please have your identification ready, whilst photo ID is preferable, a bank card, concession card or utility bill with your name on it is sufficient.
Tip #3 ticket: to speed up your registration process please ensure you bring a printed copy of the ticket that was emailed to you via eventarc at the time of registration.
Tip #4 621 to make sure that you get the most out of the convention experience please ensure you get /at least/ 6 hours of sleep, 2 meals a day and 1 shower; this is for your enjoyment as well as those around you.
Tip#5 your first furcon : this panel is specifically designed to offer even more tips on how to get the most out of your furcon experience. Even if this is not your first furry convention this is still a valuable panel to attend and a great way to meet new people and reconnnect with old friends.
Tip #6 have a blast; we don't put this convention on for any other reason than to give all the attendees a kick ass time.
If for any reason your experience was less than stellar we provide feedback forms to tell us where we can do better, we also have a Facebook page where you can pm us directly.

We're really excited and hope to see you all there, but that means that if you don't have a con pass already you need to be quick - pre-registration for $95 ends at 7pm on the 6th of January. This will be your last chance to pre-buy your con pass before the day itself for $105 or individual day passes for $40 per day.

Art Show 2014!
Posted 12 years agoArt has been one of the great cornerstones of the fandom ever since its earliest days and as such we at ConFurence 2014 want to take a minute to talk about the art show at this year’s convention. The display continues to grow with each year and remains of the utmost quality, this year we have original pieces of artwork from Dark Natasha, Blotch and many more of the fandom’s most talented artists.
Like the hieroglyphics of Egypt art has come to define the fandom and the art show is a celebration of the very core of the fandom. Come down and see the marvellous pieces for yourselves, many originals will even be on sale. While we look forward to all of it, we know that for some it can be tough to put aside three whole days for the con experience. As such we are happy to announce that as of 5pm today, single day passes will be available on our website for $35 for any individual day per person.

Held at 10am on the Friday the 10th, the first day of the convention; ConFurgence chairman CynWolfe, world-renowned furry comedian 2 Gryphon, and all round nice guy Skooma will be walking you through everything you need to know to enjoy your first furry convention to the fullest.
Every year we get a great number of attendees who are completely new to the con-going experience and this panel is the perfect place to learn the comings and goings of ConFurgence. It even makes a good refresher for veteran convention attendees on the 6:2:1 rule, how to best deal with fursuiters and how to make the most of the con.

The funds raised from auctioning off the donated items will all go to this year's charity, the Siberian Husky Rescue, and we need to your help to make this auction as amazing as possible.
Examples of the sorts of donated items that we're looking for include (but are certainly not limited to):
- artwork (limited editions/signed copies/originals/prints/collections);
- commissions (sketches/line art/full colour/badges/fursuit pieces);
- books/comics/magazines (particularly signed/limited editions);
- plushies and figurines;
- clothing (especially furry themed);
- rare or unique items;
- general furry merchandise.
If you're already raring to go, you can pre-register your donation online by emailing charityauction@confurgence.com with the following details:
- Name of item
- Short description highlighting the important details (size/contents/special features/selling points)
- Donator's name
- Donator contact information (phone/email)
- Suggested starting bid
- Photo/picture of item (or an example of similar work for commissions)

Special Guest Announcement: Blü Dragon and Mangusu!
Posted 12 years agoWe have exciting news for all attendees who love the ancient art of dance.
We are delighted to announce Blü Dragon and Mangusu as Special Guests at ConFurgence 2014!
Blü is a professional dancer and actor from the Central Coast, NSW. He has been dancing since the age of 6, training and teaching in various dance schools ever since. Last year he completed a full time course at the Brent Street Studios and earned his Certificate IV in performing arts. He has worked in professional dance companies, on televised commercials and is currently employed as a dancer and entertainer at Luna Park Sydney whilst studying on scholarship at Lee Academy.
Mangusu, once known as Monsteroo, is a dancer who has taken the convention dance scene by storm. He has become famous for his performances all across the North American fursuit dance competitions. This includes the Anthrocon fursuit dance competition which he has taken four years in a row, displaying a creativity and flexibility in the medium that has mesmerized and captivating audiences for years now. Having recently moved to Australia, Mangusu will be a guest judge for the fursuit dancing competition and a fursuit performance panelist at ConFurgence 2014.
And maybe, if we are lucky, we may even be treated to a performance from the master!
We are proud to have Blü and Mangusu as a ConFurgence Special Guests, bringing the attendees to their feet to shake their respective tail-feathers or simply tails. As always we are more than happy to showcase the incredible talent that has arisen from the fandom as well as those with such passion for their creative arts as these two so clearly personify and embody.

Guest of Honour Announcement: Dark Natasha!
Posted 12 years agoWe are proud to announce Dark Natasha as one of our Guests of Honour for Confurgence 2014.
Working mostly with mixed media, her drawings and paintings are extremely detailed. Her particular style of layering produces a multidimensional effect to the extent that the eyes of her subjects seem to come alive.
Dark Natasha is most recognized for painting animal and bird life with anthropomorphic overtones. At first glance a wolf portrait is simply that but look closer there is a feather braided into the mane and an amulet hangs around its neck.
While she works primarily with down-to-earth wildlife in captivating detail, she brings a weight and presence even to fantasy creatures, ranging from dragons to werewolves.

Working mostly with mixed media, her drawings and paintings are extremely detailed. Her particular style of layering produces a multidimensional effect to the extent that the eyes of her subjects seem to come alive.
Dark Natasha is most recognized for painting animal and bird life with anthropomorphic overtones. At first glance a wolf portrait is simply that but look closer there is a feather braided into the mane and an amulet hangs around its neck.
While she works primarily with down-to-earth wildlife in captivating detail, she brings a weight and presence even to fantasy creatures, ranging from dragons to werewolves.
