Well. I've been thinking about this for the past year or so, and honestly, I don't really like this account name all that much. I made it in haste and before I completely joined the fandom. I make accounts quickly so I end up signing up for a lot things, but I didn't really think about my account name all too much and I'm not really diggin' it all too much.

I might end up keeping this one for my personal art, or I might not. Not sure yet. I know for one thing I will be posting my commissions over on the new account, should I move to a new one. I don't know.

At any rate, should I move over to a new account, I shall keep you all informed!

So. I talked about this I think more than a year ago, but I've been thinking about it a lot again lately. I want to make a comic of some sort. I don't think I've got it yet to do something like a webcomic but who knows. So I come to you guys.

I've got some ideas of my own but I was wondering if you guys could help me out by throwing some comic ideas at me. It would be greatly appreciated. I'm gonna take a lot of time getting at least a basic story together before I try and draw the comic so it may be a while before I start it, but its something I really want to do.

Well guys, I'm just stopping in to let you know that I'm pretty much stress-free again as of right now. Work related stuff has been wearing me tired (I've been working a lot lately) but that's alright. I'm doing well and I'm not going to let that stop me.

Anyways, first off I just wanna say that I signed the lease for my new apartment and can start moving in on the 20th. YAY! My bank approved me of a loan so I had the money to pay for the deposit. So no more stress. I just have to get my apartment packed and all. Also have a few friends who are willing to lend me their trucks so that way I don't have to rent a moving truck to move all my big stuff and furniture, so that's less money for me to spend. Again, YAY!

Also, I want to apologize to raffle winners. I will get them done, I'm going to try to get at least the sketch done today or tomorrow, which I have off work (YAY) but I also do need to spend a lot of this time packing as well, so we will see what I can get to. (Maybe I'll just take today as a slack off day and pack tomorrow who knows?)

Well I guess I could always start off by saying that I am getting kicked out of my current apartment. Yay! This is the biggest reason for my inactivity. For the most part. My landlord said on the phone, a few weeks before that me and my roommate are the perfect tenants. Lol. wtf. Seems to be more of a vendetta since they hated someone who was staying with us until she could get an apartment of her own. Oh well. Such is life. I don't regret having her here and if that's what caused them to kick me out after being a "perfect tenant" for over 3 years, then I don't even want to be giving them money anyway.

With that said, I have until the end of this month to have everything moved out. I don't have a for sure apartment yet (though I've looked at one and its looking promising.) Still waiting to hear back to know if we got that apartment or not. Kind of hoping so since the other places me and my roommate have called, still haven't given us a call back, so this one is like our only hope right now. x3 I was able to get loan through my bank so that way I can pay for deposit and first month's rent. So, the stress of my financial situation has been lifted so much. ^^

With all of this happening it has caused me a lot of stress and a bit depression. This is also another reason why I've been kind of inactive. I'm really still worried about finding a new apartment on time. Like, what the hell am I going to do if I don't find an apartment by the month's end? I'll probably end up having to quit my job and move back in with my mom or dad for the time being. I can't move out of town otherwise I won't be able to make it back and forth to work everyday.

Now with all this, I'm trying to keep positive. I'm hoping I'm going to be getting a call soon saying "Hey, give us the deposit and you got an apartment." But I'm still very stressed out with all this. I'm afraid that if I have to quit my job and move back in with one of my parents that it is going to devastate me and throw me further into depression, which I don't want to happen.

On top of all this, I'm working a lot right now. Like, I'll being working 8 days in a row, with a day off to work like another 7 or something stupid like that. So I'm going to be busy busy busy and so worn out by the end of this month.

I'm still hoping that I can manage to squeeze in some time to finish up these raffle prizes. (I really dont want them to end up looking like rushed pieces of crap lol) I haven't even been playing too many games lately. And when I have, its usually been late night, to the point where I'm getting like 3 hours of sleep before work. LOL

Anyway, thats whats going on with this green wofly as of right now. Yep. Catch ya fuzzbutts later.

It's not worth it to not be yourself...

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. I've been trying to better myself, be comfortable with myself, and most of all, be happy with who I am. In order to this I really had to take a look at some of my habits and I also took a look at some of my mistakes in the past. Things that kind of hurt to think about, but it is really all worth it in the end.

The main thing that I've learned is you just have to be yourself. You have your own personality, your own quirks, etc. for a reason. You are you, you shouldn't try to force yourself to be like someone else, or some way that isn't genuine. It never ends well. It's funny because since I was a kid I've always done this. I've always tried to be someone that I wasn't. Mainly due to the fact that I didn't want to be labeled as the "loser" or what have you.

Let me take you back to my own experiences. It really started even since I was in grade school. Now, I've always been someone who likes to help others, but I supressed those urges when it came to the kids that were "unpopular" or "geeky" etc. Sure I talked to them every now and again, but I always made those conversations brief and I never would talk to them more than was necessary. Especially if certain people were around. I feel bad to this day, because I know I missed out on probably some very good friendships

I should also mention that I was never even part of the "popular" crowd in school either. But I always tried to be. Finally when I got into 6th grade is when I was finally able to start wedging myself into the popular crowd. These kids started to talk to me on a semi-regular basis. I was happy. (Or so I thought) I guess I was too busy trying to get into this crowd that it never occurred to me that they never wanted to hang out with me outside of school. I was really only there to help them with their homework. Hah.

Lets fast forward to near the end of my 8th grade year. I had quite a few "popular" friends and I was kind of almost happy. I found out that I'd be moving to a different city. I didn't really tell anyone at first but as the time got closer (about within a week from moving) I started to tell my "friends." I say "friends" because I found out the hard way that they weren't really my friends. I got many people who just ignored me and then the other few literally said to my face "I don't care." I was devastated. I didn't even know how to feel. People didn't seem to like me for who I was, and I couldn't even be someone fake that people liked. Look back, though, its more like I just ignored the ones who would have accepted me for who I was because I was too busy trying not to be a "geek" and "loser."

For about the next 2 years I hardly ever talked to anyone. Or rather, I didn't really try to make friends. I was in a new place, with new people, and along with that, I still had the thought in my mind that no one would ever like me no matter what. During my freshman year of highschool, we ended up moving again, to a small town with a population of about 7000 people. At this time, the only person I really talked to was my brother. And then during the first few months, the first people to start talking to me was a few "popular" people at school. I started to be someone I wasn't again, until I realized this person didn't like me. He started be rude and everything. And then the cycle started again.

Through my brother and playing world of warcraft, I met my first true friend. Online I was pretty much always myself. If someone didn't like me, I could just block them and be done with it. My brother found a few people who played at school and we all played together and it turned out one of the guys shared a class with me. I was completely shocked to realize that this guy actually wanted to hang out with me. He came over to my place and we had fun. He lived like a block and a half from where I lived, so he ended up coming over quite a bit.

This guy possibly saved my life. I don't think he knows it, but I was highly contemplating suicide right before I met him. I was convinced that no one would like me for who I was and I was failure at being what people wanted to me. As far as I was concerned, I was just a waste of space and time. I've never told anyone this, but I even had a suicide note written and was about to set a date. This is how far along I was. To me there was only one way out and I was going to take it. There didn't seem to be any other option.

He made me realize, but just being my friend, that I could be who I was. I felt happy around him. I felt comfortable around him. I was able to actually be myself for once. He was the first person that I came out to and when I told him, he didn't care. He kept being my friend like nothing ever happened. I caused him a lot of grief in high school (something I wont go into now) and he stayed my friend through it all. I'm so glad I met him, and I'll never forget him so long as I live. It's a real damn shame that we don't talk anymore.

Now I'm sharing this for multiple reasons. One, everyone should know to be themselves. There's no reason not to. You are you for a reason. Two, suicide isn't an option. No matter what you may be thinking, there is always an end to the dark tunnel. Had I decided to take my life sooner, I wouldn't have met that guy and I wouldn't be here sharing this with you all. Lastly, I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I've never told anyone about this experiences in detail and its something I've needed to get off my chest.

I just wanted to say thank you guys. The amount of people that joined my raffle.... I can't even explain how happy I feel right now. I also wanted to thank all of you who opted in for my headshot requests a few weeks ago. I would have never imagined that I would get that much interest in people wanting art from me. I am truly stunned and thankful.

Rewind a few years, hell even about a year back, the last time I opened up a few requests, I had to stretch for just 3 of them. I normally only open up for requests every once in a while anymore, but I'm hoping to get to a point where people will actually want to commission me. At least just every once in a while would be nice. xP I have gotten like 3 commissions and let me tell you, it felt wonderful to have people want to pay money for my art! I never thought that I'd see the day!

But yeah, once again, just thanks. I never expected to get this much traffic for my raffle, and I hope to keep on drawing and getting better to please you guys.

Just another side note: I am currently in the process of packing / moving so my free time may be a lot less than desirable so the raffle prizes may be a bit slow. I wouldn't have done this raffle had I known I was going to have to move (found out 4 or 5 days ago) but I don't plan to just up and cancel it.

The life of a full time artist must be brutal! Lol. After 2 days of drawing so much I'm beat. Not to say that I didn't have fun and/or learn anything, cuz I did A LOT of both.

I wanna thank you guys for showing interest in my art and thank you for letting me draw all of your wonderful characters. I'm sorry if they didn't come out exactly 100% correct considering this was practice and a learning tool for me since I'm still just a beginner artist.

Also thank you to the people who accompanied me in my streams while I was working. I really appreciate it. It makes me feel not lonely while I work and makes me feel good that someone wants to come in an watch me work and talk. :D

I don't know if I'll open up for requests any time soon again, but always open for trades and/or commissions!

Anyway, Thanks guys. After all this I realize I worked up the courage to just pick up my pen and start drawing again without fear of the final product being a complete disappointment. And I really do feel better about myself as an artist and just seeing improvement in these works that I did, makes me feel like I can keep on going and become at least a somewhat decent artist in the end. LOL. We shall see where life takes me though.
