11th October Edit: turns out staff don't like my attempt at avoiding having to delete the submissions in their entirity, so... yeah, go to my accounts on other sites if you wanna see my full galleries, because this site ain't sane enough for me to feel safe doing so here with anything above a General rating anymore.

So, I finally got a response from the team working through the absolute mountain of gallery check tickets they had, and here's their response, with the context of me having provided links of the references for my Mews since they couldn't even be bothered to go through my gallery.

All of the submissions that you have linked are acceptable per our site policies and community guidelines. While Mew drawn in their canonical form isn't acceptable in NSFW scenarios, these Mew characters are, provided that they keep their more adult proportions as seen in the linked submissions.

Those aren't adult proportions, those are semi-anthro forms, but that borderline insult aside, this has shattered what little hope of them recovering some sense of, well, sense, that I had left.

As the title of this journal implies, it means I will remove EVERYTHING that is Mature or above in rating on my FA as a sort of protest, with the sole exception being references, in a few hours.

Now don't panic, the art I've commissioned is on several other sites I set up right around the time of the FA self-oof, along with many recent comms I haven't uploaded here because of avoiding uploading anything NSFW here since then, and in higher image quality than their FA versions at that.
I repeat, there are no images that will simply disappear from my overall online galleries, you'll just have to go somewhere else than FA to view the full splendor of my galleries, and speaking of, I'll put the links to my other accounts below.

All three of these have every image on my FA account, in chronological order, with their descriptions, tags and titles completely 100% intact, minus some very slight adjustments in descriptions regarding links to alts and a few spelling mistakes and such.


As for the images in question here on FA, I won't be deleting the submissions, instead I will be replacing the image files and moving the submissions to Scraps, leaving comments, faves and the like completely untouched.

So, gonna be pretty plain and simple here, once I get the staff response to my ticket, I'm purging my gallery of everything NSFW, as I already know there's a good few pics in there with 'banned' characters like Radasus' kobold, even if my own Mews wouldn't be viewed as underage by the mod of the day.

You're gonna be able to find all that stuff though, as well as any future NSFW stuff, on my accounts on other sites though, which I've already linked on my profile page, but will do so here real quick just for convenience's sake, at the bottom of the journal.
Going forward, FA is gonna be SFW-only for me in terms of uploads, meaning General rated stuff only, with the sole exception of the references for my characters, some of which are NSFW themselves.

FA's given me a lot of good times, but focus is inevitably going to dwindle for me as time goes on now with the outright hostility that's being shown, at least I had the good fortune to 'just' have 200-ish images to move over, rather than several thousand.

So, as people might've seen in one of my previous journals, I was considering making some accounts in various spaces, and as you can probably tell by the title of this journal, I have done so!

Not really much more to say about that, beyond that I'll drop the links to the accounts, which are still barren as of right now as I'm going to start uploading stuff, from oldest to newest, over the course of some days once the heatwave here dies down a little and I can properly focus.
I'm not gonna leave FA, it's still a very handy resource, but I am most likely going to remove everything nsfw, so it'll essentially be an SFW account going forward once I've finished uploading everything onto other sites.

Keep in mind, the above profiles will take a little bit to be filled out with submissions, too hot for me to really focus that much on it atm, but I'm absolutely aiming for getting that bit finished before the 1st of next month when time expires.


Update I have to say, I'm incredibly flattered at how many people have already watched me on those sites, I'll be getting started on moving pics over tomorrow on the 24th, though don't expect them all to be out in the same day, my gallery's big enough that it'll take a little while to get through it all. For anyone else who's thinking of doing the same before the deadline, Postybirb is very helpful in this, as it means I don't have to click back and forth between multiple sites to upload the same thing over and over again.

I'll be posting them in chronological order, starting with my oldest images and getting newer from there, and as for new images that I've gotten while setting up for this, I am going to be uploading those once I'm done with expanding onto these other platforms. Anything SFW will be posted here too, but if it's NSFW, you shouldn't expect to see it on FA, same going for most Mature-rated pieces.
Yes, even for the characters I know for a fact won't be affected by this current rule change, such as Aristide or Slethy.

As for image resolutions, I'll be sticking to what the original uploads on here have, to respect any artist limits on size and what their own posts may have been, as looking up what their highest resolution post, if any, of my commissioned images would be incredibly time-consuming and I'm just too lazy for that. X3

So, I'm planning to move my gallery to other sites sometime during the upcoming weekend, the uncertainty here is just unacceptable and given what I've heard about how long tickets take to get responses, I don't want to wait until potentially late next month to get anything conclusive.

I have no intention of deleting my profile from the site or anything of the sort, though I'll most likely remove everything NSFW/kinky in any way, just in case, leaving it an entirely SFW profile. I am a little conflicted though on what to do with the submissions in question though, wholesale deletion seems a bit much, so I'm considering instead changing the description and image files to reflect that they've been moved to other sites, with no direct links of course to the submissions on said site, both for convenience and so I don't risk running afoul of any rules.


As for where I'll move them, I'm still considering which other sites I may go to, simply for gallery stability.
As of the posting of this journal, I'm thinking Inkbunny, Itaku, possibly Weasyl.

I'm also considering using a different account name than my current one on those sites, though I've no conclusive thoughts on that yet.

Other suggestions for sites, and general thoughts on my plans, are more than welcome, so feel free to bring them up in the comments below.

So, what with recent events and all, I don't think it'll be a surprise that I'm thinking moderators will likely find my Mews to be too small and cute to be safe for nsfw, as if that makes sense in the slightest, but beyond that, yeah I'm looking towards other sites to possibly move to and the like, no hard plans or destinations yet but I'm open to suggestions of places that aren't going to arbitrarily nuke people's accounts because there's no guarantee two moderators will make the same judgement on the same pieces.

As for June 7th, reading the journal I'm under the impression that it's a horribly miscommunicated date for when they're effectively removing the teenage pregnancy bit, but notably nothing else which people can and will continue to mock there.

In short, June 7th likely won't be the date for the effective implementation of the policy, so don't freak out too badly, I think it's just a case of awful communication again.

Right, had a bit of time to process what happened to prompt it, and I feel I can now revert the pictures in question to be back on my main gallery. By the time you see this, that's already been the case.

Just to pre-empt any questions that may arise regarding the sudden change of icon and art just minutes prior to this journal being posted, they're still on my profile, just located in Scraps now.

If anyone's curious about the reason, I'd rather not specify beyond that it's for my personal mental health due to a very unexpected event, and I'm taking the pre-emptive measure to move the pieces in question out of my sight as to make sure I have enough time to dwell on things properly.

It's no bout of depression or the like, no worries about that. I've not had a history of mental illness, I'm just a little shaken up currently by a probably otherwise fairly insignificant event here on the site that's a bit of a first for me. Am I overreacting? Maybe, but the uncertainty involved is screwing with me something fierce.
