30 day Gaming Gauntlet thingy Day 16
Posted 14 years agoDay 1: I believe it was Dr. Mario. WAAAAAY back on the Game Boy Pocket. Was either that or Pac Man.
Day 2: Hm...Right now I gotta say Orianna from League of Legends. She's really fun to play as and her voice is fucking AMAZING.
...And apparently she's GlaDos from Portal. I wouldn't know, but every time I mention how awesome her voice is, the universal response is "She's GlaDos."
Day 3: The Witcher series. It's only two games, but both are fucking AMAZING and apparently very few people have ever heard of them.
Day 4 - Guilty pleasure? As in a game I'm embarrassed that I enjoy playing? Don't really have any. Let me know if I'm misinterpreting the phrase "guilty pleasure".
Day 5 - REDONE - I changed my mind. Fuck Vayne. I wanna be like Isaac Clarke from Dead Space 2. He fights off mutant zombies and avoid the military, all while hallucinating and slowly going insane. He is, without a doubt, the definition of a MAN.
Day 6 - Mordekaiser from League of Legends. He's supposedly a melee attacker, but he's got two spells with longer range than a turret, a shield that essentially shuts down any attempt to whittle away his health, and does ridiculous amounts of damage. A friend of mine recently got a pentakill playing as him with only one item fully built. If you know League of Legends, tell me that's fair.
Day 7 - This one's kind of a tie, so I'll list both options here.
First is Triss Merigold and Geralt from The Witcher. Ok sure, in the first game you have the option of choosing Shani instead, but in the Witcher 2, it's pretty clear that Triss is the one he ends up with (Unless the cutscene's different if you picked Shani. I just know Triss is the default if you don't import your save from the first game). ANYWAY. I gotta say I love these two cuz of all their little interactions, first game mostly, haven't played much of the second yet.
Second is Orianna and Blitzcrank from League of Legends. Ok so they're not actually a couple. And yes, they're robots so they don't really have interest in that stuff. But they mind as well be a couple. So there. Plus they make an AMAZING team if they're both played right, so there's that. Trust me on this. A friend of mine plays Blitzcrank and I play Orianna a lot. We have never once lost our lane before our opponents lost theirs unless we were outnumbered.
Day 8 - Pokemon. Seriously. You read that right. Fucking LOVE Vermillion City's music.
Day 9 - The ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon's main storyline. More so for the second set of games. But yeah, the Mystery Dungeon games are the only games I have ever played that nearly brought tears to my eyes.
Day 10 - UMM...might have to go with old school Sonic on this one. So simple, yet so addicting.
Day 11 - Gotta say my computer.
Day 12 - League of Legends. It's an amazing game, and it never ceases to entertain because nothing ever happens the same way twice.
Day 13 - League of Legends again.
Day 14 - It's a screenshot from The Witcher.
Day 15 - Maybe later. Not playing any games atm. :O

Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in.
Day 20 - Favorite genre.
Day 21 - Game with the best story.
Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you.
Day 23 - Game you think had the best graphics or art style.
Day 24 - Favorite classic game.
Day 25 - A game you plan on playing.
Day 26 - Best voice acting.
Day 27 - Most epic scene ever.
Day 28 - Favorite game developer.
Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving.
Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time.
Day 1 - Very first video game.
Day 2 - Your favorite character.
Day 3 - A game that is underrated.
Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game.
Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
Day 6 - Most annoying character.
Day 7 - Favorite game couple.
Day 8 - Best soundtrack.
Day 9 - Saddest game scene.
Day 10 - Best gameplay.
Day 11 - Gaming system of choice.
Day 12 - A game everyone should play.
Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times.
Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper.
Day 15 - Post a screenshot from the game you’re playing right now.
Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes.
Day 17 - Favorite antagonist.
Day 18 - Favorite protagonist.
Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in.

Read words, kids.
Posted 14 years agoI don't write journals just to write them. I started doing this gaming gauntlet thing hoping that SOMEBODY would respond with their answers and I could have a gamer discussion with them. But no. I've gotten a total of ONE comment over the full 11 days so far. No, Dominicus, a nerd emote doesn't count as a comment.
Seriously guys. Comment. I'm getting tired of making all these journals and announcements and updates on my life just so you guys can select them and hit "delete selected" without even reading them. At least PRETEND to care so I don't feel like the only people who talk to me are the ones who have other ways of contacting me, be it through texts or League of Legends.
Every fucking day I log on to FA to check my messages. And I'm actually excited when it says I have even ONE comment. I'm fucking ECSTATIC on the occasion that I have two. And then I go to them AND THEY'RE JUST A BUNCH OF EMOTES or HALF A SENTENCE. I want ACTUAL conversation. That's why I joined this site, to talk to other people with similar interests as me. NOT to be ignored just because I don't submit something every week like those other guys on your watch list.
I mean, I get it. I make a lot of journals and I talk a lot and I announce stories that I'm going to be working on that never actually come out and I rarely ever actually FINISH a story. But come on. You could at least ASK about them. I honestly believe that part of the reason I'm not motivated to write is because I don't think anybody's paying attention anymore. Sure I can write stuff for myself, but that's not nearly as satisfying as spending a good day playing video games. If you want me to submit something, GIVE ME A FUCKING REASON TO.
And yes. I'M MAD BRO.
Now I'm going to go to sleep. And when I awaken tomorrow I'm going to be amazed by the tremendous number of comments this journal WON'T prompt.

Day 1 - Very first video game.

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game.

30 day Gaming Gauntlet thingy Day 9
Posted 14 years agoDay 1: I believe it was Dr.

30 day Gaming Gauntlet thingy Day 5 (redone)

The Witcher.
Posted 14 years agoWhy is this game so fucking long? I mean, it's a great game and all. But the only reason I'm playing through it again is because apparently you can transfer a save file from The Witcher into The Witcher 2.
AND IT'S TAKING FOREVER. I was near the end of Chapter 2 when I resumed replaying it. And that was a week and a half ago. I'm just now beginning Chapter 4.
Oh, I'm using a family friend's Wifi to upload this. I don't expect to be able to read comments for a little while unless they're made in about twenty minutes or less.

BRB, Gaming.
Posted 14 years agoSo I got Dead Space 2 and The Witcher 2 yesterday. Already nearly beaten Dead Space 2 (I think), but fortunately it came with Dead Space Extraction (FREE BONUS CONTENT YAY!) So I've got much stuff to do. And no, I haven't played The Witcher yet.
Oh, and I'm going on a big long weekend trip for Memorial Day with my family. HOPEFULLY this will be like the last Memorial Day trip I went on and I'll write something. Incidentally, this weekend will be the one-year anniversary of writing of Chapter 1 of Dark Aggron's Story.
OH. Dark Aggron's Story will probably be having a rewrite at some point, seeing as I'm no longer with the girl who the main love interest is named after.
OK! Back to killing mutant alien zombies whilst hallucinating. FUN!

So apparently the world was supposed to end today.
Posted 14 years agoBut it didn't. Dammit. I was kinda hoping something exciting would happen.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4
Posted 14 years agoI went to see the midnight showing of Pirates 4 with a friend of mine. Here are my thoughts on it.
I thought the storyline was on par with that of the first movie, which is good. I can't say I enjoyed the story of the second and third movies quite as much, but the effects were more fun in those two.
Most of the effects weren't quite as good as the other movies, but it definitely had its moments.
On the bright side, there were a bunch of very sexy, very naked mermaids, so that makes up for everything. Not that they actually showed anything important, but still.

My Heroes of Might and Magic 3 story.
Posted 14 years agoIf you haven't read it, here it is. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3805417/
Anyway. I reread it earlier today and it occurred to me how proud of it I am. I don't know why. It's literally just 10 pages of sex with about 3 pages of introduction. It's not even my best writing, even if it is far from my worst.
But I'm so very very proud of it. So yeah. If you haven't read it, go read it. Unless you're not interested in porn.

OMFG! StarFox is about furries!
Posted 14 years ago...Why did it take so long for that to occur to me?
Excitement, I has!
Posted 14 years agoTwo reasons.
First: The Foo Fighters recently released a new album. "Wasting Light", it's called. And I fucking LOVE it. It's like they took all my favorite Foo Fighters songs, improved on them, and released them as one big album. Plus there's the fact that Foo Fighters were the first band I was a serious fan of. Before them I almost never listened to music at all.
Second: I start working on Wednesday. Now why am I excited about that? Because it's the first paying job I've ever actually had. EVER. Oh, and the money will be nice too.
Of course, me getting a job means I'll have even less time to write, so that sucks. But I promise I WILL finish this Golden Sun story. Not that any of you watched me expecting to see Golden Sun stuff.
~Give me some rope, I'm comin loose. I'm hangin on you.~
~Give me some rope, I'm comin loose. I'm pullin for you now.~
~Give me some hope, I'm comin through. I'm countin on you.~
~Give me some rope, I'm comin out of my head, into the clearing.~

Posted 14 years agoSlowbro is just a Slowpoke with a Shellder on its tail. Same goes for Slowking, but Slowking's got the Shellder on its head instead. The point is, each is really two Pokemon at once.
Question 1: How does the Shellder change shape completely just from clamping onto a Slowpoke?
Question 2: How does the Shellder get into the same Pokeball as said Slowpoke?
Question 3: Why the HELL can Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle be male?
