SO UM, apparently a lot of yall thought I just up and quit the internet? :O I've had quite a few people who found me on my new account recently having thought I just disappeared without a trace.

Letting everyone know that I am officially changing accounts! This includes commission email! I've had the name DarthGlacier since I started anything on the internet and I'm just not a huge enough StarWars fan anymore that I want to keep that name, and it's just....I want an original name, not a fan one, everywhere else I'm online I don't ever use the DG name anymore, and I felt it was time to make the change here on FA. X3 I'm making a whole new account because FA is dumb and won't just let me change my account name.

mild delay, by like, just one day. my sister came over for the weekend and I didn't realize how little time I'd have to work since I love spending time with her.

Letting yall know that your funds are greatly helping me this time around with Scotties passing, I got a call from the cremation services for him and I have easily enough to cover the costs thanks to this que of commissions. <333 Thank you everyone!

There may be further delay on commissions than I first thought. Scottie took a turn for the worst at 5 this morning and I had to take him in to the vet when they opened. I had him put to sleep.

I don't know if some of you are unaware, but this dog saved my life. I got him when I was in some of the worst depression years of my life, he kept me from killing myself so many times, he helped calm me when I lost all hope. He kept me alive. He kept me WANTING to be alive. He was my little angel and I'm doing my best to not let this loss destroy me. It's very hard right now, I'm crying a lot. It's not going too well. But I know he wouldn't want me to lose all hope and give up on life. he gave me a new lease on life and I plan to go on.

I need a few days to grief. He was literally my child, I lost the sunshine in my life, but I'm hoping I can move forward and maybe even adopt a new senior dog that is in need of a mom and a home. Not sure when that will be though, if it even happens. But right now I'm a very sad mommy and it's hitting me hard.

Thank you for all your understanding and best wishes for me. I'm not going anywhere, but I will be a tad reclusive so to speak for a bit.

I'm sorry to do this again guys, but just a couple of days delay. Had a bit of an emergency situation with my pup that had me up with him all night and most of the day but now he's doing much better since a visit to the vet. But it left me very exhausted, but I won't be too bad. I should be back on track tomorrow.

Also to anyone who is waiting for picture updates from me, things got a little busy the past couple days, mostly today that me and my mom took out the carpet in my room and rearranged everything, which took about 8 hours altogether. xAx; but I'll be right up doing more picture work tomorrow. :D

So I shat my pants when I found out about the Gigantic Perfect Cell figure by X-Plus a few months ago and the fact that it's the most absolutely perfect detailing I've ever seen in a Cell figure, and it's FUCKING 20 INCHES TALL I CAN PHYSICALLY HUG THIS THING, I want it.

finally able to sit up without pain. :D getting back to work on all these late commissions!

just poking in to say I got gallbladder surgery today and it was a complete success. :) apparently the dr was shocked at how I was even walking around with the amount of pain I must have been in because my gallbladder was extremely swollen, near busting, had a really spikey stone blocking the duct and the bile had gone so bad it turned white. basically, I had a ticking time bomb in me that wouldn’t have lasted more than a couple days more. the only “complication” I say with the surgery was I woke up for a split second after they patched me up when they removed my air tube from my mouth and apparently as I exactly remembered, I threw up. ._. but they sucked it out like pros and I passed back out. I asked the nurse in recovery if that happened in the operating room just to make sure it wasn’t some fever dream I had and she confirmed it happened. xAx;

But the gallbladder is out. recovery is going very smoothly save for the little bit of time I got too cocky about how well I was feeling and lifted a bit too much. >A>; trust me, I’m REALLY taking it easy now. I got home at around 6 in the afternoon, winding down for bed now. We're starting to think that this gallbladder was the bigger source of a lot of my chronic fatigue and pain issues. The thing is with how the doctor explained it, most people would have just keeled over by how far my bladder was gone, but I deal with pain on such a daily basis that I've grown to just tolerate it unless it feels "different" than what my pain usually is. But apparently I'm one tough lady. >:3

thank you all for you good wishes and prayers, and thank you for patience on late times with commission work. I should be back to drawing within about 4-5 days or so considering how great I'm doing already, not the 2 weeks that I originally thought. :)

so I decided to put work on hold until I can get my surgery and recover a few days after that. my dr is currently making the calls where they need to go for a consultation then I'll get a surgery. I woke up at like 5 in the morning in very achey and bloated pain and am pretty much bed ridden and unable to even sit up for long periods to draw.

so for now, things are on hold. I'm not closing or refunding them, they'll still get done, it'll just be in a couple weeks or so. I'm HOPING that my surgery will be next week, so it won't be too long of a wait and gallbladder removal, I'm told, is a very easy recovery post op.

if I feel better on certain days, I might be able to push some work out, but I'm not betting on that with how absolutely tired I feel from immense gas bloating and organ pain. Doesn't help that I'm starting my period next week, and for those who don't know I have a chronic pelvic pain condition which makes my cramps so strong I will physically be on the verge of passing out for the first 3 days. Considering how bad my last one was, I'm pretty sure I actually WILL pass out this time. ;A;

So I need a lot of rest, commissions won't be done on the time frame I set up but they WILL get done within the next couple of weeks AT LEAST.
