Hello everyone!

Your favorite rat, Desu, is here to share some news. Life update and all that. I just
want to start off by saying thank you for everyone who has supported me
throughout my time as a creator here in the furry fandom. I've taken it for
granted, but it meant a lot if you've enjoyed my art, watched my streams, or
even just laughed at my Twitter memes. I truly could not have made it this far
without you. Thank you.

Moving on, the big news is that I'm officially gonna be moving to the mainland United
States by the end of the year. The only delay for me is waiting for my passport to
return from renewal yay . I'm certain many of you know that this is a very big
thing for me. I couldn't have be able to without the help of so many people.
Thank you so much. I truly cannot state how much gratitude i have.

I'm sure you've all noticed the lack of art and streams the past year and that's
because I basically put all my effort in my job. And while I'm grateful for that
job and the experience it gave me, I realized something important. I miss drawing.

I remember in middle school, I had a 3-ring binder that I would bring every day
and I would draw in it. I would make little comics. I remember a Total Drama
Island rip-off; I remember having a comic with the OC I made for Flipnote DSi.
I'd show them to my best friend and we would have so much fun. I called it
"The Blue Binder". It meant the world to me. One time, I got a C on my report
card and my parents took my blue binder away. They said it was distracting me.

They eventually loosened up. Eventually. But after that, I think that's how
I've always viewed art after that. Something about me that wasn't that
important. Some side thing that I'd get distracted by. Something I just did.

My relationship ended up just becoming, "Hey, I'm pretty okay at art. Let's
make money off this." If you've commissioned me before, I'm sure you've
seen how robotic I kinda become in my messages. While I'm sure part of it
is my anxiousness when it comes to talking to new people, I don't think
that excuse really holds up when it came to regulars.

I want that to change. After getting a typical 40 hour workweek life,
I finally see how I want my life to play out. I don't wanna starve myself
of drawing no more! I AM DESTONA32, AND I AM AN ARTIST !!

And prob some minimum wage worker somewhere huehuehue.

I'm sure you've noticed a recent uptick in my art lately, well, that's cuz I'm
trying to warm myself back up for commissions. Expect to see a few sales from me.
I'll be limiting it by slots so I can hold myself accountable and get it done
before moving on to another sale.

Regarding current commissions, I do apologize for the very lengthy wait! I am
in the process of cleaning the drafts for most comms in my current queue. You should
receive a message from me soon! If you haven't yet, feel free to message me! I
try to think I have this all organize, but you never know if something slips
through the cracks. Sorry once again, I sure hope my improvement over the year
will makeup for the wait.

Regarding my Patreon, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it frankly. At the
very least, ALL remaining sketch rewards will still be completed! If I don't just
straight up replace my Patreon, it'll be reworked pretty extensively. Either way,
if you have ever supported me on Patreon, thank you so much!!

Regarding Claws of Despair, I'm sure you can understand why a non-profit project
is in the backburner at the moment haha. Don't fret though, I have been really
workshopping Chapter 2 and I think I finally am able to see the complete picture
of how I want it to play out. I'll have a long plane ride, so I'm sure you all
will have something to look forward to.

Regarding streams, I think think I've made piece with the fact streaming isn't
really what I wanna focus on. Don't worry, I'm not saying it'll never happen
again... In fact, I want to celebrate it. Expect a Desu stream explosion
SOON! I'll be streaming TONS of days !! And not a sub-a-thon because I
very much do not have that kinda energy anymore!!

I'll be playing games I've always wanted to play as well as replay some
classics. Maybe even complete some games?? Oh... and ART!!!! ART STREAMS!!
EXPECT ART STREAMS !!!!!!! WE'RE SO BACK !!!!! I'M AN ARTIST BABYYYYY !!!!

But on a serious note. I would not be here if not for streaming. I wouldn't
have met the people I find the most important for me. I wouldn't have any
direction in life at all. Period. And the support I received at my peak...
It makes me so happy that I could make so many people happy. And that's
all I ever want. This isn't a "goodbye" to Desu streams. This is a "kick some ass,
and see you later".

No matter what you come to me for, I hope you enjoy what I do and create.
I won't let anyone take my creativity from me ever again. So I hope you
enjoy whatever I have in store in the future. Thank you.

Hello, it's me! I just wanted to give a quick status update on how I'm gonna handle Top King moving forward! As you've clearly experienced, I tend to fluctuate on how productive on the series and that's kinda just how my workflow is on personal projects. It looks like I'm hitting another break right before Round 2 starts, and I just wanted to communicate that to all of you!

I just got a new laptop and growing accustomed to new software and new tablet settings, so I wanted to focus on more personal artwork and commissions before continuing. Ideas for Round 2 are still bubbling! (In fact, only like one of the matches is left for me to come up with any kinda idea! Anyone wanna help with brainstorming Midnight and Griffin?)

More content is still gonna be available on Patreon early, of course! I'm gonna try to do more personal art in the coming months to get used to all the new stuff (and commissions of course haha. Almost done with this batch!)! I appreciate all the support you all have given me over... like 6 months? Hell, some of you supported me even before Top King! It's been a hot minute haha. Thank you so much!

If you have any suggestions or comments on any of my works, feel free to leave them here! I'm always looking for more interaction between me and my fans. If any of my interactions with y'all ever seem robotic or seem like canned lines I copy and pasted. Well that's because they are haha. Okay, so, like. This journal isn't anything interesting or that important. I'm just curious about general opinions on Top King so far. Be it the comic (both wrestling and slice of life), characters, layouts, or handling of it. You don't need to go super in depth but I just kinda wanna gauge what everyone thinks of it so far!

Oh, and I also wanna let some things be known about it. I am pretty stingy on how things get uploaded cause FA doesn't seem to have any kind of... folder sorting? That's why it's been [SLICE OF LIFE] -> [VOTING] -> [FULL ROUND]. It's cause I'm forced to keep the navigation experience having a nice flow within FA's gallery rules. That's also the reason there are so many navigation links in the images. I want first time readers to easily navigate through everything Top King has to offer. I'm currently finetuning the navigation though so if things change, that's why. I'm also looking into other sites to host Top King as well. (e621 maybe? it's kinda intimidating to learn haha.)

But yeah, feel free to share any opinions you have! The main things I kinda wanna know is general opinions, any issues people have, and... a bit self-indulgent but i am curious about opinions on the characters haha. Anyway, y'all have a good day!

With each fighter revealed, there's nothing to do but get the tournament started! 16 great fighters, but only one can be the victor! Who will come out as the Top King?! Only way to find out is to stick around and root for your favorite!

What is this?

This is a single-elimination tournament where the fighters get in the wrestling ring to find out who's the top! The goal is to sexually dominate your opponent and get them to submit and prove to be too much of a bottom to get the title of Top King! In order for a fighter win they have to nut in their opponent's ass or mouth; or if they wish to humiliate their opponent, force their opponent to nut out in the open! And best of all, you will help decide the winner through voting!

How does the voting work?

Voting starts with a match image with a title and description noting that voting has begun very clearly. The post will have a link to a poll that will collect the results for each round! Simply click the link and vote who you want to win!

When voting is finished, the votes will be tallied and each fighter will receive points equal to the amount of votes they received! After that a d20 will be rolled for each character and that number will be added to their point total! Whoever has the most points wins the match! So please vote for your favorite so they have a higher chance of winning! [Note: I'm doing this dice modifier as a bit of a test. I personally think that this will add a level of excitement to the tourney, but if it proves to be unpopular then I will remove it. Please just remain civil as this is supposed a silly and fun NSFW project.]

However, don't get too cozy with this system as the championship match will be only decided by vote! Good luck to everyone!

Hey gamers, I got a question for y'all! So for people who don't know how this tournament works is that for each match for the tournament, the victor will be decided by group vote! So whoever gets the most vote will become the victor! However, I personally enjoy a factor of randomess when it comes to these things. Imagine an upset for someone who only received single digit votes to win, that's just epic! I'm curious about what's all of your opinions on this RNG factor? I'm thinking about rolling a 20 sided dice (yes a physical one cause i had/have a DnD phase lol) and adding what is rolled to the vote count of each fighter.


I know it's not really everyone's cup of tea so I just wanna gauge how you all feel about the victor being affected by the roll of the dice alongside the group vote?

EDIT: I got curious and went ahead and did some basic stat calculations. Not doing this to be like that guy who's trying to appear right by bringing in numbers. I just thought it was interesting so I just did it lol.

So for example, let's say I count the votes and it looks like:

Person A: 15 votes
Person B: 3 votes

Here is the probability of the B's wins if A rolls low:

A rolls 1, B rolls 14+: 5% * 35% = 1.75% B wins
A rolls 2, B rolls 15+: 5% * 30% = 1.50% B wins
A rolls 3, B rolls 16+: 5% * 25% = 1.25% B wins
A rolls 4, B rolls 17+: 5% * 20% = 1.00% B wins
A rolls 5, B rolls 18+: 5% * 15%= 0.75% B wins
A rolls 6, B rolls 19+: 5% * 10% = 0.50% B wins
A rolls 7, B rolls 20: 5% * 5% = 0.25% B wins
A rolls 8+: 0% B wins

With these votes, B has a 7% chance of winning and A has a 93% chance of demolishing B.

I then got curious and made the votes a bit more even.

Not gonna bore you with more stats, so the overall chance of B winning is 47.5% and A has a 52.5%. A has a slight advantage but it's basically 50/50 at this point. While that seems unfair, keep in mind that it means my audience was basically split on the choice so half of my audience will always get what they want!!

Basically, I don't want people to be like... "All my faves are unpopular so they just get deleted ):" I want to give them a fighting chance. As long as the votes aren't unanimous, there will be people who don't get what they want. I just wanted to give a small sprinkle of hope with this lmao.
