This week is the second annual Monster Week, an event organised by YouTubers Ginny Di and Pointy Hat, where all the DnD YouTubers produce content related to a specific creature from the Monster Manual. Last year it was Kraken Week, this year it is dedicated to our favourite family of creatures, the dragons!

This is a great way to find new content creators and experience as much draconic goodness as possible! There is everything from art and rules discussions, to homebrew content and free adventures!

Happy First Contact Day! On this day in 38 years time, after WW3 and the post-nuclear horror, the engineer and visionary Zephram Cochrane will make the first human warp-speed flight around the Sol system, thus attracting the attention of a Vulcan survey vessel that will be passing through. These Vulcans, including Ambassador Solkar, grandfather of Spock, will initiate the first official contact, starting the path towards the United Federation of Planet's founding!

I hope all your First Contact salmon dinners are delicious and that the Federation anthem sounds loud.

May everyone strive to move our society towards peace, science, exploration, friendship, and equality, the ideals on which the Federation will be built.
