Heya everyone, just so everyone knows I'm still around and active as I'm doing fine. The zard mugen project is going smoothly and Is being worked on as I speak. It's still a very expensive project so I'm trying my best to have everything done by the end of the month then coding it all a few days later which should be pretty easy. I'd say this project basically took over $1k outta my pocket to make and put me in tough situations so I hope you all understand the sacrifices I made just to get these anims done as fast as I could.

Alrighty this will be likely my final journal concerning the charizard edit as some people have helped me with my financial troubles concerning the edit and i greatly appreciate it. In other news, The edit shall begin getting more sprites in February, it originally was going to be january but the spriter is a bit more busy than usual and needs a bit more time so once we do get to that month everything should be good and i can get the edit hopefully finished by march and then only when it is fully completed i shall release it for everyone.

Hello again, just here to state some positive news regarding the edit. Basically my job situation has improved significantly and I'll be able to fund a majority of the project myself, however I will say that I will need a smaller amount still just to cover at least one of the animations being about $150-200. If I could obtain these funds roughly by let's say...end of next week then everything should be good to go and i can handle the rest from there. Just a lil followup from the previous journal i have now created a kofi to make any and all donations toward the project much easier rather than my previous discord method. Again you don't have to donate if you don't want to, all that changes is the time it'll take for the edit to be completed. The absolute fastest time being in about 1-2 months time if the project gets even to 50% of it's target goal. Alright it's been a good while and the progress for the Charizard edit has been going fairly smooth however the only issue I'm currently having is purely just the financial side. Basically in order for me to see this edit actually get completed I'm definitely going to require some aid in that regard. I started this project back when my rent was low at $306 a year ago but now my rent has shot up to $1050 and trying to maintain that and also fund something that's roughly gonna be $130-160 per 30-40 frame animation is very hard to do. Just letting you all know. The good thing is however is that the Charizard is about 60% finished and in it's early alpha state so if you wanna try it out I'd appreciate any type of aid in helping me fully complete it as the finished version will be free and released once properly coded.

I've been thinking of some things and I'm currently a bit stuck on what I might make for a second character once this Charizard is done. I suppose I have a question to ask just so it helps me decide, would you like to see one of my custom ocs as a brand new character or rather a custom oc that comes from popular media like pokemon? Just wondering is all.

Thanks to some very nice and supportive individuals the current goal for the edit is at $120/$400 currently. Unfortunately though I believe Oct 4th is when my light bill is due and because of unfortunate circumstances I actually can't afford it this time so if you wanna donate at all now is the time. I'll likely be accepting donations for the edit up until the 3rd of October if the goal isn't met and we can go from there.

Well this is the first time i've ever made a journal entry and i've been thinking about the mugen project i'm working on and i've realized that if i both want to keep this edit going and even keep myself with a roof over my head i'm gonna need some additional help as it comes to it. Basically due to specific issues in life and a large rent increase it's been getting harder each day to upkeep myself and keep things stabilized so i decided to think of this as a possible resolution to my issue, basically i've decided that i am willing to make the charizard edit possibly public if i can get some financial aid in the process. I'm trying to reach about $400ish to cover the costs of living situations and other things so if you guys want you can help me out if not that's fine too. Anyone that does donate will be getting the edit in the future personally, just know this edit won't exactly be completed right away as the best thing i have right now is an early alpha build of it finished. Lastly keep in mind until i say i make it public that i would advise you not to upload the edit to mugenarchive or Ak1/any other archive mugen site as all this does for you is make all my future projects guaranteed private so just a heads up.
