Posted 5 years agoI honestly hadn't realized how far behind I was on posting things until I sat down today and started to do it. But I think, I think that this is currently all of it. I'm also currently in the process of trying to figure out possible cover art for my 'Of Mythos and Ancient Lore' series, and then I'll begin to post my first story for the set; 'The Naga and the Crane'. As much as I would absolutely love to have images for both major players in the story, I simply don't have the proper bases that I would need.
Speaking of which; Has anyone ever seen a male Crane base? I have two male bird bases at the moment, but neither one of them features a crane-like beak. I also do not have a Naga base that allows for more humanoid facial features as well as hair. If you see bases like these please give me a shout, I'd be eternally grateful!

Posted 5 years agoFor a lot of the stuff I now plan on uploading, I'm just kind of waiting on cover art to post with it. Sure, I could start posting it all now and add the art later, but.....
That's rational. And that word isn't in my vocabulary.
I've also decided to completely re-work the species I was making, completely from the ground up. So for that, that might take a while. But I will start working on uploading things soon. There's so much art to catch up on, adopts I need to finish and post, and possibly six self-written horror stories that I might post on here and see how they do.
Other than that, I hope you are all happy and safe.

Posted 5 years agoThere's so much I need to do/upload but I've managed to, once again, find myself awkwardly busy. Doesn't help that I've found myself trying to balance two different MMOs at one time while also getting ready to allow Yoko Taro to take entire ownership of my phone as well as my soul.
I am currently working on a "semi-closed" species and I'll be putting up all that information first before getting back to my regularly scheduled shenanigans. I'm also debating if I want to just abandon my website completely and either start making actual use of my AO3 account or if I want to try writing somewhere else like Tumblr (though probably not) or if I plan on just putting everything here from now on. I still don't know how I feel about putting 100% human writing on this website which is supposed to be geared towards the furry community, but I'm trying to think about it. I've been told that people both can and cannot easily access my personal website, so I'm still unsure what route I should take.
Other than that, I hope you're all doing okay in these trying times. If you ever feel like you just want someone to talk to, know that my inbox is always open. I'm a constant ball of paranoia, but I can and will do my best if someone needs a friendly ear.

RoawrzzList of New/Closed Species?
Posted 5 years agoI've come to the point where I've possibly, accidentally, created an individual or creature that could possibly be considered a "new" species. The ony reason I haven't really made it "official" yet, specifically for one species I've accidentally developed and am now in love with that I would wish to make a closed s[ecies, is because I have genuinely no idea if someone has come before me and put together this exact combination of features/species before.
Is there some pre-existing or currently updating list about created or closed species that people can look at to determine if an idea they have has been done before? Or do people usually just go with it? I'm relatively new to all this and the last thing I want is to end up stepping on someone's creative toes completely by accident because I just didn't know any better. I've been trying to look around the internet and what I tend to find is either people's definitions of what an open, semi-open, and closed species are or the argument that closed species should not exist.
I personally wouldn't mind making one of my species open, I guess, as I'm certain other people have done and would love to do something of the kind (if they were so inclined towards beings of the robotic and mechanical pursuasion like myself) but for the other species? As I made them purely while putting together the main character for a new novel I am going to attempt to write, I'm not necessarily sure I truly want to suddenly see crazy amounts of them everywhere. Which I know is kind of odd, but in the canon of what I intend to write the species is incredibly endangered, therefore there should not be an abundance of them that exist. I've also ended up making a set of rules/restrictions for them, mostly for myself as I create them, and realize that if I made them an open or semi-open species others would have to follow them. Have to, but possibly won't (my faith in humanities ability to respect the wishes of a tiny nobody on some random corner of the internet is non-existent at best).

I'm sorry if I tricked you into thinking there's quality here. I mean, I guess there is sometimes, but mostly not. Tomorrow starts the beginning of me testing out my work schedule, so hopefully soon I'll be uploading some stories here. If I don't get distracted by playing around with more bases.

I can write a little at a time, and on whatever strikes my fancy at the moment, but trying to sit myself down and force myself to write only ends in me getting nothing done at all

Posted 5 years agoI should probably use journals more, just for the fact that if I don't make notes I'll inevitably forget what I'm trying to do.
At the moment I find myself really enjoying coloring bases, and I feel like I'm getting better at it. I might even update my first "official adopt", then put her back on the market with a dropped price. Maybe make a whole dessert set that comes with a discount if you get more than one. Who knows. I've a wide library of bases now but I'd certainly love to have more. It's a nice break for my brain.getting there...

✎ Streamin[color=#7B22BF]g[/color] Schedule
As of right now I don't really have a definite "streaming schedule" due to multiple reasons. The main reason being that, in a few days, I will be having dental surgery that will require at least a week or two of recovery if things don't go tits-up. The other reason, for those of you who don't follow me on Twitter, is that my housing situation currently doesn't really allow for promising a continuous streaming schedule. There is a 50/50 chance that, in May, that'll all be taken care of, but until then or if plans fall through I will simply be streaming whenever I'm able.
At the moment I do a lot of co-op streams and then a lot of just dicking around and playing whatever has caught the attention of my brain. Paladins will probably always be a staple of my streaming channel, so look forward to that in the future along with things like Temtem.
Also I am a mod for a lot of my streamer friends, so I'll do my best not to overlap streams too often! Instead, I'll simply point you in their direction instead on Twitter!

Depression is one hell of a bitch. I'm going to trying and do my best, but some days I'll probably be streaming or just playing a game with you nerds in my discord rather than writing. When my mood tanks, so does my creative ability.
But, if and when I can write, this will be the schedule for it.
