By commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the terms of service below.
Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, before the commission.
I. GENERAL TERMS.
●Please provide references.
●Courtesy is required. Being rude will be met with the commission being canceled.
II. PAYMENT
●All commissions are paid upfront.
●The currency accepted is L$ (SecondLife) and USD.
●Payment with USD: Paypal only
●Payment with L$: Secondlife only
III. PROCESS
●Works in progress are given frequently. Throughout the entire process, I will provide as many as I can. For art, it's generally watermarked. For skins, it's generally screen captures of the skin *on* the body and parts requested.
●I *will* ask a lot of questions throughout the process, to make sure that there are no errors on my part.
●I DO give a time frame for when your commission will be done, but I jump between projects depending on complexity and my willingness to work on it. If I expect to go past the deadline, you will be notified.
●I go through a lot of revisions, which means you will get a lot of WIPs, which is why all commissions are paid for upfront.
IV. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
●I do everything I can to make sure the customer is satisfied.
●However, once a commission is finished, only small changes are allowed to be made.
●What small changes? Coloring/marking mistakes or mistakes on my part (Such as forgetting a beauty mark).
●If the reason for the mistake is due to a reference not being clear, then no changes can be made without a fee. So make sure you're as clear as possible about what you want!
V. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY
I, the artist, hold every right to the produced drawing, not the commissioner. Therefore I´m allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to;
●Promote my work in any place or site.
●Publish books with.
●To display it anywhere to my liking.
●Post it wherever I want.
The commissioner is allowed to;
●Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.
●Print the art, and claim the right of their character(s) but not the drawing itself.
●Use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to the artist(s).
If you break the copyright infringement in any way, every right you had to the drawing will be retracted.
The following is considered Copyright infringement:
●Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially. (Meaning making money from it in any way)
●Taking Credit for the creation of the artwork.
●Removing any watermarks/signatures.
●Altering the artwork without my, the artist´s, consent.
I do regularly use base kits from other artists. Those artists *MUST* be credited and will usually be listed on the art itself. Any posts that I make using this art will credit the artists that created the kits that I use.
VI. CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY
●I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
●Once money has been exchanged and WIPs have been shared, the right to cancel/refund is revoked. If I have already started on your commission, the right to cancel/refund is revoked.
●If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers.
●You will be forbidden from ever commissioning me, Elwin Ailred, ever again.
●Your name will be publicly posted everywhere I want to for others to watch out for.
●I also have every right to file a complaint and I have all the right to the money you have given me.
Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, before the commission.
