Account swaps
Posted 15 years agoJust a heads up, I will be starting this week to transfer all of my online activity to new accounts. I am moving to a new FA page, if for nothing else than ease of finding me on FA
My new account is http://www.furaffinity.net/user/erro
Easy to find, eh?
It is still being put together, I'm working on it during my free time (haven't had much of that since I got back from Cali)
I will also be replacing all of my instant messengers and emails. I've had them long enough to be subject to spam and other annoyances, and for the most part I am trying to uniform everything just to make contacting me simple and organized.
I'll be posting my FC report soon, still settling into routine again :P

Back from Cali
Posted 15 years agoGot home this evening from Further Confusion. It was a blast, etc. etc. I will give a full con report later. Probably tomorrow while I'm bored at work. Too tired now, crazy weekend, traveling, stuff, and unfortunately an eye injury to top things off, so I'll type more when I can see properly again :P
FC
Posted 15 years agoSo I totally didn't give any notice that I was going, but I'm at the Fairmont in San Jose for the weekend. I'll be here for the whole con. I have all of the instant messengers listed on my page on my phone, and you can note me for your number. Hit me up if you're here!
Christmas?
Posted 15 years agoToo lazy...
Posted 15 years ago...to make separate entries here. So have a LJ link instead :P

Stuff missing from that:
This page thingy. I need to do something with it xD. I was looking through my FA page today, and realized that (photographs aside) it's been a year since I last posted anything I've done. Unfortunately, that is completely because I have done nothing worth posting. Maybe, hopefully, I will do something fun soon enough.

Happy Guy Fawkes Day! (belated)
Posted 16 years agoI was busy today, and stuff, wandered all over town with some fuzzy folks, didn't even get up until like 1pm, etc, so I forgot all about it until I saw it on someone's IM status. Ah well.

Hella late update and assorted shenanigans
Posted 16 years agoOH MY GOD!!! Has it really been FIVE FUCKING MONTHS since I updated my journal???
Fuck has it been busy. Well, I'm gonna sort out what I can quick. I have work in... *checks clock* something like six hours, and I still need to sleep, but meh.
Anyway! So just a quicky, the military thing is done and over with, I got a new job, it's fucking sweet, I make monies, and... stuff. Life doesn't suck monkey balls for the first time in a while, aaaaand... yeah.
Second item of the day, I made a LJ. It's Faver's fault, goddamnit >.>
Anyway, you can find it here ---> http://erro-wolf.livejournal.com/
I might updated it more than this one xD
And lastly! ZOMBIELAND! Oh... my... fucking... gawd, I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in ages. That shit was simply off the wall. If you haven't seen it yet, go do it, like now. I don't care that it's coming on midnight. Stop reading this shit and go to the fucking theater.
Now.

Overdue update
Posted 16 years agoOk, well I was waiting until everything was set in stone to post an official update, but I'm kinda tired of waiting for such a time, so I'm posting up a little note now so that everyone can be filled in on what's going on and why I haven't been around much or talkative, for those of you that usually communicate with me (and those of you that keep nagging me to finish one of the 3829842423 stories that are sitting in my notebook waiting to be finished/edited).
On Friday, March 13th, I swore in to the US Army Reserves. I haven't yet gone for basic training, waiting on paperwork to get sorted out and all that fun shit, hence why I haven't posted an 'official update' on all of what's going on. As it stands, I should be leaving sometime in the next month. BCT is 9.5 weeks, so sometime in the summer I'll be online again and hopefully back to drawing and writing.
Now that I've made a whole bunch of people go D=!!!!! I'll slip in the nicer side of things. I'll be back 'home' from training in the fall, with a whole lot of green in my pocket (WHOO!! \o/) and work for the military a whole 2 days a month. I have some decent work I plan on digging up, so life should actually be stable for once in a very long time.
So, for the next few weeks, expect to see less and less of me, until I more or less vanish from the face of the earth for a couple months. Don't worry, I'm not dead, I'll be back, and better than ever when I am =D
I'll miss you guys, look out for me to come back
Ciao, for now ~ =3

Snowfall!! / Furnation
Posted 16 years agoFirst order of business
ITS MOTHER F***ING SNOWING IN OREGON WWWWHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
We went out driving in it today, which was fun
Then I realized that I'll be walking to work in it.
...not so fun
Second thingy!
For those of you that play second life (prolly not a whole lot of you, but oh well) I have taken over management of one of the Furnation sims, so if you go to furnation, come find Erro Zenovka in Furnation Purgatory (its that one north of Furnation Hell, someone was being silly :P). Granted, this kinda means I've had no life for the last week, doing management deals and such and... blah, tired wuff >.< but it'll be worth it when all is said and done.
I think...
=3
(p.s. the sim I'm running is a residential sim, so if you know anyone that rents land in SL, totally send them to me =D)

Portland!!
Posted 17 years agoBelated journal, I've been busyish for the last few days. Grey and I finally made it to Portland, Oregon, in one ...well two working pieces. Cost a hell of a lot more than expected, and I very much did not enjoy the last week of my life, but things could be looking up from here, eh?
So! HELLOOOOOOOO OREGON! It's fuckin pretty here! Other than the fact that its like... constantly overcast, and I haven't seen sunlight in over a week now. I kinda miss that about Colorado, but I guess it will come around eventually.
So, to a fresh start, hopefully one that will land in a good direction this time. Going to get a new place, a new job, a new motorcycle (<3), and well... stuff! yeah!
Anybody that's in the Oregon/Washington area, give a shout!
*howls*

Murphy's law...
Posted 17 years agoYeah, it applies.
Well, for those who didn't know (most of you, since it wasn't really an announced thing), Greyscale and I moved out of the place we were renting in Denver, and started out yesterday evening on our 20 hour trip from Colorado to Oregon. Luck held out for the first 8 hours...
...and then Grey's Pathfinder decided it would be a good idea to put a rod through the block. So now we are sitting in a hotel in Evanston, Whyoming, with an out of commission vehicle and barely enough cash to make it to the end of the week.
So, if you guys don't hear from me for a while, you know what happened xP
I hate your guts, Murphy.

Talk like a Pirate Day
Posted 17 years agoYaarrrrrr mateys!! Ahoy thar!!
Yes, it is that time of year, and I have to sit back and laugh, because for two years now, something ironic and amusing has always happened on this day.
The first time I heard about Talk like a Pirate day, I was in college. Being the geeky tabletop game loving sort that I was, I was part of the Alfred Roleplaying Guild. Thats A.R.G, for those of you that didn't catch it already. Ok, well... we found it amusing :P.
I actually kinda missed it last year, I was at work that day, and most people on a construction site wouldn't get it x3
And then today, without even realizing it is that wonderfully hilarious time of year, I started ..ahm ...'acquiring' more music to rebuild my destroyed archive.
Just random tidbits of amusement =3
Stay fuzzy, guys.

Shafted
Posted 17 years agoSo, for all of you that have been eagerly awaiting the release of the first chapter of my book, I really have to apologize for being so far behind. Unfortunately, it seems that whatever god there just might happen to be in this world is really, really pissed off at me for some reason.
Long story short, I wrecked my car on the way to Colorado at the beginning of the year. Without the money to do anything with it, I wound up leaving it with an outdated inspection sticker, expired insurance, and voided plates, tucked next to the apartment building my friends rent, where it has been just peachy for the last two months.
Turns out, someone finally took a disliking to my vehicle being there, and I got a message this afternoon from my friend saying they want it moved by friday or they are towing it. So somehow I am supposed to get to a city an hour north of here, and move a car that is completely not road legal in any way to ...someplace to store it, cause I don't really have anyplace for it.
Sooooo I get to pretty much abandon the car and let them tow it, cause there isn't really much else I can do about it. I don't really know what the legalities on the matter are, nor do I much care, I just want it the hell out of my life, because I'm tired of it.
Ya, so for all of you that keep wondering why I haven't finished yet, this and other such drama have been occupying pretty much all of my attention. I'll get back on track sometime and finish it, probably after I go postal on a few people that have managed to drive me absolutely insane, so I might be posting the rest whenever they let me out of my straitjacket. =P
Someone buy me a drink?

Soooooooo the rl world may have just gotten a little bumpier.
I, like the large majority of the fandom, have a family who is a) not overly tolerant of things, and b) totally clueless. Thankfully, the most of them live 1600+ miles away in any given direction, so I don't have to worry too much about them directly affecting my life.
Even so, awkward moments do creep up.
Once upon a long time ago, I was really big into Facebook. You know, back when it was new, simple, easy to use, and didn't have "ARGH Eaten by ZOMBIEZ!!! what's your favorite movie? you got a sticker \o/ Yay!" written all over it, which is more or less why my last login there was sometime in April. Now, I actually discovered the furry fandom there, and back then I was very, very involved in the furry groups there, one of the most well known faces in every furry group the site had. It even lists right there on the top of my profile page that I'm bisexual.
Now, not having logged in since forever and a day ago, I in my epic boredom decided to look, just for the hell of it. +9000 clicks of the 'Ignore Notification" button later, I stopped dead at a friend request notice. ...from my sister o_o;;;
So I'm just kinda ...tiptoeing around that one, not too sure what to say about it, so I'm just sorta pretending I didn't see it and hoping it goes away. Thankfully, it's one of the more liberal and tolerant members of my family, so I don't really expect much drama. Creepy though, I feel so stalked now xD.
And for those of you that keep threatening to murder me. I'M ALMOST DONE, DAMNIT Dx. Go find more people to read it :P, it will be posted very soon.

Down with the Sickness
Posted 17 years agoFigures, this would happen as soon as I set a deadline for myself on anything. Unfortunately, I'm more than likely going to have to push the post date on this chapter back past Friday.
It would seem, apparently, as soon as I set myself to doing something, my body gives me the giant middle finger of dewm and goes "FUUUUUCK YOUUUUUUUU" at the top of its lungs. I wrote my last journal and turned in for some much needed rest, to wake up yesterday morning with the most incredibly painful stomach ache ever. Yay for a whole day of laying in bed and trying not to move x.x At the least, I got caught up on sleep, I guess. Recovering quite a bit faster than I expected to, so I should be back on track very soon ^_^
I'll update as things come along.
Stay fuzzy, guys =3

In the beginning...
Posted 17 years agoOk, so first off: WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HOLIDAYZ!!!!! =D
not... that it really affects me, since I ...don't do anything all day anyway. But that's besides the point *puts paw to lips* so shush.
Actually, I've been a rather busy wuff, I left town for a few days to go do that 'work' thing so I could have some of that green shit people call 'money', and pay that annoying 'rent' thingy. So yeah. OH, and I managed to get dragged into an overnight camping tip in the Rockies. So, finally back home again, wheee.
On to business! I started writing a story that got itself stuck in my head a few days ago. Other than the above mentioned activities, it has more or less consumed all of my time. Which is cool, I guess, since I totally love doing it. One of those things I always wanted to do since I was young was be a professional author. If I actually make it that far (I can have pipe dreams, right?) I swear I will throw one big ass party and you are all invited.
So I'm almost done with chapter one, which in and of itself has been quite the feat. Yes, its got some naughty yiffy parts in it, I'm a hornball furry stfu already =P. Sadly, I know its going to get itself rewritten a good half dozen times before I'm actually satisfied with it, but have patience, it will arrive soon enough! I'm gonna slip a teaser clip from the original draft in my submissions, so READ IT! and COMMENT! DO IT! Also, whore it to your friends. I want to know what people think of it so far, and if I'm on the right trail. I've already had some people ask when the hardcover will be out xD so needless to say I'm totally hyped.
I have some revisions to do, some friends are proofreading and sending notes back to me already, and I have to go out and find someone to doodle a nice thumbnail pic cause that "story" thumb is so dull and boring and NOT attention getting. I have no monies to commish atm, so omg I'm asking for a freebie bad wolf bad! whatever. All told, I HOPE to have chapter one all done, edited, and posted for your reading pleasures by Friday. That doesn't mean that it's GOING to be done by then, but I'm kinda hoping, cause otherwise this book is gonna take me ages to finish. So yeah... READ IT. OR ELSE... STUFF... yeah... >_>
Stay fuzzy, peace

down sketchbook, up pen
Posted 17 years agoSwitching angles for a bit. I've been getting frustrated with drawing lately, just seem to be lacking the drive to produce something worth looking at. A few recent discussions and a lot of reading have inspired me to write, though, so I am relenquishing drawing for the time being and working instead on the story that has been slowly coming together in my head. I should be done with the first chapter soon enough, I just keep finding shit to get sidetracked into writing out, but it's coming along well. I expect all that have me watched to get a story submission soon.
Tagged x.x
Posted 17 years agoOk, well, I got tagged and I guess out of the spirit of random stupid internet bullshit I'll succumb to it, because I have nothing better to do besides work on my leaning tower of coke cans at 6am. So.... whatever. Arc I'm gonna murder you later, just a heads up.
Character Questioning
1. choose a few of your own characters. Five at the most.
2. make them answer the following questions.
3. then tag three people.
Characters:
Just gonna do Erro, since I've pretty much dropped all the rest of my characters.
How old are you?
20
What is your high?
5' 8"
Are you a virgin?
Aaahahahahahaha.... ahah ...ha....
>_>
Do you have any kids?
Fuuuuuuuck that shit
Favorite food:
Steak, cooked in sherry wine. Mmmmm <3
Favorite Ice Cream:
Vanilla. So versatile (love root beer floats <3)
Have you every killed anyone?
not that I remember.
Do you hate anyone?
only the ones that deserve it
Do you have any secrets?
Do you really want to go there? srsly? liek ...srsly? yeah, didn't think so.
Do you love anyone?
*cough*
What is your job?
Freelance Model
What do you do to relax?
Hookah! <3 also, since I don't have my own (yet) usually I chill with some good music.
What do you think your life expectancy is?
well... I'm getting a motorcycle, so...
What is your favorite song?
Fuckin hate this question. I always have a different answer. Korn, Faget.
Do you like girls or boys?
I swing both ways, but teh kawk seems to hold my attention better. (also doesn't deny me sex for a week every 28 days)
skipping the extra questions/tagging/etc. bullshit for now, if I get un-lazy-fied later I'll come back and edit this, but not right now *tired wuff*
peace fuzzies

Posted 17 years agoI got suckered into this one. It can replace my usual rantings, since I don't have anything special to say right now :P
There is at least one person on your watch list that wants to fuck the hell out of you.
So lets play the Fuck or Pass game.
The rules are simple.
If you want to fuck the person who posts this, send him or her a reply saying only "Id Fuck You." But you have to post this in your journal in exchange.
same with the pass just say pass
And marvel at the replies.

sketchin's and skribblez
Posted 17 years agoObligatory blabbering cuz I haven't posted in 3 days.
Well, the endless staring match between me and my sketchpad wears on. I almost won a couple times, I swear it was gonna blink. All that talk about deserts and sand and such didn't really have much effect, but I felt it for a bit, it was going to give in. srsly!
Well, really I just haven't had the focus I guess. Inspiration has been coming and going, but just like it was when I played guitar, something will come to my head, and by the time I get the thing in my hands to make it solid, its gone. I've been trying though, there are considerably more scribbles and eraser marks in my sketchpad than there were at the beginning of the week. I'm really trying to buckle down on facial anatomy and features, not working myself up to expressions yet but just trying to get ...something in there. I'll get it, damnit all D:
Other stuff... uhh... I should be getting back to my own home soon, got a new roommate moving from across the country, so stuffs to be excited for whooo =3. Also, the job search continues, though I've been getting a good number of decent replies. One local agent wants me to work out more Dx even less time to practice drawing (I know, 'shut up Erro, you don't do anything with your time anyway'. Leave me alone). It will get there, just like my artwork, with any bit of luck.
In the meantime, I've officially addicted myself to Kyell's work on Yiffstar, been reading it pretty much all day for the last half a week. Damn good stuff, it is.
Nothing else new from me. Just staring blankly off and waiting for someone else to post something cool to look at. Kinda slow with that, I haven't gotten many notifications in the last couple days. Apparently I'm not the only one in a inspirational funk.
Peace, fuzzyz

Waterways/progress
Posted 17 years ago(second attempt, discovering its important to hit tab instead of enter. Live and learn)
So, on my 'vacation' of sorts (I seem to take a lot of these, as was pointed out to me tonight), chillin with some local furs in the Denver area. They are all passed out, 'cept for one who is at work right now, so I hijacked a stray laptop to catch up. So nice, even in my attempt to 'get away', to sign on and see messages from those I care for.
So, other than this laptop, I managed to also hijack a book this weekend, which I just finished a few minutes ago. Without a doubt, it has found itself near the very top of my all time favorite books. I admit I probably spent about ten minutes staring at the back cover after I closed it, just mulling over the 300 pages of literary goodness that managed to captivate me for the entirety of this weekend. For those interested, the book is called Waterways, by Kyell Gold (I stuck a link somewhere at the bottom of this entry). It's about a young male couple, in the final years of their childhood, struggling to make things work as they explore each other, and discover themselves. For the casual reader, it is a good read, a well drawn plot that will hold your attention to the last page. For those who are like myself, it may be a bit more. It's been a good while since I've read a book that I really attached to, that has actually managed to get me to set it down time and again, to sit back in silent contemplation, lost in thoughts of all manner of things. Reflection on myself, my own mentalities and my own history, as well as searching for insight from the characters in the novel. Not many books have made me bite my lip as I turned to the next page. Kudos, Kyell, and for those reading this, check it out.
Second order of business. I've managed to accomplish a grand total 0 counts of even taking my sketch pad out of my backpack. Really not sure what this mental block is thats holding me down from pushing myself the way I know I want to. I really do need to get off my tail and get to it, I know, because I've learned that waiting for life to reach out and bitchslap your ass to your senses is a fools errand. I suppose once I'm done checking messages here and poking around the forum, I'll go get it out. Its nice and quiet, a cool Colorado night tonight, and everyone else is in bed. Good chance to clear my aching head and direct my focus to my art. I'm really growing tired of posting about this f#@$ing artist's block, so damned if I don't get something done soon, eh? Ciao, fuzzies =3
A small afterthought edit. One line in Waterways really caught my attention, and I thought it worth posting for all to see. In the story, there is a plaque on a house, with this written upon it: Beneath my roof, let all gather without fear or hate; for if we are to banish them from this world, we must first begin at home.
