In the dim light, she rode him. It wasn't the pleasure but the way he looked at her. It wasn't the moment he said it, but his voice and how he said it. Her breath caught in her throat and she couldn't breathe. For a moment, when she looked in his eyes, she was trapped. She couldn't breathe, couldn't move. Time had stopped as the world came to pause around them. His words and hid voice filled the emptiness, what was left when time stopped. And to her he said, "You're beautiful." How do you know if you have it? Is it just something you know? Is it something someone else tells you that you've got? How do you understand whether you're depressed or not, really? I don't hate myself, I don't want to hurt myself at all. but i have no drive, no motivation to do anything. I'm tired a lot, all i want to do half the time is sleep. I feel down a lot.

I don't know if i'm still just dealing with grief or if im a little depressed or what. My dad died back in december and i wasn't there. he was halfway across the country with the rest of my family and i still am having a really hard time with it. I talk to people. but i wasnt there, and that's really hard for me. and i think i may be a little bit depressed but i cant tell. i dont know. and i don't know how to tell.

and if im not, what do i do? it feels like im torn up inside and missing a chunk, and every time i cry again i can feel the tearing again. and it seems to heal and then something sets me off and it falls apart. it may be a part of the polycystic ovarian syndrome, but how do you tell?

I don't know if anyone actually reads these, and if you do, thank you. If not, it doesn't matter much one way or another. It helps me vent, and you don't need to read my depressive venting if you don't want to. But if you do, then you may care, and thank you.

Ever get sprayed by a skunk? I experienced that particular hell tonight when my dog got sprayed. The smell won't leave my nose.

However. There is a solution for you and pets that get sprayed.

1 quart(4 cups) 3% hydrogen peroxide (typical drug store stuff), half a cup of baking soda, and 1 tablespoon of strong dish soap (I used green apple scented Sunlight soap). Mix and apply liberally to you and/or your pets as soon as possible. Repeat as needed. Its a life saver, I promise you. Neither me nor my brother nor my dog smell of it anymore, and its safe as long as you don't get it in your eyes/nose/mouth (be careful if you have an open wound of some sort like a scratch/cut/bite/etc that is still healing.) Also, thank the gods for walmart being open until 10.

I'm doing a series of three trilogies right now with a rather large ghostwriting job. Its fun. A shame its ghost writing, but its really, truly fun. Its my own idea this time, too, mostly, instead of taking a plot and putting it to paper.

Hopefully, this work will do me until I find a proper day job.

Now, its 9am, and I am tired after pulling an all-nighter to finish the novel. Night all! Be back later today!

Stayed up till 6AM playing video games. Usually, no big deal, I don't have a day job. Today? Forgot I had a meeting with the Petty Officer about my military thing. at 11AM. What is sleep?

Has anyone else used it? For those of you who haven't its toothpaste.

No chemicals, almost nothing in it that store bought toothpaste has. Its homemade.

And if you've only ever used toothpaste, and you wanna switch...

Be prepared for a shock.

Its better all around than regular toothpaste. It works better, better for your body and the environment. No tube to worry about squishing, no worries about polluting the environment if you go camping. Its made from entirely natural ingredients. I bought mine from the farmer's market in Annapolis Royal (all you Nova Scotia furs know what I'm talking about) so its one hundred percent home made.

It does not, however, taste better. Well, it does, and it doesn't. It doesn't taste like much of anything, actually. Like fish oil snd (in my case) charcoal and a little hint of soap and a whole lot of nothing. And the texture is like you put bar soap on your toothbrush and brushed your teeth with it. Cause, essentially, you did. Its extremely weird. I spent the next ten minutes gagging and making faces at myself cause man that was weird as heck. Washing it down with pizza now. I do plan on continuing to use it, myself, lessen my carbon footprint and all that and help contribute to less pollution. But man is that ever gonna take a while to get used to. It lasts longer than regular toothpaste, too. When I get internet again I'll show you guys what it looks like. It smells like soap, somewhat, too. Its so weird.

So, Bell Aliant are assholes, to start. Never ever ever going with them again. Ever. At all.

Instead, we are going with Eastlink. Again. Better, minus two things. Closed NAT and their systems like to randomly crash for like an hour or two with no warning and it takes so long to get back up cause their people apparently don't notice that, oh hey, one of the systems is down, we should fix that. They're okay otherwise. Not my first choice, but they're okay. Great customer service (unlike Bell. <.<)

I'm at the library right now (raging at their sorting NONsystem. Its utterly terrible to the point the librarians don't even know how it works. Its literally that bad. I asked for a book at it took us 3 tries to find it. They put the Brothers Grimm stories next to picture books for small children. Great, huh?). Their internet is awesome though, but their hours are weird. That's what i get for living on a military base. No one EVER works weekends. I know it sounds complainy, and I really shouldn't complain because my situation isn't that bad, but I REALLY didn't want to go from living on one military base for training to living on another military base when I go home. I'm so sick of their shit. I love being in the military, I just hate how they fail at setting things up.

So, unfortunately, I won't have proper internet unless I come here (can't on weekends) or go to the mall (which I plan on doing a number of times, but their internet is iffy) until Monday. Monday morning I think (I hope). On the upside, pay day is Monday, so that means I'm getting a TV for my room and probably my own Xbox One. Meaning until Monday, I will be mostly out of contact. I am doing my best to stay in contact with people (I have a few art pieces coming, one of which I am awaiting the artist to give me confirmation so I can pay for it. I apologize to any artist I have commissioned if it takes me a while to get back to you. I will get back to you as soon as I am able to, or sooner.)

So, yeah, that's my little schpiel for the time being. Now I have to go buy a library card (cause military) and check out this Brothers Grimm Tales book. And go hide in my room with my personal mini library until monday. Except for tomorrow, going back to the mall to figure out what fabric to get for my Riza Hawkeye cosplay I'm trying to make. (And I do mean trying. I'm rather hopeless with patterns XD)

So, I'm planning on going to Anime North come May, and I wanna do a Riza Hawkeye cosplay. Thing is, I've never had the full chance to cosplay like this. I would occasionally cosplay for like a day thing with friends around town when events were on, but this will be my biggest yet. And I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I want to make my own costume, but I know surprisingly little about making clothes. I can sew, but I haven't made anything large in a very long time. I have just patched things, mostly. So I was wondering if any of you who cosplay regularly, or even only sometimes, would have some tips for a beginner like me? I will be buying a wig, as my hair is neither long enough nor blonde enough to use lol.

My big questions are like how do you make the patterns? Do you make the patterns yourself? How do you know what fabrics to use? How do you make the embellishments like the cord or the watch? Or her guns and holsters?

Is a difficult language. Irish/gaelic. I'm working on it currently as something else to do when I'm not armying and its tricky. Its a whole new set of sounds my mouth isn't used to making, but its also a really pretty language. I don't know much about how it's written, but I thoroughly enjoy the spoken language.

So, on my evenings and weekends away on training, I find I am getting progressively more and more bored. And I still have a little over 2 weeks left. So I am thinking of starting a new series, but I'm not sure exactly what to make it about. Or I'll just do some shorts or something. But I really want to do something more long term. Anyone have any ideas? I'll be brainstorming for most of today, but if you have anything you wanna see done, gimme a shout!

So i finally got my new laptop and so far i am absolutely loving it. Its a Microsoft Surface 3 and it is utterly beautiful. i'm still getting used to the on screen keyboard (i couldn't afford the detachable keyboard this paycheck, next time) but its not too difficult. its really a nice little computer. this will also make getting back into drawing much much easier than trying to use something on a separate screen, much as i love my wacom bamboo tablet. im still away on military training but i should be around more often thanks to this beauty. i dont have the pen for this computer either right now so i guess we'll see how drawing with my hands goes xD in the meantime, later lovelies!

I got wifi! Unfortunately i didn't bring my laptop with me so I'm just on my phone. Man I've missed a loy in my absence. I'll try to check back once a day with updates or just log on and stuff, but no promises. This course is both easy and stressful and it's day one of week two and I just feel so incredibly drained. And i have another 7 weeks to complete. But I will do it for sure cause once its done its done and from here on out it only gets easier/better. So, in about an hour and a half ish, I will be leaving for the airport. Going away to Ontario for military training for two months and won't be back until august 26. I don't expect to have much Wifi, if any, but if I do then that will be awesome. I wont have my laptop, just my phone, so no tech sadly to play with. However, when I get back, its gonna be new laptop time!

are frustrating. I leave for course soon (like 2 weeks ish) so i cant go find a new job. My only source of income has been writing for the last little bit, and my laptop keeps crashing, making that difficult. On top of that the military didn't pay me today. And i have no other source of income right now until course starts. and my family will be moving while im on course likely so i'll still have to find a new job.

because i didn't get paid today i couldn't go for my license.

why does the world have to revolve around money? Why? When all it does is cause grief and wars and problems. Its absolutely pointless.

So, my laptop has blue screened on me just about once a day for the past two weeks. Why? I don't know. its probably getting old.

But GODDAMN that's annoying! Not to mention seriously frustrating since I work off this thing.

I have Malwarebytes and no viruses on my laptop. But fuck this thing. I seriously need a new one. Sadly, that's gonn have to wait two months or so. Scuse me while i get off this shakey washing machine and back into the cool house.

SO! Awesome little update on my end! I got news yesterday (FINALLY) that I got on the military course i've been waiting on for a while. Thank the gods because this course only runs maybe once a year. Maybe. Its because there aren't many of us in my trade so they can't run it as often as other trades' courses. Which I understand, but it makes waiting/getting anywhere tricky. But I got mine, so that's awesome! Unfortunately it means I won't be around much, if at all, from July 2nd to August 26th. But this course means I'll be able to afford a new laptop.

Which means more time to practice my art again (I need it, I'm so rusty >.< its silly)

I also have decided (after a year ad a half) what I'm going to go to college for. Now to find a college nearby that has the courses I'll need. And to save up the money to afford to go. It shouldn't (I hope) be too terribly expensive, but you never know with colleges. That won't likely be for a little bit longer yet, unless I take out a student loan.
