Just so you all know :P

I updated and organized my wip folder a few days ago so I can more easily see the "to-do" list of art that I need to color before I can post it. and realized "Holy shit, there's almost a hundred things in here, and Ive already backburnered just as many things that Im probably never gonna end up coloring. and some of these have been sitting in this folder for multiple years.... yknow what, fuck this. New project!" And with that an idea was born.

my plan is to color ONE pic a day, EVERY day, regardless of how tired/busy/whatever I am, to COMPLETION, for the month of may. Even if it's just one of my simple little headshot/torso telegram stickers (save those for days when I feel like doing less XD) That will take out a solid third of my to-do list, and then I'll hopefully establish a new normal by the end that I'll be continuing such an endeavor and be able to clear out my wip box significantly.

Cause I really don't wanna post pics up to FA that are either only flat colored or just sketch-work, or flat colored by someone else without me doing anything to them @_@. I mean, I'll make that caveat for COMICS cause comics are a lot of work, but for the rest, I've developed a faster shading method and am good enough, I need to put my snout to the grindstone damnit! Especially with me not working at all due to quarantine until the movie theaters where I work reopen in June at earliest. I should at least make USE of all this free time besides my new from-screatch playthrough of BoTW.

What's the pracitcal benefits to this that YOU will see? Wellllll, if I end up with 30 frieking pics in my "to post" que, I'll almost definitely be upping my posting rate from the normal 2 pics a week to at least 3 for a while XD hehe. Sooooo, look forward to that and encourage meeee! Comment every day on this and badger me about getting a pic done each day this month! XD

Ok, so I am super frieking happy with the model I got from  recursivesweatpants of Irongut and I think it's time I get another because zomg I wanna see my other chars in 3D too XD but I'm having trouble deciding which one!

Basically, I want a model that's gonna be popular and used a bunch by folks if/when I release the model files for others to use, and I think I've got the decision down between two options. I think, since I alreayd have an IronGut and a Ralph model, the next ones that would be most popular are either gonna be

So the big thing to mention is he shark week frebies deal :P I really don't wanna skip this year, but I fear I must because lately my art drive has been totally in the dumps. I haven't colored more than a single pic in the past like two or maybe even 3 weeks now. I'm not entirely sure why, though I have a feeling as to a part of the reason. I feel like I'm transitioning somewhat into a writer...

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of WRITING recently of all things. I recently finished 2 fanfics, my next full novel (now I just need to go through and re-edit it), and did a heck of a lot of writing on a few more fanfics. I'm gonna start posting them here to FA as well, because you guys deserve to see em too. But yeah, I gotta try and get back into art, especially cause I do have SO MUCH in my to-color pile it's incredible.

That said, I did do something special for shark week, and I kinda posted it early because I couldn't stand waiting to post it XD I GOT IRONGUT MODELED IN SOURCE FILMMAKER AND BLENDER! As you have no doubt seen :) And as such, I've already gotten a ton of renders from folks including an animation (and a few others that I've commissioned), and omg I love them all! I'll be uploading the animations and renders starting this week so start enjoying that! :D And perhaps you would enjoy doing a render yourself for Shark Week? So yeah, lots have happened for sharkbutt

- Recently I had to send my truck in for repairs, which ended up being 1k for a couple of different things. So that had me tight on money.
- then this past weekend, I actually had a mild stroke, don't worry, I'm totally fine and recovered, it happened at work and my manager knew the signs of a stroke and immediately called 911 so I was able to get the proper medication needed good and fast, and thus I didnt suffer any brain damage whatsoever, my mental facultes, coordination, and everything are completely 100%. But yeah, I spent the whole weekend, 4 days of it, in a hospital :P and now I'm dealing with follow up appointments and medical stuff and the bills that are expected to come from it, so yay.

So basically, the bottom line is, sharko is stressed for money for the moment and near future. Which sucks cause I haven't had the chance to do much art at all lately, it's been weeks in fact since I've finished coloring a piece X_x which I really hate, but yeah, busy trying to work a whole bunch to make as much money as I can which means whn Im not at work Im trying to catch up on sleep and stuff and Im low energy and you get the idea I suspect. (normally I don't beg for donations, but then again I don't think I've ever gotten any at all anyways XD heh. Neither through my old patreon, nor my ko-fi, nor even paypal directly :P blagh :P whatever, Im an independent shark, or at least want to be XD )

aaaand, uhhhh, yeah! So the tldr is I spent tons of time working to make money after a few tight months of negative balance of my personal finances, then I had a stroke over the weekend that put me in the hospital with just my cell phone and kindle to keep me entertained. Fweeeeeee, fuuuun tiiiimes

So yeah, uhhh, I went to see HTTYD3 yesterday after work, cause I love the series, I love toothless, so does my mate  xaviermaldonado1 , and so when I got home, of coue I wanted to share my thoughts with him about it :) He kinda was expecting to hate it based off trailers and the leaks he heard, so here's our convo about it :P or at least my posts to him XD

So overall I'm really not so big on this movie, cause of a bunch of little reasons. Mostly it feels like a kids movie much more than it should be, even for a kids movie. Basically lemme explain the stuff you'll love first though.

Right at the end, it does indeed seem like Toothless and Hiccup are almost talking to each other they understand each other and can read each other so well, which I know you'd like.

The "Save Him" moment from the trailers did absolutely NOT disappoint, it was absolutely excellent, where the whole thread of the movie was the Light Fury was cautious and skittish of hiccup the whole time, and finally, right there in that moment, she comes around on him, and in slow motion, as Hiccup gets her back to her senses by pulling out what essentially is sorta the bad guys "mind control syrum" stuck in her neck, and then tells her to save toothless, who has been shot with a tranq dart, before letting go himself, to indeed watch her catch and save him onto the nearby ledge, and then at the last possible second appear out of nowhere to catch him too, yeah, that was a great payoff entirely in slow motion :)

And then of course the end scene right before the credits, the only time we see that bearded older hiccup, with astrid and their kids, out on a boat in the ocean, finding hiccup, the light fury, and THEIR kids, and reuiniting. Yeah that had me crying absolutely.

A lot of the problems are that the movie doesn't support itself a whole bunch. Like, the ending I know you'd hate about all the dragons having to go, but I hate it because there's no REASON for them all to go. It wasn't JUST tooth who left, it was ALL them. and I'm like "WTFOMGBBQ?! WHY!?!?" But no, we got a super sad scene of ALL the dragons leaving "new Berk" (they abandoned old berk for reasons I'll explain later which are stoopid), and disappearing to the hidden world, after the bad guy is killed and there seems no more threat anymore!

And it's especially bad cause the movie says ALL dragons have gone down there, like, all the wild ones too, EVERYWHERE. WHAT?! NO, That doesn't make any SENSE! Yeah Tooth is the Alpha but not of like, every dragon in existence! WHAT

I think my MAIN problems are 2 things though, aside from that. Hiccup, in this movie, is NOT SMART. And I'll tell you why in a sec, but 2nd reason, all the supporting cast except Astrid are even LESS smart and even more USELESS. EVEN VALKA. She doesn't o much of ANYTHING except whisper encouragement in Astrid's ear to go give Hiccup pep talks and shit, and occassionally fight with the other riders. All of the other riders are absolutely blitheringly stoopid by the way. OMG. SNotlout is at his dumbest and most arrogant here, Toughnut is obsessed with faking having a big manly beard by tying his pig tails together, then trying to be Hiccup's wingman to turn him into a man so he can win Astrid's hand in marriage, and that's literally the extend of his character. Fucking Fishlegs does NOTHING and to top it off ha grown that awful damn moustache which is AWFUL. Eret does SOMETHING in the form of saying smart things to hiccup when he's within earshot luckily, but beyond that, he doesnt do much of anything. The only one who did anything was Roughnut, who manages to get captured by the bad guy, and actually annoy him into submission and letting her go (or so she thinks, actually she let slip something she shouldn't have, and the bad guy let her go so he could follw her back to New Berk, so, whoopsie, but at least it was SOMETHING.)

Oh my GOWD he could not be more stoopid in this film. Ok. So the movie takes place one year after the end of 2, and our first shot of Berk is that it's completely overfull, like, it seemslike the only thing Hiccup was doing was just finding and bringing back to Berk every last dragon he could find and overcrowding the place to the point where when one big dragon was playing with a baby his tail knocks into something which domino effects and destroys half the town cause it's all nothing but dragon roosts towering up perfcariously. It's astonishing the Berkians hadn't threw him into the sea before then! But noooo it seemed they were more than happy to just, be more crowded than a Japanese Bullet Train car!

Ok. Anyways, god this is gonna take forever if I don't speed things up. Basically Hiccup falls into every one of the bad guys traps b just bul rushing head on into things. At least he wasn't being nieve in thinking he could change badguys mind like he did with Drago, but still. The worst stoopid thing Hiccup did was that at the end of the movie it played out like this:

badguy caught the light fury and toothless, essentially holding them both hostage with a gun to light fury's throat after he and toothless had become mated in order to control Toothless and get him to command all the dragons from Berk into his army of ships with cages. Sooooo, yeah, hostage situation. and Hiccup has no choice but to let them be taken while he's got the furies hostage. But once they go, and gets the astrid pep talk, what is his plan? Basically to have the riders in their wingsuits just fly down from New Berk's cliff face and to the ships to rescue and let out the dragons! that;s it!

Hiccup: I"M DESPERATE AND STUPID! *FLING* WHEEEEEE!!!

Of course, Toothless breaks out of his muzzle and uses the distraction they made to essentially shoot the gun out of the bad guys hands and thus start things in motion about the end of the hostage situation, but it feels like they just BLUNDERED into that stuff! I mean, not a WORD was said about what Hiccup's plan was before he dove off!

On the way out I was thinking about it. "All they needed to do was have ONE LINE of dialogue and Hiccups plan would have made TOTAL sense!"

Hiccup: "They took all our dragons..... Wait a sec.... THEY TOOK ALL OUR DRAGONS! Ohhhhh ho ho ho! Oh man! Don't you guys get it! Think of all the damage that dragon ARMY could do! They have no IDEA what kind of powder keg they are sitting on! All we need is the opportunity to strike a match!"
Astrid: But how can we do that without him shooting the furies?
Hiccup: Toothless.... We just ned to give him a distraction he can use to save her and himself...
Astrid: What if he can't break free to do anything?
Hiccup: He can, and he will. For her. Trust me. Trust HIM.

SEE?! DOESNT THAT SOUND AWESOME AND MAKE HIM LOOK SMART!?

I mean, there were a few good parts that really were great and I loved, but, yeah. A whooole lot of stupid in this movie too, and stupid in the form of "Isn't hiccup supposed to have, yknow, learned something over the course of the past movies and year between them?" It feels way like the 1 year gap in canon between this and #2 should have been 5 years. Hiccup and Astrid are married, the riders are, yknow, grown up and COMPETENT BADASSES ON THEIR OWN, Hiccup HASN'T driven Berk into the ground at the very start of the movie by overcrowding it with Dragons, when there's a whole other yknow, back half of the island that seems untouched from what we see! And things are good and functional, and THEN the bad guy shows up with the captured Light Fury, using it to manipulate Toothless and Hiccup (like he, ehhh, mostly does), and has a plot to USE hiccup to find the Hidden World and lay waste to it. THEN it's about Hiccup having to find the place, which is exactly what the bad guy wants, then leading the charge to defend it or seal it off from humanity to keep it safe! THAT would be a good justifiable reason to have the dragons go away! Or at least better than the NOTHING reason they gave in the movie as made!

Again, there's a few scenes and things that are great and worth seeing :) Roughnutt annoying her way into being let go and subsequently being followed is one. Toothless trying to woo the light fury is adorable, albeit in this movie they turned up toothless's kitty-cat factor to 11, I mean he plays fucking fetch with Hiccups leg at one point early on with all the enthusiasm of a newborn puppy... And of course as I mentioned, if you imagine that line of dialogue in your head about Hiccup planning things out before going to save the day and ignite the powder keg, the ending action scene is great, then it sucks right after, then the "a few years later" scene right after is absolutely sob inducing.

You know what,I just realized ANOTHER thing that pissed me off about the 3rd movie now as I'm watching a youtube review. I already mentioned before about how dumb it is for Toothless to become alpha of the hidden world dragons in one FRIEKING day, but I didn't realize WHY it was so fucking stoopid! Cause when he becomes Alpha in the second movie, it's EARNED. He has to fight off a damn bewilderbeast, and show the dragons how he can protect them and everything, and thus they EARN his respect, and this is all after a big chunk of them already frieking KNEW him and were packmates with him for a few damn years!

In 3, we see NONE of that! it all happens OFF SCREEN, and I can't orthe life of me see how he'd become king down there anyways, because what the hell did he DO to earn their respect and become Alpha?! He didn't do it simply by being the only remaining Night Fury, cause WE SEE OTHERS IN THE HIDDEN WORLD TOO, and I doubt he'd have gone up to the current alpha and challenged him within a day of arriving and besting him when he had nothing like the fierce determination to protect hiccup spurring him on to dbe so powerful like the second movie... PLUS the biggest fact that he's a NEWCOMER. He has NO idea how the heirarchy or society works down there! I mean, they worked to SHOW that in the movie about how he has no idea how to do a mating dance for the light fury! So he's at a SEVERE DISADVANTAGE! UGH... Man, yeah, fuck this movie...

And you know what, I saw Rothar's journal about their thoughts and they brought up a few things that might explain a few things:
"I knew the comcast aquisition of Dreamworks 2016 was a bad sign.
I knew them firing alot of staff after the aquisition was a bad sign.
I knew the low budget of this movie was a bad sign."

Ahhhhhhh, so Comcast bought Dreamworks inbetween this and the previous movie, and they fired a shitload of staff, probably a lot of the great writers that worked on the first. Yeahhhh, this could explain the source of a looooooot

So I get up early in the morning to take the train into NYC in order to register with central casting as a background extra as a job. I go and do that just fine, no problems at all, in fact I was nearby to a pokemon go stop the whole time so I got lots of items, including jumping up to lv 27, and finding a charmeleon that I caught in Penn Station while witing for the train back 8D

WHere this all goes to shit is when I had to go TAKE a shit, and then after going to the bathroom and returning to the NJ transit section, I realize I dont have my fucking cell phone! I run back around and all over and I cant find it in the bathroom, nor retracing my steps, nothing. I ended up spending an extra 2 hours there running around trying to figure out how to find it or if I could call it. Alas though my battery was near dead when I last had used it so it';s all the way dead by then. Straight to voicemail went my attempts to call it and offer whomever has it a $50 return reward. So yeah I got back on the NEXT train home, an hour later, cell phone less, to discover that what I thought was a free lot for parking in for NJ transit was NOT, and now I have a goddamn PARKING TICKET TO PAY OFF. FUCK! And the Donald being president and being absolutely as bad as we feared, and the Patriots being super bowl champs AFUCKINGGAIN, I wanna punch a hole in my wal.

This mood will pass though, this is just a fucking vent journal. I alreayd went to google and remote locked the phone so my security is safe, and included on there is a message now on the lock screen about the reward for return, and i had an available 2 year upgrade ready anyway so if i dont get it back, i get a new phone anyways, juist gotta hope I can transfer all my shit over without the old phone being there, tespecially my pokemon go account... but yeah. for now, fuck eveything...

Hoooly crap where do I start. I just finished beating the elite four and hitting the end credits of this game and my god do I hate it now, I spent a few minutes trying to think if I liked any main series pokemon game less than this, and the answer came up no. This is the worst pokemon generation ever.

NOW, that's not to say I'm not at least somewhat glad I bought and played through the game! It is a pokemon game after all, with the core mechanics of a pokemon game we all know and love intact. Get a starter pokemon, go through the world battling other trainrs and battling/catching other wild pokemon until you've got a well trained and strong team of pokemon that you like. That will ALWAYS result in a decent game. But every change they made to this over X/Y, the last proper pokemon generation, was for the worse. I'm going to go through and try to list my gripes in order of when I realized them as I played through.

- Firstly, and these might seem like minor gripes, but they make this game completely feel not like a pokemon game anymore, there is no more grid based movement, and you have to press A to go through a door as opposed to just walking into the door. Those two things had remained intact since the very first games, and to change them now, make the game feel absolutely ALIEN.

- Next, there are no traditional Gyms in the game, where you beat trainers then the leader to gain a badge which you need all 8 of to get to the elite four. In it's place are "island challenges" and the "Island Kahunas", which are infinitely inferior. The island challenges usually have nothing to do with battling or how well you are at training your pokemon, ranging from a fucking scavenger hunt in the forest to a fucking spot the differences game that any 2 year old could pass on their first try. What the fucking shit... I literally don't even remember half of them cause they were so unimaginative and awful. OH! and by the way, while on these "Island Trials" you're essentially in a wild area for pokemon, battling eventually against a "totem pokemon" which is basically a fully evolved form of one of the mon in that area that happens to be a bit more powerful, AND YOU'RE POKE-BALLS ARE DISABLED SO YOU CAN'T CATCH ANYTHING UNTIL THE TRIAL IS COMPLETE.

- The fucking Z power shit. This is the main push feature of the game, that when you gain the "Z Chrystal" of whatever pokemon type, you can attach it to a pokemon to turn it's moves of that type to a super move. Basically it's Mega Evolution, except instead ofupgrading your pokemon temporarily, it upgrades one of your pokemon's MOVES temporarily. Who the hell thought this was a good idea again?....

- The goddamn CHARACTERS and STORY of this game are SHIT SHIT AND MORE SHIT. Your main "rival" of the series you barely ever encounter in battle, never team up with in battle, and whenever you see him is always apologetically excited and happy to the point of jumping in the air and fist pumping, then going and running off to get smoothies or whatever the fuck this Malasada shit is the game seems to have invented as a food item he's obsessed with, which BTW is a healing food item for your pokemon. What the fuck was wrong with potions? Which are still IN the game, and available for sale at all poke-marts, thereby rendering the malaladasada's useless. Then your OTHER "rival", isn't even a pokemon trainer! But some ditzy idiot girl, who for SOME reason has been left in charge of the lower evolved form of the game's legendary pokemon, which keeps escaping from the duffel bag she's carrying it in and getting captured by the bad guys or attacked by wild pokemon that they YOU need to go and save it from. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL?! OH! And her story arc is all about gathering the strength to stand up to her mother, who to put this mercifully short, ends up being half-posessed by these legendary other-dimensional pokemon after being obsessed with them in the first place to the point of disowning her daughter for being weak (which in all honesty, I kinda don't blame her.) All the rest of the time, the bitch is just all "I'M GONNA TRY MY BEST BECAUSE YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO ME PLAYER1" then proceeds runs off and NEVER DO ANYTHING, or at worst, run off and get captured or into some other form of trouble which WE have to then save her from! I mean for FUCKS SAKE. 1, Put that fucking pokemon in a fucking POKE BALL so it'll stop escaping you at every turn, 2, GIVE THE FUCKING POKEMON TO A FUCKING TRAINER THAT CAN ACTUALLY FUCKING PROTECT IT, 3, BE A FUCKING POKEMON TRAINER YOU DIMWIT! Man, I spent a lot of time there on the characters and story, and I could sure go on about that, but there's much more for me to gripe about, so I'll skip ahead.

- The goddamn elite four in this game are beyond pushovers. I didn't even feel the need to save inbetween cause they didn't even use all 6 pokemon slots. And the levels were inadequate as well. Granted, I did a lot of grinding right before the elite four cause I realized I was about to hit them and still hadn't gotten any pokemon I really LIKED through the game, so through online trades I got myself pokemon I liked, hatched new eggs from them, and leveled them up to around 50 or so, which meant my main 2 fighters were over 70 when I finally went to the four, but even then I blasted through their level 50 somethings without even having to use my level 70's all that often, and only for one pokemon did I actually have to use a number of items to recover on.

- The new pokemon designs in this game are good enough as are the mon themselves, for the most part. Alolan forms of things are the STUPEDEST things ever though. Oh really? SO you couldn't just come up with a NEW pokemon, you take a Golem, redesign it as a rock-electric type, and push THAT in front of us so that now the global pokedex is forever muddled by having to clarify that there are in fact now, 2 TYPES of the geodude/meowth/sandshrew/vulpix/ratatta/grimer lines along with a special Exeggutor/Riachu/Marowak?! and for literally JUST those pokemon?! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING?! WHAT DO YOU GAIN BY MAKING THINGS MORE MUDDLED AND LESS CLEAR RATHER THAN, OH I DON'T KNOW, CREATING BRAND NEW FUCKING ORIGINAL POKEMON INSTEAD?!?!?!

- SPEAKING of troubles with the pokemon themselves, some of the pokemon in this version are like I said well designed and fine as pokemon, but have some REALLY stupid shit attached to them, for example, Salandit. This is a very well designed new original pokemon! One I liked the hell out of! Including it's evolved form Salazzle. SO I went and caught one and trained it to where it would be at a level that it would evolve to Salazzle. The problem? It was a male. Now, if you haven't heard yet, you're saying to yourself "Soooooo, what's the problem?"....... ONLY THE FUCKING FEMALES OF THE SPECIES CAN EVOLVE INTO SALAZZLE!!!!! AND THE FEMALES ARE RARE TOO. WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA AND WHY?! The only thing you've done is piss us off for wasting our time cause we didn't know any better, which by the way, WE DON'T BECAUSE THIS FACT WAS NEVER MENTIONED IN GAME OR IN THE POKEDEX. I ONLY FOUND OUT WHY MY SALANDIT WASN'T EVOLVING AFTER GOING TO BULBAPEDIA!

- OH! And ANOTHER fucking problem with the pokemon in this game is the limited fucking roster. Hey! Remember how in X/Y you could get any pokemon you wanted from any previous game version, so you could have a team with a Goodra, a Charizard, a Sharpedo, a Wailord, a Lugia, and idk, whatever the hell else you wanted? Well, YOU CAN'T IN MOON! And I don't just mean you can't CATCH them, I mean to say you can't GET them. The GTS will not allow me to put in "charmander" and get any actual search results to trade. This DESPITE there being a CHARIZARD in game that you can RIDE outside of your team. I'm not gonna go through and list all my favorites that I couldn't get becaus they were disabed, but again I will say, WHY THE FUCK IS THIS EVEN A THING?! WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA AND WHY WEREN'T THEY FIRED HALFWAY THROUGH DEVELOPMENT?!

- Another issue I saw throughout the game but I REALLY noticed during the end credits was the character animation. OH MY GOD. This is 2017 assholes, you cannot simply have 5 ANIMATIONS TO USE ON A PERSONS CHARACTER MODEL. Literally, there is Shake your head no, Nod your head yes, laugh, jump for joy fist pumping the air, and shocked arms up expression. OH! and there's technically the "handing you an item" animation as well, but who cares, because literally the same animation is used across character models throughout the whole game, and during the end credits you can see it just all over the place and it's the biggest annoyance ever. They try to cover it up with different facial expressions but those hardly have any variety to them either, and when combined with the 1 dimensional characters of the game it really makes me just go "THEY JUST DIDN'T CARE!" I Mean I KNOW this is a goddamn POKEMON Game, where the story is one step up from just being there to check off the fact that the game has a story, but goddamnit there is NO conflict, the villains are idiots, the biggest world-threat in the game basically resolves itself and you just fight one pokemon out of the supposedly dozens or hundreds that are out there and SOMEHOW the rest of them are defeated by other trainers out there, and there's just no sort of journey any character goes on that means anything except for that bitch I mentioned earlier stands up to her mom after getting a haircut. woooooow..... big character arc...

- Oh and SPEAKING of the villains in this game, my GOD are they stupid. But honestly, they are the best part of the game too, unfortunately in the "so bad it's good" kind of way, and only regarding to how they act. Which is like white boy fans of gangsta rap of the early 2000's, wth wacky arm movements and all sorts of macho posturing with sayings like "Yo what's with that?" among other kind of hilariously bad dialogue. I'm sure you've seen the memes around of them, and I will say it's well deserved. But aside from that, and the cool fact that in game, they've taken over a town "Escape from NY" style, where the police and such have just walled the town off and let the street gang have it, which leads to graffiti and trash everywhere, and a group of Team Skull thugs running the pokemon center, asking for $10 to revive your pokemon so they can pay the electric bill, the team's agenda is basically non existent, and they have no real goal in the game at all. Sure in the beginning it's that they are stealing pokemon, but halfway through the game you just kinda forget that fact, and they don't DO anything from there on it seems. You don't break up the team like you did with Rocket, they don't learn anything, or change, they are just THERE.

- One last gripe before I go, and that is they've made changes to other things in the game as well such as Amie and the online interactions menu's and stuff. Firstly, there's no more Amie as it's known, oh it's still Amie, where you get to pet your mon and such, but no longer do they act playful nor are there mini-games to play to raise affection up, now you have but one option, feed them beans, which are all the same, and pet them. Oh and post-battle you have the option to immediately go into amie to either use free medicine on them to cure a status ailment they got in battle, which is good (the only good change though), or brush them with brushes and sponges and such to make them feel better and remove dirt and dust off them. Basically they redesigned Amie and made it worse except for one change. And then the menu's for online interactions like trading and battling online, no longer is a simple easy to use menu always available on the lower screen, nooo no no no. Now it's a fuckin HUB WORLD type thing that I never explored more than once just to see what the hell it was all about before just jumping through it to the menus to get to the GTS I needed to. Since when did making things more convoluted and complex make for a better experience? SIMPLIFY.

In summation, FUCK SUN AND MOON. This is the worst generation I've ever played, every change they made was for the worse, the story/characters/animation/mechanics are steps back from the previous game/games, and ever decision they made in this generation was WRONG. That said, it' still a pokemon game, and I still love raising up my team members through battles to get the ultimate team and the ultimate satisfaction of knowing I brought these world beaters up from nothing to what they are now, but overall, FUCK SUN AND MOON. Oh, but the exp-all being an early item now and no longer dividing the exp earned from a defeated/captured mon among your team, but rather duplicating exp from a defeated mon to all the rest of your team, is a very nice change which makes it way easier to develop your whole team instead of just your #1 mon.

One caveat, I haven't done any post-game stuff yet, and as I'm watching a few youtube reviews to see if anyone online agrees with me, I do think I might enjoy the post-elite four game, so I guess I'll do a follow up later on, but this review was just my experience of the game up to and including the end credits.

Good morning averyone :P just gotta say a few things XD first off, got my work schedule for next wekk and HOLY FUCK OMG WTF BBQ DED. Im working every single day either at my new job at Home Depot, or at Metlife Stadium, and a few days where Im doing a shift at BOTH, from tomorrow until the 29th.... uhhhh.... and the 29th Im not even sure Im gonna have off cause my home depot schedule isn't made that far ahead. the drive was a bit awful :P hehe, I drove someone else down, and we didnt chat or do anything either down or back so warrrgh, and it was a 4 hour drive :P but meh, thats enough of that :) I got there Friday after the sketchbook swap event (boo) but in time to go to the dealers den and artist alley before they closed (yay!)! So I went and scoped out who I was gonna buy from, got a few started, and then went off to the con, where I wasn't planning on joining the talent show at all this year, but they were low on acts, so I figured "what the hell" and went and juggled XD Went pretty hardcore with it to and got a good act together, winded myself to the point of exhaustion XD and was voted 3rd place out of 5 by the judges ^^ 2nd to a magic act which kinda deserved it :D and a frieking MUSIC ACT GRRRRRRR. (the rivalry between everyone LOVVVVVING fucking people who can sing and HATING people who can do actual skill based stuff, aka music vs variety acts, goes on). So got a ten dollar voucher for the con store from that ^^ yay! But yeah XD hehe. so after that it was I ran into a buddy of mine AvianDebyrd ^^ went to smashburger with him, got a doodle :D then uhhhh yeah by that time I was suuuper tired from drive and juggling, so I sleeeeeped.

Next up on the main day, it sstarted with me going off to the dealers den and artist alley again, this time with my SEEEECRET WEAPON. A Bag full of multiple things of Chips Ahoy and Oreo cookies :) full size packages ^^. I find that, while SOME artists are a little insulted like "Wait, so you want to trade me, 3 dollars worth of food, for a sketch I charge double digits for? GTFO" others are like "OH MY GAWD I WAS GETTING SOOO HUNGRY NOW I DONT HAVE TO LEAVE MY TABLE TO GO GET FOOOD THANK YOUUUUUU!" and I end up trading foor for a sketch and sometimes more :D It's a great strategy ^^ and has helped me satisfy my artsluttiness for cheap lol. So after that! Had the Juggling 101 panel I ran ^^ this con was a bit thin on people who came to the panel, only 3 to start, but that was good too cause 1 had already been to the panel before at a previous con, and I was also able to give them all one on one style attention to get them juggling fast ^^. After that I went to check on my commissions before ending up at the charity Poker Tournement :D I actually wasn't intending to do that, buttttt I figured hey why not, plunked down my 20 bucks, and it went steaddily down from 20 folks, down to 2 tables, down to the final table, down to three remaining people :) I was number three XD hehe. Of course by then it was like, 3.5 hours into it and we were all getting suuuuper tired lol, so we were losing focus and I pushed all in when I really shouldn't have XD but it';s ok ^^ I got my 10 dollars voucher for the convention store for third place for it as well! I traded both of them for art with artists in the dealers den XD hahaha. I'm such an insatiable artslut lol. Anywayyyyy, so then I went to Subway for a footlong sandwich right as they were closing before heading back to the con and the tabletop gaming room, where I ended up playing Werewolf until 4AM! Ohhh man I just couldn't stop myself from going "one more game, ok one more game, one more game why not XD" Was worth it ^^. Got to the hotel room and passed right the fuck out lol.

Day three and a bunch of my commissions were done, and I collected them, happy with a majority ^^ and then uhhhh oh! went to the video game room where I got allll pissed off and salty because when I started a game of Smash Brothers, 2 of the 5 players were like, tournament level players. and they were playing like they were IN a tournement. Either camping off to the side or like, just killing the shit out of everyone. UGH was so annoying. Finally after going through like teams and such and even me turning on handicapp, which they negated by just exiting to the menu between matches, GRRRRRR, I finally won a round against them and went "THERE! HA! DONE!" Turned in my controller, and watched them play with my arms folded for a little while XD hehehe. then I finally had the big 4 hour drive back home, which I did, managing to not fall asleep on the road on two seperate occassions XD instead stopping strategiclly at rest stops and being safe, and then passing right out at home lol. sooooo yeah! good con ^^

Yeah I'm a football fan an this is a football journal. a bit late but I have to get these thoughts down anyways.

We should have not pushed Tom Coughlin to get out. Granted he's retired from the Giants but goddamnit he should not have fucking gone and you all out there should not have called for his head! Here's fucking why, two tiers of reasons. 1, the lack of a winning record and shit is NOT HIS FAULT. and 2, you idiots have completely neglected to make a plan for the future! And now to elaborate.

1: Not his fault
- Name one fucking person from memory off the defense this year aside from JPP, who is playing essentially one handed by the way. And then while you're at it, who played tight end or receiver besides OBJ? This team ESPECIALLY on defense has no frieking TALENT. The Giants drafting and free agency choices have been HORRIBLE. The team has had no depth and no talent for the whole of the past 2 years or so outside of the lone home run players like Cruz, OBJ, and JPP. Oh not to mention my man Turbo (David Wilson) who had to early retire from injury. You try and coach a team who might as well have it's own fans playing on the field! Eli and OBJ can do great things, but he can only do so much! The Giants needed to clear out whoever was getting Tom his players instead.

2: You have no future now!
One thing I was saying while everyone was calling for Caughlin to go away, was this. WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PLAN FOR THE FUTURE THEN? Cause here's the way it was, and now IS, going to play out. Eli has what, about 4, maybe 5 years left in him before retiring? And he JUST got used to the new offense. So NOW, You are going to throw that away and bring in ANOTHER new head coach and new offense for him to learn. That should take him about, say, 3 years to get good at. Oh look! It's now 2019 and Eli is JUST NOW getting used to the offense! Things are clicking and times are good! FOR ONE FUCKING YEAR! Now it's 2020 and suddenly Eli is looking like Peyton did THIS year, not able to play anymore and deciding whether to retire this year or try to force himself to play another year. And so here we are in 2021 drafting a NEW quarterback to replace Eli, and now that quarterback and team are gonna take ANOTHER 2 or 3 years to get good probably.

In other words, YOU HAVE MADE THE GIANTS SUCK FOR 6 OUT OF THE NEXT 9 YEARS! Unless we actually do one of those miracle hires/draftings with the new coach or QB, but oh wait! Look at the teams who DID that the past few years! Look at the Colts with Andrew Luck, the Redskins with RG3, the Raiders, The 49'rs, the Eagles with Chip Kelly! YEAH. Those MIRACLE rookie success teams suddenly SUCK three years later! The Giants are a team built on the solid ideals of building a team up over time, to take the long view of things, to plan ahead, to play for the future! THAT is why I am a fan of them over any other goddamn team! Not because they are the local team to me! Hell the #2 team on my list is the Seattle Seahawks! and the Jets are #5 on my list of favorite teams, and ONLY cause of locality. We should have kept Eli and Coughlin together and had them retire together. Now that Coughlin is gone and Eli in the twilight of his career, our only choice is to now either trade Eli so that indeed we are starting 100% fresh, which we would be BEYOND STUPID to do. Or, deal with the next decade of irrelevance. Thanks for making Coughlin retire assholes..... Go Giants...

I do wanna say, to those of you who have pm'd me or commented on my stuff, or tried to start up chats with me, or waited for me to start chats with them over skype or telegram now and things. I wanna say I'm sorry, I've been in an incredile, and rare mind you, anti-social kinda mood I guess since late october early November. Where I've not really wanted to reply to notes or comments, nor have I wanted to RP at all or anything, and I think it's cause of a combination of things.

Mostly this is the time of my yearly post con depression, where there's no convention on the horizon until the springtime. Then it's also the end of the football season so I'm wishing there was more footall, it's also the end of the extra cash I get from working NFL games at Metlife Stadium. Speaking of money i'm also been suspended from my main job that I was really excited to have since late November and have not yet received word if I'm going to be reinstated, or how much longer the suspension will be, or if it's going to be an outright termination, AND I haven't told my parents about it since they told me it was a suspension and I expected it to be not longer than a month and that I could kinda hide that dip in income from my super paranoid and keeping-an-eye-on-my-bank-accounts parents, but now not so much. Not to mention that job anyways, while fun and good, didn't have enough hours to justify it, cause no matter how many shifts I could work, every shift I would only be able to come home with 30 dollars or so cause of the travel costs of that job and the shift lengths, so I'm gonna have to get another job or shift into a better position at that job anyways and that's been hanging over my head since the first week was done at that job and it was clear how much I was ACTUALLY making.

Wow... I, actually started off with that with a big point about the combination of things mostly being that I don't feel like writing much or arting that much and that's why there haven't been hardly any streams, along with the fact that I've recently almost finished the moving in proccess into my new and own house a few minutes away from my folks. But really looking at where my mind went there, I think the vast majority of my stall is the stress I'm under cause of my job and hence money situation. I kinda know that I have to end up doing applications and finding a better more local and hour giving job, but I HATE job searching so much. Along with the hiding of the suspension from my current job from the folks, cause goddamnit I know I've been fired from a number of jobs for dumb reasons, but every single time they refuse to let me live my damn life on my own when it comes to finding my next one, and are always acting disappointed and such around me when I inevitably tell them the bad news and I' sick of seeing them like that, could you guys just be frigging understanding for once?! I screwed up, I got fired, I realize I was an idiot, but I don't have a damn time machine so because I've already realized I was a stupid idiot for that mistake and know that I won't make that mistake again there's no point in you lecturing me or anything I'm almost 30! Stop treating me like I don't know what the hell I'm doing because yes it never should have happened but it did! And expressing again and again that it never should have happened only equates to you saying over nd over again "You are an idiot" and I don't NEED any of that! I already have enough of that in my own head from not living up to my own expectations in freshman year of high school when I dropped down from an academy level school to another lower level vocational school, then when I couldn't get past pre-calculus in college and had to switch fucking majors from engineering to art! I DON'T NEED YOU REMINDING ME OF MY FAILURES. oh... wow....

uhhh... sorry... I, guess I really really needed to get that sorta stuff off my chest... for a while now... damn... no wonder Ive been doing nothing the past month or two, cause that suspension coupled with the fact that job isn't gonna be enough pay by far was dragging that extra baggage along with it in my head. Ugh... damn.. You know. I do have good parents, they watch out for me, they want the best for me, I understand they are trying to help but they don't fucking understand that what I need is for them to lay off of me and let me be on my own to sink or swim. And oh my god I am still ranting about them. Jesus... I guess, yeah. I really really want to prove to them that I am as good as they built me up to be as a kid, when I was getting into gifted and talented programs in elementary school and stuff throughout middle school then high school hitting the wall and getting the biggest reality checks ever. Ugh... I guess they still will never see me as anything but those high expectations that I'm not gonna live up to, at least not anytime soon. And look at me still going! jesus. I'm sorry bout all this baggage I really am. It's just with this job stuff and the new burdons of my rent and such hanging over me, I guess this is crunch time and I know it but I haven't dealt with the stuff holding me back yet in my head. *sighs*

Anyways. long story short, I'm sorry I haven't been up to chatting, rping, keeping up on my ask blog and writings, art, streams, and basically everything since November. If you really want to talk to me on skype, don't be afraid to poke me first, and understand if I don't respond it's got nothing to do with you, I'm just not in the mood to RP or socialize at the moment with anyone but my mate and my almost-mate, and understand that I'm not poking anyone first.

Cause I kinda forgot myself cause I';m in the proccess of moving out of my family home into my own place, which Im calling the Shark Tank, and I'll give everyone a tourr when the place is all done. But yeah! The 10th is my birthday so that's tomorrow, and not to be a shameless art slut like i am, but I'm a shameless artslut and I hope I get a few doodles XD haha.
