As atlas...
Sprawling, bearing the sky, with hopes of majesty,
With the ability for something yet to be found.
Its not easy, especially as now, those for whom the sky is held,
Their scourging tendrils tear at what will is left.
Their actions, making sky laden with muck.

It is a battle.

Will the sky fall with atlas,
Or will atlas no more need to bear the sky?

The sky is getting heavier.
Atlas wanes from his once great stature.

And they forget atlas.
He does not "Need" to eat.
He does not "Need" to rest.
His turmoil is only real to him.

"Atlas is not at all like man, he needs nothing."
It is cold, lonely, and laden with turmoil, bearing the sky.

Man forgets that atlas has internal conflicts.
That he wishes to be with man.
That he desires so much, but when he reaches out...

He cannot achieve it.
For there are tendrils, and there are typhoons. Obstacles, others snatch up greedily what atlas hoped would be his.

And even as he can bear the sky, none who wish him joy can bear the sky. None who wish him joy are willing to grant it.

Those things he desired, taunting him, putting themselves just beyond reach. Claiming to be his joy, but turning, snickering with no intentions of such.

How cruel, they are to atlas.
Yet... the cruelty is only real to him.

And so he was turned to stone, his grief, finally brought to rest.



Why... Why must I be as atlas?
I dare not his demise, but still, with him I sympathize.

But when, and where, and who, and what, and how?
Which or all of these will bring joy to an atlas?

On a happier note, Jacko has been kicking the inside of my skull with ideas, almost as though he wants Spades to be my first comic, and at the same time, i know that i need a starting comic so i can have a larger audience for Spades...

There is a chance that i will disregard what you guys have to say, but its the characters in my head who help make the final decision. Help them to reach a comprimize.

IS it a herpaderpy kinda slice of life comic about a girl who has to cope with life after accidentally being turned into an anthropomorphic cow, and stumbles across furries who help her find comfort in her new skin?

OR

IS it a dark, murderous, and gory military comic about a kangaroo who disbands, then reforms a hyper-efficient unit of anthropomorphic super-soldiers to foil their creator's plans for hostile corporate takeover?


It is the classic conflict between comedy and tragedy. What will it be?

Just went to my first official furmeet.

Utah furries, orem summerfest 2012.
I was in the parade.

All that can be said is that once or twice i dreamed of furmeets.
This surpassed the expectations set by a dream.
Sure, the event may not have been a big deal, but just meeting furries as into the fandom as i am for the first time, was mind blowing to me.

I'm going to go and process the dumbfounding amazingness that i feel i have just encountered.

Yup. I am still alive, and still making completeley irrelivant titles for my journals.

Son, now for some... news... kind of.
cus its various news from the excessive amount of time i was missing.

First: Spades is getting postponed so i can get more experience creating webcomics...
Second: In it's place, i am creating another webcomic so i can develop my abilities further.
the good news is that its no set story yet. just a sitcomesque herpaderp comic.
