Change Log - 8.1a
Posted 6 years agoCopied from the Change Log.
Version 8.1a
This is a quick fix to a fatal error: All Speed values have been placed on the correct cards. Unfortunately some last minute changes broke the cards on accident. This should be fixed now.
- Placed speed values back on cards that used them.

Open Beta went extremely well. Patreon is up and running, I have a small cash flow helping fund the game slightly. Things look good. However, I don’t feel good about the speed of the game, and eagerly wanted to change it to make it even faster. So unfortunately, I have to look at the game and take out everything that was slowing the game down. I’m happy to say I’m at that point where I can safely say that the game takes between 60-90 minutes for an experienced group, and that’s more than good enough for me.
Due to the nature of this change, Guest and Accessory changes will not be listed.
Core Changes
- Room has been Removed from the game.
- Actions “Invite”, “Lure”, “Relax” have been Removed from the game.
- All Basic and Apex Action cards have been Removed from the game.
In the need to Streamline, reducing the total number of actions in the game became imperative. The original idea of the room was for defensive purposes, but due to the nature of the game, it slows down gameplay overall, and leaves a very passive playstyle to dominate more frequently. Because of this, playtime always went over 1 ½ hours each session, leading for gameplay that extended to the point of relative boredom. With the removal of all these mechanics, gameplay has been greatly sped up.
- Players now draw cards from the Draw Pile into their hands.
- Event Deck has been added.
- Tokens have been renamed: Action Points -> Combo Tokens, Gluttony Coin -> Gluttony Token
I’ve also made the decision to remove the standard hand of actions to just drawing and playing cards into the Lobby like an older version. I feel this is the best option, and due to the removal of Apex Actions, allows enough variation in decisions to make each turn impactful.
- Combo Tokens have been changed on how they work.
- Kick Out has been changed on how they work.
- Accessories now have a new icon: Lobby.
- Accessories now have a new slot: Active Accessory.
Accessories have also received an overhaul. Now, if an Accessory has the Lobby Icon, they may be Activated to provide a game-wide buff. Accessories in the Active Accessory slot can be removed by another Active Accessory, or with a Kick Out.
Apex
- All Apex have lost their Apex Action.
Due to the incredible changes of 8.1, all Apex have lost their Apex Action. To balance this, all Apex have had their passive changed largely to take advantage of the new systems.
Kealldin (ID:1)
Apex Passive: You now have a Coils token which you may place on a guest you Gorge, preventing action from any other Apex on that guest. You may also overindulge any guests, and get Digestion Token with any Gorge.
Verak (ID: 2)
You cannot devour any Guest worth 5 VP.
Swiftwing (ID: 3)
You automatically win any ties, and will receive a Combo Token when you do tie.
Serena (ID: 4)
You have a hand size of 4, compared to a hand size of 3, and you may swap a card in your hand with a card in the Lobby on the mingle phase.
Ember (ID: 5)
No changes were made to this Apex.
Felxier (ID: 6)
You may now chain Devours on Anthro Guests. You get a VP If you get out of overindulgence through digestion.
Steltin (ID: 7)
You may now place a Coils token on a card, preventing that card from being interacted with by anyone but yourself.
Lyssa (ID: 8)
You claim rage tokens when you are the target of Kick Outs. You may discard three Rage tokens to force a Kick Out on any Apex during your Apex Phase.
Boxer (ID: 9)
Your Stomach is a Room that can contain three cards. You may gorge in this Room, and can only apply Digestion on full guests. Get a VP on Gorge, and you can Overindulge any Guest that is a Pred.
Providence (ID: 10)
(vp) when you remove the Active Accessory.
Khalil (ID: 11)
When you are Overindulged, you can ignore a single Kick Out every Turn, you can’t discard Digestion Tokens, and you get a Digestion Token for every Action and token you discard.
Nathaniel (ID: 12)
You cannot Kick Out from your Stomach. You discard and draw a card into the Lobby during your Wind-down Phase.

Change Log - 8.0
Posted 6 years agoCopied and pasted from the Change log.
Version 8.0 -- “Open Beta”
This is it. Open Beta. A lot of fixes, but nothing crazy, other than the fact I’m pushing this out into the open for people to break at will. To be completely frank, this is less a change log for this entry and more a journal. It’s been a long ride, and of course I’m extremely nervous. Kept my head down and kept refining and changing and working on things, and there are still plenty of broken stuff, or so I think. I don’t know what to really think on the matter. Just keep hacking away. Hope that I get more positive reactions than negatives. Pray that people enjoy it and come back.
In any case, Open Beta. Mostly changes to Apex to make them slightly more balanced.
Apex
Kealldin (ID: 1)
Kealldin is in an incredibly strong spot. As such, I’m making it a bit more difficult to perform his Apex Action where he is strongest, requiring a sacrifice of a coin, but giving him the ability to have any Guest Overindulge. I think this trade-off will keep him in check for some of the games where he is favored.
-Apex Action: Now requires a Gluttony Coin to Perform.
Verak (ID: 2)
Verak could use a little bit of love, but not too much. He’s in a good spot but suffers from some difficulties understanding how he works. Some cleaning up of wording and a tiny buff to his Apex Action will help that.
-Apex Action: Reworded to ignore Stomach Capacity instead. Gives a Point so long as you are Overindulged at the end of your action.
Swiftwing (ID: 3)
-Apex Action: Fixed a spelling error.
Serena (ID: 4)
-Apex Action: Reworded to clarify how to use the card.
Ember (ID: 5)
Ember is incredibly strong, with no true visible way of altering her without nerfing her to oblivion. However, I’ve made an attempt, and we will see how she fares in this new world, sharing abilities with Boxer (which seems natural as thematically they are best friends.)
-Apex Passive
You now Apply Digestion to any Full Guest on your playmat.
Guests no longer get free digestion tokens in your Stomach.
No longer get 1 VP per 2 Digestion Tokens.
Flexier (ID: 6)
-Apex Action: Cannot start this Action when you are Overindulged. Mild reworking of wording for better clarification.
Steltin (ID: 7)
-Apex Action: Rewording for better clarity.
Lyssa (ID: 8)
Lyssa is getting a major change, again, to make her more generalized. However, her Rage tokens continue to prove an interesting mechanic, and now is has evolved into a form of super gauge, where more rage means more devastating attacks. Using any rage will always get her a Coin, so players are encouraged to leave her alone except for extreme opportunities.
-Apex Passive: You now claim Rage tokens when you are the Target of any Kick Out, including your own. You can have a maximum of three.
-Apex Action: You discard all Rage tokens, and based on the number you’ve discarded you can either 1) Lure and claim a Coin, 2) Kickout that is unignorable and claim a Coin, or 3) Devour any Feathery in Any Room and claim a Coin.
Boxer (ID: 9)
More changes, more changes. He’s getting tweaks to how much he generates as his ability to make VP on guests in stomach has been nerfed. He’s a greater coin generator than Ember in this update, but he’s easier to take advantage of.
-Apex Passive: You now get a Coin for every card that Digests on your Playmat. All cards in your Stomach are worth 1 VP.
Providence (ID: 10)
-Apex Action: Now allows discarding any card, and gives a Coin if he discards an Accessory.
Guests and Accessories
Trinkets and Baubles (ID: 72, 76)
Changed wording to ensure players understand that you can only ignore your own Actions.
Brass Pendant (ID: 100)
Now provided a Coin when you Discard.

Getting Started with Gluttony!
Posted 6 years agoHello! If you've come onto this page, then welcome to Gluttony: The Vore Card Game! This journal will be a quick introduction of how the game is played, though for the full effect, we recommend getting a copy yourself and trying it out with friends!
Gluttony is a game about 12 Apexes that have arranged a week-long vore party with friends to eat and get fat with each other. You play as one of the twelve, and seek to become the fattest one there, along with three other players that seek to do the same!
Every game is handled the same way: Players decide who gets the Host Token with the roll of a die, and then all turns are resolved in a clockwise fashion throughout the game. The deck is shuffled and placed in the center, and all players draw Gluttony Coins for themselves.
The meat the game now begins, with each turn starting with drawing a central area called the Lobby up to five cards each turn, and everyone getting a free draw into their area called their Room. Each player then decides what they are going to do for the turn by choosing a single card in their hand and placing it in front of them face down. Once everyone has decided, the party flips their choice over and all actions are resolved one by one. After all actions are done, players wind down for the turn, applying digestion to those that managed to eat and doing anything special if their Apex has anything they can do.
Turns continue in this loop until someone reaches 20 points first and Declares Gluttony, or the card Starsunder is drawn, which auto Declares Gluttony! The final turn occurs, and everyone is encouraged to be a glutton, as everything in their Stomach is counted at the end of the game, regardless of if their prey digested or not!
Count up the totals for each player, and whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins!
That's all there is to Gluttony! There is plenty more to dig into with the game, but this is just a quick overview of how it all works just from a quick perspective! If you're interested in the game, try it out when it hits Open Beta!
