I used to be on Deviant Art pretty much constantly, but shifted to FA.
Anyways, she's a great artsist with a very "unique" style that some may love, and other may wtf at.
But regardless of what she draws, she's a friend of mine, and it's good to have her.

News to Me
Posted 15 years agoSo Exercise. Is Really effing hard.
I made a game plan to jog for 30 minutes, intending to jog for 10 minutes, and then rest for 10, and then jog for ten more.
I do all my stretches, and start out my front door, I spend a minute walking to warm up, and then i start to jog. And then I die and have to stop jogging about 1 Minutes and 40 seconds later. So I walk along for 8 minutes, and then try to jog again, and die again in 40 seconds.
I end up returning home 12 minutes after I left, having a grand total of 2 minutes and 20 seconds jogging. and then i collapse on the floor and lay there for several minutes.
I've been told that Cardio is possibly the least pleasant workout type, but I didn't think it would be as hard as it is.

In my lame attempt at a bribe to you peoples (and as a service to a number of new watchers that have yet to have a chance. this is NOT first come first serve, I will decide who I want to draw for in just a few days, so be sure to place your request!

Posted 15 years agoSo from recent events, I've given up on giving up my education!
I am now determined that I WILL attend the Art Institute of Houston, and I am Confident that I can earn my scholarship. and hell, even if I don't I'm still going to work my ass off to get an education in the field of my choice, no matter where or win.
I was so torn about my educational options, because let's face it, I haven't eaten a meal that the government didn't buy for me in nearly 3 years, I, like many others don't have the leisure of everyday commodities some take for granted, and there are alot of us out there.
Where spending $20 on anything but food is blasphemy, and losing even a dollar keeps you stressed and awake at night, every quarter we have goes into making sure we don't get kicked out on the streets.
Granted it was by my choice, I haven't celebrated my birthday for the past few years, and I'm not even 18 yet, we haven't gone out to eat, or bought toys, or traveled, or gone to the movies, we can't afford any of that.
So how is it that I'm going to pay for my school you might wonder. Well, there are these wonderful little things called Scholarships. The one I'm going to apply for, can grant me a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to the art institute of my choosing. Even if I don't win, if i can place, I can afford to send myself to school, I get get a degree, and a job in a field I want.
Don't EVER give up on your education because you don't have the money, research, ask around, check your target college's sites, get the information you need. You could pay for all your college with something as simple as writing an essay. Check around, learn more about scholarships, and research more about financial aid, you may be eligible for money that you never knew was there.
Don't let something as stupid as money stop you from enjoying your life the way you want.

Update of me Life
Posted 15 years agoNoticed it's been nearly 3 weeks since my last journal, time flies.
Anywho, I've been busy with school. It's not very difficult, and I don't really ever have homework, just a number of projects.
Recently I got sick somehow, when i get sick, my nose becomes a constant faucet. Drip page all day every day, I lose like 20ml of water every minute do to it. so when i slept, I woke up completely dehydrated and congested, in any case, that's over. I've lost my voice some, but it's been getting stronger all day, still can't sing, which bothers me.
I haven't been drawing too much as I'm sure you've noticed but I've gotten some work done.
I figure I ought to tell you guys by now, that I am partnered, and have been partnered for nearly 4 years, may of next year is our official 4 year anniversary. We met when I was only 14-years old.
The identity of said partner is alystair-the-cat Go say hi to him sometimes, he's much better with people than I am. He recently got a tablet too, so if you like what he's drawn, go ahead and watch him, maybe you'll get to see more of his work now that he's more capable of producing it.
I still have to get a commission I said I'd do like 2 months ago, wonder if he's forgotten or given up on it. On a side note, I finally know what I'm going to draw for
yiffwulf So I know what to do next time I'm doodling.
Looking forward to October, all the good new releases for Xbox come out that month, plus Halloween is like the only day I leave my house.

~If I was a World of Warcraft race, that currently is implemented, I'd be a Night Elf

On other news, school has started.
1. I joined Choir, and learned that I actually am capable of singing, and can hold a note and recognize them and produce them as needed without adjustment.
2. I quit choir because we can't afford the fees : /
Economics is BORING.
I have no math class this year (because I took all I needed already, the benefit of being smart :D)
All my classes are super easy and i don't really have to do much work. the only two classes I expect to give me any stress are English 4, and My Anatomy/Physiology courses.
On a side note, I don't talk to many of you because I don't have your skype or anything (plus I'm boring to talk to anyways) How is everything going on with you guys? Anything exciting?

Posted 15 years agoFor my impulsive cleaning sprees.
Went on a huge cleaning frenzy today, I started at 12, and stopped right now, at 7PM
Sometimes I just have the urge to clean everything in one small area, in this case, my room.
I did two loads of laundry, one including all my happy bedsheets and covers, removed all the items from every shelf and dresser i own, dusted and polished those surfaces, cleaned my blinds (those things get filthy, I was surprised) and rearranged all the items back onto their shelves. Took apart my beds (i have a bunkbed all to myself) and put that all back together. cleaned the carpets, then vacuumed them. Took apart my ceiling fan (yes, took it apart) so i could clean the pieces, and stuck it back together. dusted all my books and organized them. Unclogged the bathroom sink, don't really know what was goin on in there.
Basically if it was capable of collecting dust, I cleaned it. took it apart, or threw it away. In any case, that was probably the most productive 7-hours strait of cleaning I've ever done. And now my room smells like febreze.
This is what leads me to believe I'd be happy working as a housekeeper, or maid, or butler, or nanny.

Posted 15 years agoFirst Announcement, I've recently ( 5 minutes ago ) decided to try out livestream. But because I'm dull and a little slow at times, it didn't occur to me that I downloaded it onto my laptop, which I don't draw on. I'll download it to my drawing computer as soon as I can, and hopefully, those who are interested can watch me draw, or just come in to talk every once in a while.

Second Announcement, I'm Officially opening commissions. I'm completely new to them, and I may at some point at for assistance in managing transactions, but regardless, I have to start somewhere.
Price ranges are as following. Examples will be provided when I have time, but my gallery isn't all that large, and I don't have too many to pull from.
Busts/Headshots
$1 for uncolored SKETCH. These can include three sketches of a SINGLE character
$1 for cleaned-up solid line work w/ Flat Color. Only ONE drawing of a single character
Adding an additional character to a sketch will cost $1 additional, and affords you up to three sketches of them as well.
Adding color to a sketch will cost an additional $1, the price remains the same regardless of the number of sketches or characters involved.
Ask About shading, depending on difficulty, I may or may not require additional fees
Full/Part Body
$1 for uncolored sketch. Includes only a single character drawn once.
$2 for cleaned-up solid line work w/ Flat Color. One drawing of a single character.
Adding an additional character to either is $1

Flash Question
Posted 15 years agoIf any of my current watchers know much about flash, I'd like to know if any of you know of a way to import a large image into Flash without decreasing the image quality.
Those of you who have seen it, may have noticed all of the lines were rather blotchy, but the actual photoshop image is of much better quality. If anyone knows how i can import without the quality going down, do tell. Image was a .PNG

srsly. I will tear up your holy book and tell you to take charge of your own life. Stop listening to the invisible deity and make up your own damned mind, this is your body, your mind, and your life.
Well, I won't PHYSICALLY tear your book, that would be terribly disrespectful and a waste of good paper.
I respect your right to believe whatever the hell you want, so long as it doesn't stop you from living every second of your life exactly how you want to.

Posted 15 years agoI really really REALLY have problems with other people. It's not that I dislike you, or that I don't want to talk to you, it's just not in my nature to be social.
It's really bothering me at the moment, earlier today I went to a page of one of my watchers, I looked at their art and I wanted to give encouragement and praise them for their work, however, my unsociable nature made it impossible for me to word it without coming off as rude or condescending. Should it be this hard to say "Nice Job" to someone? It was apparently incredibly difficult for me, because after 2 minutes of sitting in front of the chat box, I gave up.
I need that magical power everyone else has, to be friendly with everyone, and overlook the quality of work in favor of seeing effort and progress, so that I may be more sociable, likable, and be able to cheer on those artists who's determination to improve I applaud.
I'll admit it, I'm a snob for quality, and usually, I find that most of the people I come across are just reeeaaaaalllyyy not good at drawing, yet. Considering I hate my own drawings and want to improve really badly, that means a good number of people's art I also do not appreciate.
If you watch me, and you draw, I've probably stopped by your page at one time or another with the intent of wishing you luck, or congratulating you on progress or something like that, but then gave up when my brain fails and I can't think of something nice to write.
How do you people do this, how do you be friendly and say nice things when you don't really think it. > <

Commissions?
Posted 15 years agoI know I said I was going to put this off until I got better, and I still intend to. But after my sister blabbed to my mother about my plans, both insisted that I jump right into the fire and start taking commissions.
So, because I'm not of age, and don't have my own bank account, or paypal, my sister is setting up her paypal to allow me to take commissions in.
I just applied for my first job, likely I won't get it, but here's hoping.
I'll put up more information when I get a few "nicer" submissions in, and when I've settled on prices.
All those who I owe request work will still receive what I owe, and to those who I've promised a request slot in the next batch of requests, you will still receive them.
