I announced in July 2018 that I would be increasing my prices "soon" and I kind of sat on my hands about it for a few months shy of a year. I am really sorry that I have not been replying to so many people's notes for the last few months, although the truth is that I have had more commission offers than I can keep up with, and while that's in some ways a wonderful problem to have, I have taken this as a sign that I am long overdue to alter my pricing sheet based on demand. Hopefully this won't be a major inconvinience to any of you who were hoping to get a commission from me soon, although I would like to think I have improved as an artist from where I was when I made my last pricing list.

I will be trying to go through some of my past notes to catch up with some of you. If you contacted me a long time ago and got no response, don't be afraid to shoot me another note. Just be aware that my pricing has changed and I am not charging a little more per commission. I am also charging a bit more for additional characters than I was before, however I am also allowing for up to 4 characters rather than 3.

Thank you all for your interest in my work. This is an important step for me in reaching my goal of financial independence, and I hope you will find the quality is worth the increase. Being able to get paid for art has allowed me to develop my talents like never before and I am looking forward to improving even further.

It has been about a year since I last updated my pricing list and once again I find myself with the wonderful problem of being offered more commission opportunities than I can keep up with. There will be a small increase on my commission prices. Same as with last time, if you are already in contact with my about a commission you have nothing to worry about since you are "grandfathered in," and sketch prices will be affected the least by the new changes. I am also considering having two separate queues, one for color and one for sketches. Color commissions take a bit longer and I often find myself wanting to take a little break by doing a sketch or two. I can generally do sketches pretty quickly so it makes sense to keep the sketch queue moving without getting backed up by the more time intensive jobs.

I don't have an exact date but it will be sometime in the next few weeks. As I said above it will not be a drastic increase, but it will give me a slightly better return on the time investment that goes into doing art commissions and hopefully give me a better leg up on my monthly bills. I greatly appreciate all of the business you guys have been giving me, and I am glad to keep bringing you new artwork.

The closing post is coming! I have not forgotten about it, although my schedule has been a little hectic lately and I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and sort through all the different contributions that people have sent to me across multiple channels of communication just yet.

If for some reason a contribution of yours does not appear in the closing event post when it goes up, please just leave a comment on it with a link to the piece and I will make sure it is included.

Submissions will be sorted into "Tame," "Mature," and "Explicit" categories. Tame basically means "PG-13." "Mature" will be pictures that have exposed female nipples. "Explicit" will include frontal nudity and sexual acts. All categories will be posted in the same closing post, which I think will also be some kind of collage of all the Carmelita artwork I've made for the event

As part of the Carmelita Fox appreciation event throughout this month, I will be offering a 5% discount on any commissions that come my way that feature Carmelita. I also have a limited number of slots open for full HQ color commissions for now to ensure that more people get a chance to commission me for smaller projects like sketches.

Currently I have four full HQ color slots open, in addition to the projects that I am currently finishing up. I do not have a hard limit on sketches or color sketches since I can generally finish those a bit quicker. Depending on how quickly I can work through my queue, I can open up more slots as I work my way through it.

The big thing for me is I want to make sure I can get everyone's commissions done by the end of the month if possible, and still have time to work on something special for my Patreon backers to vote on. I can't guarantee that all commissions will be on a first-come-first-serve basis since I have to actually like the idea before I'll agree to draw it, but being early definitely improves your odds.

And remember, if I am only able to get you in for a sketch, you can re-commission me to color it later for the price difference. And I'll even include the 5% discount if it's a CFF piece and you ask for a the color service after CFF is over.

I have just updated my commission prices. I was originally going to do it in September but I decided to hold off until October. Full HQ color illustrations will be the most impacted since they were taking a bit more time than I was able to effectively manage for the money they were bringing in, however I am happy to announce that I am introducing some new budget friendly commission types, such as color sketches, inked line art, flat shaded color pics, and avatars. I also have an official price for doing character sheets, which include both the front and back of a character in flat shaded color.

The least affected option is sketches. I have dropped the differentiation between full-body and "portrait" sketches and now any single-character sketch will be $20, with $10 per additional character.

Thank you all for your interest and enthusiasm for my work. I'm really happy that I've gotten such a strong positive reaction for my commissions so far and I hope that you will find that my new prices are still reasonable.

Fellow artists, if you are interested in participating in Carmelita Fox Fiesta as a contributor in November, please write a response in the comments section below. Once the event starts I will make a new post with links to everyone's FA pages who is participating, which will make it easy for people to find you for commissions. Specify whether whether you are taking commissions or not, and if you do explicit art or not.

Explicit artists will get you an X next to their name and artists taking commissions will a $ next to their name, which will make it easier for fans and potential clients to find you during the event. You have the whole month of October to decide whether or not to sign up. If you decide to sign up during the event I can still add you, although November 1st will be when I officially check the roll if you want to make sure I don't miss you when I make the launch post.

If you don't sign up but still end up deciding to draw Carmelita art in November, that's fine too! Signing up is simply a way to make things convenient for people looking for Carmelita art and is entirely optional for your participation.

I've added a new experimental type of commission. Since I occasionally go back and color sketches I've done in the past, I've decided to give people the opportunity to have a direct say in what sketches I color. This isn't going to mean any real changes to what I would normally draw on my own time, but it does mean that if you really like a sketch I've done and want to see it in higher quality, you don't have to just sit around waiting and hoping that I'll do it eventually.
